Rumors of a royal wedding are intensifying as CBS says it's no longer a question of "if," but "when" Prince William and Kate Middleton will walk down the aisle.

They're both 27, and have been together, "more or less," for eight years.

The latest rumor is that William and Kate have come to an "understanding," if not an engagement. They are headed down the path to marriage - just not now.

That's stating the obvious, according to one source, who says, "Everyone believes Prince William and Kate Middleton will be together, eventually married."

The latest report claims is likely based on plans for the couple to wed before William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, marks 60 years on the throne in 2012.

That means Prince William and Kate Middleton have just three years to tie the knot - and the clock is ticking: "She has to learn to speak in public," says a royal family observer. "We've never heard Kate Middleton speak, and she's a shy girl."

"She will be having media training."

Another celebrity gossip report in Britain says William will be spending some time with his father, Prince Charles this month, and teasingly asks, "Will they discuss a wedding announcement? Wait and see!" We're totally convinced.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have done their best to keep their relationship quiet.

But that's a challenge when you're British royalty and all.

Therefore, it was major news across the Atlantic over the weekend when witnesses spotted rare moment of public affection between the two as they walked from a post-polo match party near Windsor, England.

"William spent about 40 minutes at the party after his match, and then picked up Kate and they wandered back to the car," a source told People. "He put his left arm around her back and there was plenty of smiling between them."

There was plenty of bodily fluids exchanged between them later, too, we're sure... if you know what we mean!

Evidently, we're not alone.

A man has been arrested in Great Britain after stolen pictures of Prince William and girlfriend Middleton were offered for sale to a newspaper.

According to Great Britan's The Sun, an individual reported that a camera had been stolen in London late last week. Within an hour, two men using false names contacted the newspaper offering to sell photos of the prince. Geniuses, these were not.

The images in question reportedly included numerous shots of Prince William and Kate Middleton on their recent vacation in the Caribbean last month. The publication – which described a few as "sexy snaps" – delivered the photos and a dossier of information to London's Metropolitan Police.

"A 25-year-old man was arrested ... on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods," a police rep confirmed to People Magazine.

Prince William received his "wings" at England's Royal Air Force graduation ceremony on Friday. And guess who was cheering him on every step of the way?

The Prince's lovely, on-again, off-again, definitely-now-on-again girlfriend Kate Middleton. She's dreamy.

Prince William, who trained for three months, became the fourth successive generation of the monarchy to be an RAF pilot.

"William was very good," his commander told the Associated Press. "I was very impressed by his flying skills. He had a natural handling ability and he was very quick to learn."

Big Will's brother, Prince Harry, who recently returned from military service in Afghanistan, was not at the ceremony; he's still on holiday with girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

The famous British couple got down up on the dance floor at a raucous (and risqué!) charity event in London.

According to People, Middleton kissed her longtime boyfriend as the pair showed off their dance moves as though they were Karina Smirnoff and Mario. The price twirled his gal around as they boogied to Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti" and the Guns N' Roses classic "Welcome to the Jungle."

"They looked happy and so in love," a witness said. "Kate was smiling so widely and they looked like there was no one else in the world when they were dancing."

The pair â€" plus Prince Harry, who's just back from his African holiday with Chelsy Davy â€" were attending an event for The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund. (Henry, a school pal of Harry's, died in a car crash in 2002.)

Prince Harry and Prince William enjoyed a night out on Wednesday at the Boujis Club in Kensington, England. Joining them was on-again/off-again girlfriend of Prince William, Kate Middleton. Great to see they're still an item!

Also joining the royals and KM was Virgin heiress Holly Branson, daughter of Richard Branson, who bears a slight resemblance to the girlfriend of Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy - who, sadly, wasn't on hand for what looks like a fun evening of revelry.

A week after America's most powerful young couple got engaged, might Britain's royal pairing be next? Reportedly, the prince has taken his long-time girlfriend off to a secluded island in the Indian Ocean for a private, romantic break.

People magazine says the visit to the exclusive Desroches island in the Seychelles bolsters talk that couple is close to getting hitched.

The two split in April, but it was only a matter of weeks before they were back together again, meeting up for secret dates, including a party at army officer William's barracks. Now, there appears to be little doubt they're going strong once more.

Just like Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish. Minus the extramarital affair.

Prince William is on vacation from the army following a troop commanders' course. Middleton arrived from the U.K. late last week. She's very pretty.

Princess Diana was honored last night - but it was two other British women that really made news.

And, no, for once we're not talking about consistently nude English models such as Keeley Hazell or Lucy Pinder.

Chelsy Davy who has been dating Prince Harry for about three years, planted a smooch on her man during the show, while Kate Middleton smiled supportively at Prince William from just two rows behind her concert-promoter boyfriend at Wembley Stadium.

While the former couple has been solid for years, Middleton and William have recently been seeing each other again after breaking off their five-year relationship in April, friends have told People magazine.

Dressed in a white trench coat and a black-and-white print dress by Issa, Middleton rocked out to the show among the other young royals and friends, putting her arm in the air to "Shine" by former boy band Take That and grooving to Lily Allen and Nelly Furtado.

Meanwhile, Army officer Harry mindful of those he would have been serving alongside in Iraq had he been able to go, added a word of praise: "I wish I was there with you. I'm sorry I can't be. To you and everyone on operations we'd both like to say stay safe."

David Beckham, soon to start his soccer career with L.A.'s Galaxy, got one of the biggest cheers of the night when he stepped onstage. Before he introduced Take That he called the evening's hosts "truly remarkable. The nation should be proud of them."

The show included acts from Diana's era (Rod Stewart, Supertramp and Bryan Ferry) and those from her sons' (Diddy, Kanye West and Fergie).

If they had asked her to contribute, it's safe to assume Sam Cooke would have bared her large breasts, as well.

Approximately two months after Prince William and Kate Middleton broke up, the two have been enjoying clandestine meetings, friends confirm.

"It's true that they have been seeing each other," a source tells People about the Royal couple.

Adds a pal: "They [never] loathed each other. It just wasn't working at the time."

Similar to Kevin Federline and Britney Spears, perhaps.

The couple was spotted at a June 9 bash in William's Dorset, England, army barracks, where the British press reported the twosome talked all night and kissed on the dance floor. Sounds hot.

Sounds like Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush.

William and Middleton, both 25, began dating five years ago, and many had Middleton, an accessories buyer at the British fashion company Jigsaw, pegged as the future Queen of England. It's a title more respected than Firecrotch. By a lot.

Both are expected at the July 1 Concert for Diana; Prince Harry, 22 â€" who is set to return from his army training in Canada â€" has also invited his girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 21.

A source says the spark for this pair is "still there." So the future is wide open. With any luck, they'll end up as happy together as Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil.
