We've never met or spoken to Nancy Shevell.

Still, the steady girlfriend of music legend Paul McCartney is one of our favorite celebrities. How come?

Because she isn't Heather Mills!

Shevell and McCartney have been dating since November 2007, as she appears to be everything Mills is not (i.e. sane).

The couple was recently spotted having dinner together in Paris. Sorry for intruding on the date, Nancy and Paul, but you guys just seem to happy together...

Celebrity gossip tabloids simply cannot get their engagement stories correct, as Great Britain's The Mirror reported this week that McCartney and Shevell were set to tie the knot.

“Nancy and Sir Paul are totally natural together and feel blessed to have found happiness,” a source told the newspaper, adding that gold digging was not a concern with Shevell, as it was with McCartney's repulsive ex-wife, Heather Mills:

“Unlike Heather, [Nancy Shevell] is a multimillionaire in her own right and therefore could never be portrayed as being interested in Sir Paul for his money. She is calm, measured, and mature, whereas Heather is fiery and impulsive."

And the anti-Christ, according to other reputable insiders.

McCartney's publicist, Paul Freundlich, has shot down any engagement rumors, however, stating: "[There's] no truth to [them.]"

Paul McCartney is finally speaking out about new love, Nancy Shevell. But just a tiny bit.

"I just like being in love," the singer told the U.K.'s Sunday Times.

Meanwhile, Shevell -  an American businesswoman, who appears to be the antithesis to Heather Mills - says she isn't stressed by her boyfriend's iconic status.

"I'm a cancer survivor, I run a trucking company and I've got a 16-year-old to raise," Shevell said "That's stress."

Nancy Shevell is the opposite of Paul McCartney's ex-wife, Heather Mills. In other words, she has a soul.

Paul McCartney has asked his new, better girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, to move in with him at the East Sussex home he bought as wedding gift for first wife Linda in 1969.

While the couple isn't engaged yet, a source told Great Britain's The Sun that life could not be better for the singer and his love.

“Paul and Nancy are as solid a couple as you can get after just a short time together," the source said about the couple, which has been dating for five months. "It made sense to him just to ask her to move in. She’ll still travel between here and America, but is setting up home with Paul."

After spending years with Heather Mills, Paul McCartney is used to watching his back.

It also helps, this friend added, that Shevell is well-liked by Paul's young daughter.

“He asked Beatrice if she liked Nancy and got a resounding ‘Yes’, which meant the world to him.”

Heather Mills is a coniving gold digger with one leg.

We doubt ex-husband Paul McCartney would disagree with that assessment, but the singer has a unique way of showing it.

The former Beatle has penned a new song, dedicated to Mills and containing lyrics such as:

I long to know all your secrets, I want to walk through your fire. Light up my eyes with your smile.

I was awakened by magic. I was alone in the world. Take me away form here.

We could climb every mountain, swim through every sea. When all the world is asleep we could set ourselves free.

The track will be released in October.

Paul McCartney has moved on from Heather Mills to Nancy Shevell.

“Paul has done a track about how he feels about Heather and what was going on with the paparazzi because no one has heard his side of it at all - so this will be the first time anyone hears a song relating to that subject," composer and performer Nitin Sawhney told The Daily Telegraph.

McCartney is more generous than we are. We'd have gone with lyrics such as:

"You made me scream and beg. How do you sleep, Peg Leg?

The UK's Daily Mail is reporting that Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell are still going strong, recently vacationing in the Caribbean.

The British paper says Sir Paul jetted off on a romantic rendezvous with Shevell just a week after his divorce from his one-legged gold digger ex-wife was finalized. The two have enjoyed secret liaisons since October, as they kissed, held hands and took a romantic sunset stroll along a beach in Antigua over the weekend.

This photo may be a bit grainy, but trust us: that's Nancy Shevell and Paul McCartney, enjoying a well-deserved vacation in Antigua.

McCartney and Shevell have been spotted riding bikes around the island, smooching and giggling like teenagers.

"Everyone on the beach could see they only had eyes for each other," said a witness. "He is a good few years older than her but looking good and can clearly still impress the ladies. They seemed so happy and relaxed in each other's company, as though they've been together for years."

Heather Mills is standing tall.

Well, as tall as one can stand with a fake leg.

The evil ex-wife of Paul McCartney has declared herself "so, so happy" with her nearly $50 million divorce settlement from the singing legend, an amount that was finalized this morning in London.

There was actually a time when Paul McCartney and Heather Mills were happy and... ah, who are we kidding? She was always after his money.

Despite receiving an enormous sum for being nothing but a spoiled ball and chain, Mills stood on the courthouse steps and could not let the issue slide.

"I am standing here because Paul is insistent on the whole judgment being put out. I've said that if the whole judgment goes out then all the transcripts have to go out because it's going to be written in a way that they will try and make it that I wasn't successful," she said.

Let is now be known: Heather Mills is a successful gold digger!

This piece of celebrity gossip can now be classified as "celebrity fact."

Paul McCartney and Rosanna Arquette "are spending more time together," according to Alexis Arquette. She said as much to People magazine at the TV Academy's annual Ribbon of Hope AIDS charity event in L.A. on Saturday.

Last week, the two made news when a British tabloid photographed them taking an intimate stroll through London's Hampstead Heath.

Now - despite earlier reports linking Sir Paul with Nancy Shevell - McCartney and Arquette are "good friends," according to Arquette's rep; they share a love of music.

"[Rosanna] interviewed him for a documentary that she did on Rock and Roll," said Alexis. "She's been a big fan of his music for a long time, and I know that they befriended each other several years ago. "

He added: "Who knows, if something came out of it, that's cool, it's great."

Paul McCartney is a tru playa, yo. 4 realz.

Mere weeks after canoodling with Nancy Shevell, the most famous member of The Beatles is reportedly dating a new random celebrity:

Photographs printed Sunday in Britain's News of the World show Sir Paul and actress Rosanna Arquette strolling side-by-side through the grounds of the Kenwood House, a historic Hampstead home on November 19. (The newspaper also quotes unnamed witnesses, who claim the two were kissing.)

A rep for McCartney, told People magazine "no comment" on the outing. Arquette's rep didn't immediately return calls for comment.

We've learned this isn't the first sighting of the pair, however. At the August 11 James Taylor concert at East Hampton's Ross School in New York, Arquette was seen leaning on McCartney's shoulder during "How Sweet It Is (to be Loved by You)."

It must be a nice change for Paul. His anthem with Heather Mills was closer to How Terrifying It Is (to be Gold-Dug by You)."

As if Heather Mills needed more to cry about.

Mere days after his self-pitying, one-legged ex-wife broke down on TV, Paul McCartney was seen kissing New Yorker Nancy Shevell, according to British tabloid The Sun.

McCartney and Shevell were spotted at an Amagansett sushi restaurant, Show Win, on Saturday night, and outside a Hamptons cafe Sunday morning. Sounds like they had a sleepover! Talk about a hard day's night!

Good news for Nancy Shevell: All she needs to do is look better than Heather Mills nude and McCartney will be impressed. Can't be too difficult to pull off.

Shevell is a member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority board and is legally separated from Bruce Blakeman, a commissioner of the Port Authority and former presiding officer of the Nassau County Legislature.

"At one point," The Sun reported, "[McCartney] put his arm around Nancy after he drove her home - and they kissed tenderly."

All of a sudden, the Sophia Bush/Tony Romo and Sabrina Bryan/Mark Ballas romances seem like back page fodder. Sir Paul is in love!
