Perhaps realizing that the pot was calling the kettle black hard core, Lisa Rinna is apologizing to Heidi Montag for comments about the latter's plastic surgery.

Rinna said that she wouldn't allow her two daughters to see Heidi Montag pictures in People after The Hills star had 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day.

The 46-year-old Rinna, who has had Botox, lip-plumping and breast implants gone terribly awry in her own right, says that she didn't mean any hard feelings.

"I apologize to Miss Montag if my words were taken and used against her in the press," she Twittered. "I did not slam her or her surgeries for the record."

For the record, that's exactly what she did. But no matter.

A couple (of gross) peas in a pod. The plastic torch is passed.

While Rinna's intentions were spot-on - letting her little girls look at Heidi Montag is definitely a bad idea - what can she say, given all the work she's had done?

For her part, Montag didn't seem too bummed out. Asked about her second breast augmentation (giving her DDD boobs) by Us Weekly, she lamented simply:

"I didn't get them as big as I originally wanted!"

Gross. Spencer Pratt, she's all yours man.

When Lisa Rinna is calling you out on plastic surgery, that's like ... we don't even know what. But it says a lot about the new, "improved" Heidi Montag.

Rather than being able to relate, the actress, who has had Juvederm fillers, Botox, lip-plumping, breast implants and more, thinks Heidi went too far.

In fact, she refuses to allow Heidi Montag plastic surgery photos inside her home, where her daughters, Delilah, 11, and Amelia, 8, could see them.

"I will tell you, I had to take that cover off the magazine before it came in the house," she says of People magazine, which touted Montag's surgery.

"We have two girls. I don’t think it is something you want to bring in and say, 'Oh, look.'" What they say when they see their mom is another story.

A couple of natural beauties right here.

Continues Lisa Rinna, "I take a lot of the covers off of magazines if they are just not appropriate. Obviously, we are raising two young girls. Anything that has to do with body or weight issues, I think you just have to be really careful.”

Yes you do. Such good parenting.

"That magazine has changed so much. I was actually on the cover a few times [in the '80s]. In those days, they had stories about people who hadn't had their faces cut open. They had stories about things that were really going on."

"I don't know. I mean, plastic surgery?"

Next think you know, Rinna, who has taken it all off for Playboy in the recent past, will be bashing the magazine's Heidi Montag nude spread as a bad example too.

Heidi Montag is very upset, or at least was very upset initially, with her recent round of plastic surgery, her husband/pimp/publicist Spencer Pratt claims.

The Hills star famously had 10 plastic surgery operations in one day, and despite claims that she loves the results, Spencer says she was far from pleased.

"She came out of the hospital and the only thing she was saying was that the doctor better hide," Pratt said at Pure nightclub inside Caesars Palace.

"She wasn't happy," Spencer reiterated.

The aspiring pop star says she had "no idea" how painful all the ridiculous cosmetic procedures would be. Eh, you asked for it, now live with it, girl.

Hack Vegas Showgirl

On a recent trip to a Sin City club, The Hills star Spencer Pratt poses with a low-rent Las Vegas stripper. Oh, wait, that's Heidi Montag! Didn't even recognize her!

"The worst pain was actually my ears. I didn't know that was the most painful process and feature," Heidi Montag recalled of having her face pulled back.

Gross.

Not that it deterred her from having further work done. Next up? Those boobs. For the third time. "I didn't get them as big as I originally wanted," she said.

Added Pratt, "She doesn't stop talking about it." Does it seem odd that Spencer Pratt is the voice of restraint and reason? He's not egging her on like usual.

So how did the couple spend a romantic Valentine's Day together? "My Valentine's present to Spencer is going shooting at the gun range," Montag said.

Heidi Montag, who has been widely criticized for her recent plastic surgery binge, says she plans on getting mom Darlene some of her own this Mother's Day.

While reports surfaced that Heidi's mom, Darlene Egelhoff, was horrified at her daughter, Heidi now says Darlene not only knew about it, but supported her.

Plastic Princess

"I've had this conversation with her several times. So I think she knew," the 23-year-old plastic cyborg princess says. "I already heard what she had to say."

Montag says the only thing she didn't tell her mom was the date of her plastic surgery, as "I didn't want it to be a circus. I didn't want it to be crazy media."

Heidi says Darlene "was excited and she's asking ... for her surgery next ... For Mother's Day, I have to ask Dr. Frank Ryan if he'll do a mommy makeover."

SURGERY GONE WRONG: For once, a supermarket tabloid headline speaks truth.

Should we actually believe any of this? Probably not.

It seems The Hills story editors can't figure out the most dramatic contrived story line, because conflicting reports say her family was very much in the dark.

In fact, People reports that Heidi Montag is heading home to Crested Butte, Colo., to confront her mom and “the new me,” with camera crews in lock step.

And camera crews for her MTV show are recording it all.

Montag, still in bandages she has to wear for portions of the day while her recovery continues, boarded a private jet bound for Colorado early Wednesday.

We can't imagine Darlene was actually supportive of her 23-year-old's decision to dismantle her natural face, or that she'll react well to Heidi 3.0 in person.

What do you think? When did Heidi look best?

Many celebrities resort to plastic surgery to enhance their looks.

Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port, alumni of The Hills, are not among them, as both are committed to staying beautiful naturally. This interview with them is from late last year, but is still topical in light of the recent Heidi Montag plastic surgery debacle.

“I think it’s a personal thing,” Whitney, now star of The City, tells me. “They feel like it’s necessary and it’s going to make them feel more confident."

If that's what they believe, "then more power to them," she adds.

Lauren Conrad says the need for plastic surgery stems from fame.

Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad are all-natural (and all-cute)!

“It’s hard because you’re in that position where you’re being criticized for everything,” LC, whose novel L.A. Candy is getting the silver screen treatment.

“Do you ignore it, and try to be beautiful on your own and be happy with the way you look? or do you listen to the criticism. They put them on this platform, and they tear them apart and then they criticize them even more for changing themselves."

"I think you just try and be confident with the way you are.”

Although Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad don’t admit to enhancing their looks through surgery, that doesn't mean they don't make the best of their natural features.

Whitney says that among her go-to beauty products are Fresh Black Tea eye cream, and she also wears Trish McEvoy #3 perfume, Snowdrop and Crystal Flowers.

LC, who says her eyes look “round and boyish,” swears by Mark’s Get In Line liquid eyeliner. For scents, “I wear 15 different perfumes. Anything with a gardenia.”

Whitney Port laughs, “Oh, so does my mom.”

Heidi Montag doesn't do a thing without "career" implications in mind, and her 10 plastic surgeries in one day are no exception, says the doctor who did them.

The reality star's transformation has shocked the world (or at least celebrity gossip sites), but her surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan calls it a “well thought out career move.”

Fake Boobs on Display

Ryan says the Heidi Montag plastic surgery bonanza came about because Mrs. Spencer Pratt felt self-conscious about her out-sticking ears and protruding chin.

She was also motivated by the desire to look her best to excel in show business, an industry that, too often, focuses too much attention on style vs. substance.

"I couldn’t have done that," Ryan said. "Sitting down there with the wisdom of someone older and thinking: 'What is it I really need to do to propel my career?'"

Gross.

"Is it right or wrong to use plastic surgery to propel your career? I don’t know. But since Marilyn Monroe and back, its been happening, so that was her decision."

Ryan also Radar Online that Montag’s husband, the incomparable Spencer Pratt, was Heidi's rock when it came to supporting his wife in her bold decision.

"I think Heidi was 100 percent essentially, and Spencer was plus minus about it," Ryan said. "But he wanted to support her because he really loves her."

The doctor said he believes The Hills starlet's decision making was sound.

"Liposuction and breast surgery go on in great numbers," he said. "Heidi is 23 [and] has been voting for five years. She is an adult, she made an informed decision, she made a good call as an adult ... dads are really anti-breast implants."

"The reaction is either that they want to support their daughter or son getting plastic surgery, or saying, 'Honey, you are perfect just the way you are.'"

