Ready to be AWWW-inspired, readers?

The Daily Mail helped the following 2012 video go viral this week after re-posting it online and giving readers an opportunity to debate:

Is this two-month old really telling her dad that she loves him?!?

"Here is a video I recorded of my 2 month old daughter trying to copy the words her father is saying to her," wrote the YouTube user who uploaded the clip. "At the end, she says 'I love you.'"

Does she really? Watch and decide!

Tough call, we know. But CUTE!

Are you listening, Gwyneth Paltrow?

Angelina Jolie has a message to send you and any other wealthy mother who dares to complain about parenthood: SHUT UP!

A few weeks after Paltrow said it's much harder for her to be a mother than it is for someone who only works 9-5 (due to busy shooting schedules, which she's apparently obligated to take on), Jolie said the opposite in an interview with The New York Daily News.

Angie and Brad

"I’m not a single mom with two jobs trying to get by every day," the Maleficent star told the newspaper. "I have much more support than most people, most women in this world. And I have the financial means to have a home and health care and food."

Jolie, of course, never actually referenced Paltrow in the discussion.

Jada Pinkett-Smith may think there's no cause to be concerned about the photo of her daughter Willow Smith in bed with Moises Arias, a 20-year-old actor and friend of the family, but the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services reportedly begs to differ.

A source tells Radar Online that Child Protective Services is investigating the Smith family in connection with the controversial photo that leaked online earlier this month.

"The investigation was formally opened last week and is being taken very seriously by the department," says the insider.

"Will and Jada have been extremely cooperative with officials. Of course, they aren't happy that their parenting skills are under scrutiny, but they understand."

The source adds that both Willow and Arias will be interviewed by the authorities:

A shocking video of Ohio kindergarten teacher Barb Williams picking a student up by his shirt and slamming him against a wall has gone viral this week.

Not surprisingly, it has enraged many parents - particularly Autumn and Anthony Nelson, whose 6-year-old son Ian is seen in the clip with Williams ...

This video is almost hard to stomach as it begins with Ian walking to the bathroom alone. When he leaves the bathroom, Williams is waiting for him in the hall.

There is no sound, but she is PISSED, picking him up by his shirt and slamming him against the wall not once, but twice with no hero cat - or other adult - in sight.

All kidding aside, it gets even worse. One moment also shows her grabbing the boy by the face and tilting his head back in a borderline scary scene.

Sorry, Kim Kardashian. But Sarah Thislethwaite had a better Mother's Day than you did.

The Akron, Ohio resident gave birth via C-section on Friday to a pair of monoamniotic (or "mono mono") twins, meaning the babies shared the same amniotic sac and placenta during their time in the womb.

When they finally entered the world, Jillian and Jenna were separated for a minute or so - but then held hands upon being placed side by side, a breathtaking moment actually captured on camera and posted to Twitter:

Mono Mono Twins

At first, the twins were having trouble breathing on their own and were placed on ventilators.

But they were finally able to be held by Mom yesterday, resulting in "the best Mother's Day present ever," as Sarah told NBC News.

Ah, moms. Givers of life. Wipers of noses. Kissers of boo-boos. Today is your day. Happy Mother's Day!

It's your day to be pampered and praised with flowers, breakfast in bed, and most importantly ... NO CLEANING!

Okay, so for some moms, that sort of thing might happen every day. Like the celebrity moms who have live-in nannies and chefs and housekeepers and stylists on call and personal assistants to keep all those appointments straight.

But having all that help doesn't make them any less of a mom than the moms who don't have those things, so today we celebrate them, too.

From Beyonce to Gisele, here are 15 celebrity moms we love!

Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera has two kids. She gave birth to her second in August 2014.

And on the flip side of the Mother's Day coin ... here are some celebrity moms who might want to read a parenting manual. Just saying ...

It's Mother's Day! While some moms will receive coffee mugs and other kitsch today, others have received something a little more...glamorous:

Celebrity status thanks to giving birth to some of the biggest stars of the silver screen.  (That sort of makes motherhood a tall order for the rest of us.)

Some of Hollywood's unattached stars, like Jared Leto and once-upon-a-time Justin Timberlake, are so proud of their moms they bring them as dates on the red carpet, which is probably better for their careers than "I <3 Mom" tattoos. Others, like Jennifer Lawrence, make red carpet events a family affair and bring the whole brood.

HOW SWEET!

Take a look at 9 celebrities and their moms and then go wish your own a Happy Mother's Day. After all, you're totally a celebrity to her.

Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson
They might look a little more like sisters (thanks to plastic surgery), but Goldie Hawn and daughter Kate Hudson make one dynamic duo.

Gwyneth Paltrow wants to put an end to the "mommy wars."

In a journal entry on her website Goop, the consciously uncoupled actress is clearing up and defending her recent comments about working women.

The mom of two stirred up some pretty significant outrage when she insinuated that raising her family in Hollywood was harder than for your average parent.

She explains her remarks, and the ensuing furor, as such:

"A few weeks ago during an interview, I was asked why I have only worked on one film a year since having children. My answer was this," Paltrow said.

"Film work takes one away from home and requires 12-14 hours a day, making it difficult to be the one to make the kids lunch, drive them to school, and put them to bed."

"So I have found it easier on my family life to make a film the exception, and my 9-5 job the rule. This somehow was taken to mean I had said a 9-5 job is easier."

Don't worry, readers.

No way does the premise of the following video apply to your mother.

Your mother is clearly a saint. Your mother never did any drugs or slept with anyone except your father. Your mother never swam naked.

But, with Mother's Day on the horizon, Jimmy Kimmel Live tracked down a handful of parents last night and asked them to reveal a number of secret about themselves.

The results were horrifying... to their children. But hilarious to us!

We now adore these moms.

Moms. Texting.

They go together like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Chris Brown and peaceful conflict resolution. Lindsay Lohan and sobriety. Kim Kardashian and privacy.

They're just not a terrific fit is what we're saying. We love moms, and we love texting, but certain things are simply not greater than the sum of their parts.

Well, except when it comes to unintentional comedy. You could make a strong case that moms and texting make for an amazing combination in that respect.

Case in point:

Epic Mom Texting Fail

To be fair, we've all been done in by auto-correct a time or 10. The end really solidifies this text exchange's place in the viral history books, though.

Classic mom.

Where does this rank among all-time bungled communications by parents trying to use phones? You be the judge. See other vintage mom texting fails below ...
