Fans of The Hills know that Spencer Pratt has some in-law drama of his own (see Montag, Holly - more on that later today), but someone's got it worse.

Seen here at Sunday's MTV VMAs, the reality TV villain found a bit of common ground with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz - and let him know about it:

Yes, Joe Simpson is controlling and insane. But Pete knew that going in.

Later, Wentz and Spencer Pratt proceeded to exchange tales of what it's like to see their talentless, plastic surgery-loving better halves naked.

The Hollywood Gossip has a tough one today in its Would You Hit That? segment - a gentleman who can generate a variety of opinions.

On the same morning in which we confirmed that Ben Affleck got Jennifer Garner pregnant again, we've learned that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are expecting a baby girl on October 31 - and the excited daddy-to-be is already sewing clothes!

"Ashlee and Pete are on cloud nine," an insider told Star.

They actually conceived the baby just before Valentine's Day while they were on vacation and the baby has an initial due date of October 31.

The source says when Pete heard she might have the baby on Halloween, "he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect!"

So true, so true. Expect Jessica Simpson to pull the goalie on Tony Romo, Bridget Moynahan style, in an attempt to steal the spotlight back from her sis.

Really, how does one tell Joel Madden and Pete Wentz apart. Besides their use of a flat iron, these dudes have so many things in common:

1. Punk, poser, hipster-lite boy bands
2. Talentless, media whore baby mamas
3. Makeup

For now, though, our celebrity hair police are focusing on the man-bangs and general greasiness that definines the rockers' signature "look."

We get it. Pete Wentz grew up in the Chicago area, played dive bars around the colleges before Fall Out Boy got huge, and so on.

But isn't there a better-looking celebrity with Windy City roots? We know not every star can look like DeAnna Pappas, but still ...

Not sure how Pete got this gig, but Joe Simpson was probably there trying to orchestrate it. That is, if he wasn't fixing Jessica Simpson's bra.

But we're getting off track here.

All we're saying is that we've had enough of this guy. Next time, Cubs, do us a favor and recruit Kendra Wilkinson for the first pitch duties.

Newlyweds Ashlee Wentz and husband Pete Wentz have been expecting for some time now, but just confirmed publicly for the first time she's pregnant.

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," they wrote on Pete Wentz's official website.

"This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

That's it. Show's over. We'll have some celebrity gossip you haven't heard 10 times before at some point, promise.

Newly married Ashlee Simpson is changing her name to Ashlee Wentz in honor of her husband, Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.

"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man," she said. "It's a tradition I think is a great tradition."

The singer, who got married May 17, says privately she'll go by Ashlee Wentz and "professionally," she'll be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

Pete Wentz says he left the name change decision to his wife.

"These decisions are all completely up to Ashlee," Wentz said. "I want her to do these kinds of things the way she wants to do them."

Still, he admits, he was flattered.

"Oh man, I was like upgrade me! You know what I'm saying? The Wentz family, our Christmas card just got upgraded! It feels insane. It feels unreal."

No word on whether Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are planning to marry, or whether she will be known as Jessica Simpson-Romo after they do so.

As you can see, Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson were among the lucky guests. He just can't quit grinding with that, no matter how hard he tries!

As for how Pete and Ashlee will remember the big day?

"She looked like a girl right out of a movie," the groom, 28, says about his new media whore bride, 23, who was married in a nondenominational ceremony officiated by her pimp father, Crazy Joe Simpson.

Pete Wentz is speaking out for the first time since his weekend wedding to Ashlee Simpson. "We have signed a pre-nup," the newlywed rocker admitted on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday.

As for whose assets are being protected, well, no elaboration.

As for Ashlee's name, "she legally is a Wentz ... I don't know what she'll do with her stage name, that's up to her. She hasn't decided that."

He said they're skipping out on a honeymoon (for now) and have been content hanging out in their basement in L.A.

"We got some blow-up palm trees," Wentz said. "A little fake-n-bake tanning booth... We're eating DiGiorno's pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while, it's great. We're gonna save that 30 grand, you know?"

As for married life: "I feel great!" he said. "It is sunny and 65 in my head."

Pete Wentz still refused to confirm he got Ashlee Simpson pregnant.