Was she more perfect before or after? Tell us! Heidi looked better ...

Having undergone so many plastic surgery procedures that she barely resembles her past self, Heidi Montag says she just tries to beautiful, inside and out.

Asked on Good Morning America for a response to those who say she is addicted to plastic surgery, Montag tried to say she's not addicted ... or something:

"I would say that none of those people know me at all. That's just a judgment. I'm not addicted. If I were addicted, I would have had 10 plastic surgeries."

What she had, actually, was 10 procedures on the same day in November. This followed previous plastic surgery three years ago where she had a lot done.

In a recent interview, Montag admitted she was "beyond obsessed" with having work done. She is now backing away from that notion ... only not really.

Asked why she'd want to look like a Barbie doll, Montag replied: "I think I look like myself. I think I just look like a different, improved version of myself."

Many observers are upset with the message that's sent to young girls when an already attractive 23-year-old chooses to undergo so many alterations.

But Heidi Montag says it's her life – and her line of work. Yes, work.

"I'm in a different industry," Montag said, "I have to do things that are going to make me happy. I'm living in my skin, and I look in the mirror and it's my career and my life, and you only have one. So, I want to take advantage of everything."

But has it helped or hurt? Tell us! Heidi Montag looks hotter ...

Now more plastic than human, more machine than woman, a cyborg-like Heidi Montag recently (and willingly) decided to undergo 10 plastic surgery procedures.

This wasn't her first time, either.

Despite being only 23 years young, Heidi Montag has had a nose job and a boob job and likely some work on those lips as well - and that was all back in 2007.

The question is? Did it do anything for her? Or did she look better as the fresh-faced cutie we first saw in the early days of The Hills? Vote in our poll below ...

Heidi Montag looks hotter ...

When Audrina Patridge is calling you out for having too plastic surgery, you've got issues. Then again, Heidi Montag is probably just thrilled to be mentioned at all.

After all, The Hills star insists on calling herself a pop star and claims her debut album is on par with Michael Jackson's Thriller. Whatever keeps her in the news.

Audrina's take on Heidi Montag's plastic surgery is that it's her body and her choice, but at the same time, she herself wouldn't be tempted to go nearly that far.

"I haven't seen how she looks, so it's hard for me to comment on it, but these are her decisions, and as long as Heidi's happy, that's all that matters," Audzo said.

Very diplomatic.

  • Ceiling Eyes Pic
  • Surgeried

Audrina Patridge has only mild criticism for her plastic pal.

Rumors that Audrina herself has fake boobs and has undergone other plastic surgery procedures in the past have circulated widely, but she's never confirmed it.

Heidi, on the other hand, seems to milk it for attention. Frightening.

Even while showing the 'Tag support, Audrina Patridge admits surprise at the number of procedures she had. Let's just say she's on par with MJ in something.

"I think it's a case of, 'To each their own,'" she said at Kari Feinstein's Style Lounge at Zune in Hollywood, "but 10 procedures in one day is a little much."

by Free Britney at . Comments

She may be only 23, but The Hills' Heidi Montag is already closing in on that many plastic surgeries. While that sounds like an exaggeration, but it's really not.

Her new single is called "I'll Do It." The lyrics suggest that she is referring to something sexual, but these words could also describe her take on any operation.

Nose. Lips. Boobs. Done, done and done. That was before she decided to go under the knife and have a staggering 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day.

"For the past three years, I've thought about what to have done," Heidi tells People, which features the plastic princess on its cover. "I'm beyond obsessed."

Plastic Surgery Addict

Has she gone too far? Depends on the paychecks, right Heidi?

If nothing else, Heidi Montag has at least been fully open about all the operations she's had to turn herself into a generic, bleach-blonde Hollywood bimbo.

But on November 20, Montag took her transformation to a new level. Keeping her family in the dark, she continued her journey to become "the best me."

Pretty soon, "the best her" will resemble Michael Jackson at this rate. Seriously, if she thinks this is what she needs to become a pop star, God help us.

Good alterations? YOU tell us! Heidi looked hotter ...
