While April Fools’ Day pranks are a dime a dozen and most can be seen coming a mile away, an Australian DJ duo pulled off an epic one this year.

Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli resigned on air in a pre-recorded segment, dramatically peacing out without notifying their bosses.

The bosses’ reactions were then captured via special cameras that had been set up around the station as they panicked to yank the f-bomb-filled tirade:

“Mate, I’m being serious here, and I get a little bit emotional when I’m talking about this,” Ryan began. ”I’ve been having some real problems with work."

"I wanna do this live on air, and I think it’s a perfect moment to tell you, and tell everyone what’s going on. Mate, I, I’ve just had enough. I’ve honestly had enough."

"I’m not spending enough time with my family. Work has just been draining, and it’s been too much, and I’m working in a place where I feel…”

“Mate, I’m serious, I’m completely f--king overworked!” he continued. ”Wippa, listen to me, and I told you I was going to do this. Mate, you know this."

A decently sized Los Angeles earthquake shook up residents of California this week.

Did you catch how these anchors reacted when it hit? Pretty funny stuff.

But not nearly as funny as Jimmy Kimmel Live taking to the streets and asking folks if they are prepared for the really BIG earthquake that is scheduled to hit the next morning.

You know, the one they made up.

But watch pedestrians react as if they're totally familiar with this fake natural disaster, highlighted by one guy saying he read about it on Facebook:

Lie Witness News has become one of Kimmel's most hilarious bits.

A mother doing Yoga while balancing her four-year old on her contorted body? Amazing.

A man and a woman both donning Yoga pants and asking bystanders to judge their rear ends, without revealing initially that the man is actually a man?

Also amazing. In a very different way.

In the following video, noted YouTube prankster Yousef Saleh Erakat bends over and keeps his face hidden while his partner in hilarious crime asks various people who has the better butt.

Watch the reaction of some guys when they realize they have selected someone from their same gender:

Awesome, right?

Ready to a new edition of Lie Witness News?

For the second in a few months, Jimmy Kimmel Live has visited a music festival and exposed obnoxious music snobs at total and complete liars.

In October, Kimmel pranked attendees at the Rock the Bells 2013 festival, asking fans for their opinions on made up artists and bands.

And now he's done it again, this time sending a reporter to SXSW in Austin and asking for peopl's takes on such stars as Contact Dermatitis, Neil Patrick Harassment and female rappers Heavy Flow.

Watch now to see people answer as if they know all about these fictitious individuals:

Jimmy Kimmel Live has been making us crack up for months.

Here are a handful of our favorite recent bits:

Jimmy Kimmel Live makes up stories about Barack Obama for this edition of Lie Witness News. And everyone believes the lies!

Late last year, chef Keith Guehrke appeared on a number of morning talk shows across the midwest.

He described himself as an "unorthodox, self-taught" guru in the kitchen who dropped such nuggets of knowledge on various hosts as:

"There's a statistic that around the holidays, especially between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's one of the highest suicide rates and I think part of that is the stress of, What are you going to do with these leftovers?"

Seems a bit far-fetched, doesn't it?

That's because chef Keith Guehrke doesn't exist.

It's come out that the man who convinced anchors to try such concoctions as gravy ice cream and/or pumpkin pie smoothies was Nick Prueher, the founder of a site called the Found Footage Festival.

According to many residents of Los Angeles, The Bachelor is sleazy. He waxes his chest too much. In short, he's pretty much a "man slut."

So these pedestrians told a special reporter for Jimmy Kimmel Live this week when he asked them for their thoughts on the show in general and Juan Pablo Galavis in particular.

But there was something important this intrepid reporter did NOT reveal: he's Juan Pablo Galavis!

Watch the interview subjects spew mostly negative opinions about Juan Pablo (to his face, remember) and then watch The Bachelor online to catch up on anything you may have missed this week:

This ad from LG, released earlier this fall, takes the idea of going viral by pranking people to sell products to a new level. Jimmy Kimmel would approve.

The brand’s new 84-inch ultra-realistic HD TV is so realistic that it could pass for a window in a manager's office as he's interviewing job applicants.

Following a series of shots showing workers tucking tiny cameras in spots around the office and installing the big-screen unit, the show is ready to begin.

As the applicants filter into the office and the interviews get underway, the room begins to shake as a giant fireball appears on the window / TV screen.

The video then cuts to people freaking out. Staged or not, the ad went viral for a reason. It's awesome. Watch the full clip below if you haven't seen it ...

A disabled New Jersey high school student not only turned his disability into a hilarious Vine account, he may end up with a cameo on The Walking Dead.

Nick Santonastasso, 17, was born with only one arm and no legs ... a tragedy, but one he turns into instant comedy with a string of viral prank videos.

His "Zombie Prank" account features himself in zombie mode, full-on terrorizing people, Walking Dead style, in situations such as this one. Pretty hilarious:

Nick's fan base has grown on Vine and a petition with more than 1,500 signatures is circulating to get the teenager on AMC's hit zombie cable series.

He hasn't received a call from the show's producers yet to make it official, but says he's optimistic it will happen, given the groundswell of support.

His online notoriety is not without critics, however.

Nick takes a lot of heat from people saying he reduces his disability to an object of mockery ... but it seems like he's just making the best of it, don't you think?

Ponder that thought and sound off in the comments ... and watch The Walking Dead online if you haven't seen it, then picture Nick's dream coming true.

This. Is. Amazing.

In the following video, two friends decide to play a much-needed prank on a man who has been arrested for drunk driving for the FIFTH time.

With their pal passed out, they set up a room to make it look like a hospital... pretend to be doctors... and then convince the moron that he has just awoken from a 10-year long coma.

To help along the way, they even air a phony news report that claims Miley Cyrus is living in a trailer park, Hillary Clinton is President and Justin Bieber is dating... well, someone unexpected.

Watch the con unfold below and let's all hope this drinker learns his lesson:

It will be difficult for anyone to ever top this Carrie coffee shop prank.

But a man in Louisville, Kentucky tried his hardest this week when he celebrated Halloween a few days early... by taking a toy helicopter, attaching a skeleton doll to it and flying the deathly creature around parks and running trails.

How did folks react when the Grim Reaper came barreling toward them from the sky? Sometimes from as high as 200 feet in the air? About as hilariously as you'd expect.

Check out their reactions in this great video:
