When Colin told his mom Jennifer that he had nobody to invite to his 11th birthday party, Jennifer made her mission to show him that he is not alone.

Colin, who has a sensory processing disorder similar to Autism and Asperger's, said he didn't want to have a birthday party because he doesn't have any friends.

Jennifer wanted to do something special for Colin by creating a Facebook page where people could post birthday messages for her him.

A move she hoped would be a "great surprise" turned out to be even bigger than she imagined.

The page received over 8,000 likes and tons of birthday greetings from all over the world in the span of one week.

"He's gonna have a lot of friends after this. They may not live by him, but he's going to have a lot of friends," Jennifer says.

Colin will get to see the page on his birthday, March 9th.

Even the best parents have bad days.

But one dad on Reddit acknowledges that he gets "almost nothing" out of being a father and if he could go back in time he wouldn't have children at all.

Lucky for his kids (I guess?), he posted his rant anonymously on Reddit, so his kids may never figure out that their dad thinks of them as huge mistakes. The production company Gotta Kid to Feed had an actor do a dramatic reading - sort of an overly dramatic reading complete with extra sad music - of Anonymous Dad's confession:

Besides this rant, he sounds like an average guy in his 30's and reports he has a good relationship with his wife and his three kids under the age of 5 have no major problems.

But his list of things he hates is pretty extensive:

Amanda Bynes is making progress each and every day, and her mom Lynn as been praised by the judge overseeing her case for helping facilitate that.

Lynn Bynes became conservator during the troubled star's darkest hours after she started a fire in a neighbor's driveway and soaked her dog in gasoline.

Amanda Bynes was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, spending three months receiving in-patient treatment for her obvious, severe mental issues.

She's been released into her parents' care, however, and apparently it's going well there, as evidenced by Lynn and Rick Bynes' appearance in court Tuesday.

Lynn was appointed conservator of Amanda's estate, making her the shot-caller when it comes to her health care, finances and overall well being.

Britney Spears' father, Jamie, was famously appointed to this same role following her meltdown in 2007-08, and the pop icon really turned things around.

Teen Mom stars Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans are continuing their epic war of words, with the former hitting back at the latter hard this time around.

Jenelle, who is expecting her second child with baby daddy Nathan Griffith, recently called out porn star Farrah for living a lie and pawning off her kid.

Now the Farrah 2: Backdoor and More sex tape star is retaliating once more.

Jenelle and Farrah

“I don’t even know Jenelle, but I will say that this girl is obsessed with being negative towards me. I have no patience for it,” Abraham told Radar.

“I’m a grown adult, and a great mother. Maybe she should just take notes.”

This latest spat began when Abraham weighed in on Evans’ parenting style, or lack thereof. She's pregnant, but doesn't have custody of her first baby.

A photo of a woman breastfeeding a puppy (yes, a puppy) is circulating on the Internet, leading many to wonder how in the world that came to be.

"I just did it. I never thought I would do that. That's just something it was taboo to me as well," she said. "I guess you could call it a maternal instinct."

The foster mom chose not to be identified because she says she fears the backlash from that maternal instinct. But the photo has quickly gone viral.

It was the runt of the litter, in any case, just days old. A lab mix, whose mother was killed. The little dog wouldn't eat from the bottle, nor eat formula.

"He just wasn't taking it. I didn't know what else to do, I was desperate and I just couldn't bear sitting there, watching him die," the woman said.

"Literally what clicked in my head was like put him on you, just pray to god he will take something and not die," she said, and Tubbs did just that.

Sexting isn't just a bad idea, it can also land you in jail.

After receiving an anonymous tip of nude photos posted on a Twitter account, the James City County Police Department in Virginia has charged a 16 year old girl with one count of distributing child pornography... for pictures she took of herself.

The nude selfies were shared on Twitter as well as sent to some boys. Police say the lewdness of the photos crossed the line from sexting to child pornography.

The teen and her mother could be forced to complete a Sexting Education class as well as facing jail time.

Anyone who has the photos and shares them with friends could potentially be charged with distribution of child pornography.

The girl's phone was confiscated as part of the investigation, which might be the only part of this story that doesn't leave me shaking my head.

Check out some selfies that are less likely to land people in jail...

Farrah Abraham recently made some harsh comments about Jenelle Evans' pregnancy, and now the latter is responding in this ongoing Teen Mom feud.

Though she claims she "wasn't judging," she basically said that Jenelle, who doesn't have custody of her son Jace, is in no position to be preg again.

A lot of us have at least thought that, even if you're Team Jenelle and think she's pulling it together. But coming from Farrah? Oh it's ON now!

Regardless of your take on the Farrah Abraham sex tape sequel that's due out next week, she may not be in a place to talk, as Jenelle notes.

Evans' response to Abraham's criticism:

"She is speaking out on her opinion of my life, my decision to have another child. My advice is that Farrah should get her own house in order, before giving out advice."

Little kids are the best. Today's evidence of this proven fact? A list of 30 "boyfriend rules" written by sisters Blaire and Brooke, ages six and nine respectively:

Best Friends Forever
If the Jenner sisters had kicked Selena Gomez in the face, maybe they'd still be BFFs.

There is no boyfriend in the picture, specifically. But Blaire's mom says she is "absolutely boy crazy" and thinks of Justin Bieber as her future boyfriend.

We'll forgive Blaire that, assuming she hasn't seen those Justin Bieber stripper photos. Her older sister, however, sees the writing on the wall with Justin.

She says Blaire's future beau "should be someone better than Bieber and not always getting in trouble." Hence, they came up with this list. Pretty great.

Gotta give the girls credit for cutting to the case. Who needs cheesy love notes and romantic overtures? Just get right to the dos and don'ts of dating.

They're already looking long-term, too. "Not living with parents," a.k.a. rule #4, would eliminate all of Blaire's current peers, as would #29 on the list.

Liking what you do for a living is important, though. Seven spots below not having a weird last name, but important just the less. No doubt about it.

Remember this video of a baby crying while hearing his mother's beautiful singing voice?

A four-year old boy named Jackson knows how his fellow tyke feels.

Jackson's father, Mark, has posted a video of the toddler sitting in his car seat and totally losing it while A Great Big World's "Say Something" plays on the radio.

“Is it a sad song?” Mark asks, to which Jackson simply nods with his eyes shut tightly.

Don't worry, though, Jackson gives a thumbs-up when prompted in order to prove that he's doing okay. Watch the adorable footage now:

Kids. They're the best, but anyone who has them knows how unpredictable and emotional they can become at a moment's notice and for no reason.

No reason from an adult's perspective, that is. To toddlers everywhere, life is one giant meltdown waiting to happen. All we can do sometimes is laugh.

A Tumblr dedicated to one boy's meltdowns, titled "The Reasons My Son Is Crying," seeks to do just that with a photo series of ... well, the title says it all.

Its creator and young Charlie's dad, Greg Pembroke, shares his own experiences and user-submitted pics of those commiserating with the joys of parenting.

Scroll through 25 of the best/worst/most random meltdown scenarios below and see how many of them you can relate to ... or at least get a chuckle at:
