Paul Rudd takes on the role of Ant-Man in the new Marvel movie by that name, though in this first look at the actor in character, he's got a ways to go.

Before looking the part of a superhero, that is.

Check out this photo of Paul Rudd as Ant-Man in San Francisco, California, with the Golden Gate Bridge and a nondescript van in the background:

Paul Rudd as Ant-Man

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man hits theaters next July. In it, Rudd plays a hoodie-clad, unshaven Scott Lang - before he makes a key acquaintance, that is.

Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), a genius scientist, has found a way for a man to shrink down to the size of an insect but also increase his strength.

Thus, Ant-Man. His mission? Plan an ambitious heist that will save the world and stymie Pym's rivals who want to hijack the technology for nefarious uses.

No pressure.

Ant-Man also stars Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Judy Greer and Corey Stoll. Excited to see Rudd take on this oversized (sorry) role?

Now THIS is how you announce you're pregnant.

If you happen to be hanging out in the same place as Paul Rudd, that is.

One lucky couple recently found themselves in this situation and took full advantage of it, asking the actor to give them a hand in revealing their very big news to family and friends.

Seriously, does it get any more awesome than Paul Rudd?!?

Of course, not everyone has a comedic actor around to help out in such a funny manner.

"As if!" "She's a full-on Monet!" "Do you prefer fashion victim or ensembly challenged?"

One of the most beloved comedies of the 90s, Clueless gave us countless memorable quotes that are repeated by Betties and Burn-Outs alike to this day.

Sadly, while the film was a surprise smash in 1995, not all of its stars went on to the A-list acting careers they likely envisioned.

Alicia Silverstone
Alicia's acting career didn't really take off after Clueless. These days she's a mom and outspoken advocate of controversial medical practices.

Along with writer/director Amy Heckerling, the cast of the cult favorite reunited in LA yesterday to honor the film and take part in a Q & A session with fans.

With all the surviving stars gathering together for the first time since Clueless was released and the movie's twentieth anniversary just around the corner, we figured what better time to check in on what Cher Horowitz and company are up to these days?

Paul Rudd left Jimmy Fallon speechless last night ... as well as himself. Sort of literally! The actor and Tonight Show host dueled it out in an epic lip-sync off!

As he's done against John Krasinski and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Fallon took on Rudd in a lip sync battle featuring classic tunes from Tina Turner and Queen.

Check it out below, laugh out loud and see who emerged on top:

Rudd, 44, started off the competition with Turner's "You Better Be Good to Me," while Fallon, 39, turned up the heat with Foreigner's "Juke Box Hero."

It was the actor's rendition of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now," however, that was as hilarious as anything you will see if you watch Anchorman online.

Seriously, Britney Spears. THIS is how you lip-sync. With FEELING.

With leaps, jazz hands, pelvic thrusts, and butt slaps, he brought the house down and Fallon immediately conceded to his guest's stellar performance.

Truly, it was a sight to behold. Not unlike these last lip-sync battles:

Paul Rudd has something to be happy about this week aside from mostly positive Anchorman 2 reviews.

The beloved actor has been cast by Marvel as Ant-Man!

The superhero-based blockbuster will be released on July 31, 2015 and directed by Edgar Wright. It will focus on a character's discovery of a size-altering formula and his subsequent ability to control insects.

“When Edgar Wright came to us with the idea of Paul Rudd, we felt a huge sense of relief because the first step in creating any Marvel Studios film is finding the right star,” Marvel studio head Kevin Feige said in a statement.

Note to Bruce Willis: This is how you do a movie interview.

In a Q&A with Vulture this week, Paul Rudd was asked about his upcoming film Prince Avalanche... only he wasn't at all. He was actually asked all about legendary recording artist Prince.

From his knowledge over famous women who dated to the singer to questions over Prince's past hits, the actor was placed on the hilarious hot seat - and played along perfectly.

How did the conversation turn to masturbation and magazine? You'll need to watch this video for the answer:

Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch star in the very twee-looking trailer for Prince Avalanche. Check it out:

Rudd plays Alvin, a man looking to escape his troubles and live in solitude. To accomplish this, he takes a summer job repainting lines on a desolate country highway ravaged by wildfire.

When his sister's boyfriend Lance, played by Hirsch, comes along, the two form an unlikely bond.

David Gordon Green directs the indie comedy, which is a remake of the 2011 Icelandic film Either Way.

Prince Avalanche will premiere August 9.

Wanderlust co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd cover GQ this month.

It's not quite as racy as the infamous Jennifer Aniston nude GQ cover from 2008, but the photos, shot by Terry Richardson, show the co-stars in some sexy poses.

Jen has no shirt on and appears to be choking Paul, for example:

Aniston also took the time to talk babies, her boyfriend (Justin Theroux) and marriage in her GQ interview. On the non-stop pregnancy rumors, she says:

“I’m not having triplets. Or twins. Nor am I having one baby. [lifts up sweater, gestures to flat belly] I did not elope. You heard it here. I’m not knocked up.”

As for turning 40 (she's 43 as of Saturday), the actress says she could not be happier: “Forty’s great! Oh, my God, my thirties blew! My forties are great.”

Certainly a positive attitude.
