A Florida mom's Facebook status didn't go over so well with her son's preschool. In fact, it got the kid straight up expelled from Sonshine Christian Academy.

Ashley Habat was upset that the school didn't give her enough notice about picture day. She ranted about this in a private post ... but still tagged the school.

In the post in question, Habat asked:

“Why is it that every single day there is something new I dislike about Will's School? Are my standards really too high or are people working in the education field really just that ignorant.”

The next day she was reportedly told by school administrators that the school wouldn't be a good fit for her son, according to Jacksonville's WJXT-TV.

There are certain responses parents hope for when delivering news of a pregnancy to their children.

Perhaps a few tears of joy? Or an excited expression of gratitude? Pretty much anything except how the boy in the following video reacts.

Sitting alongside a young sibling, the child is VERY disturbed by his mom's news. He's stunned, he's angry, he can't comprehend why she would do this.

"This is exasperating," the boy hilariously says at one point, ending his rant by asking his mother to buy him ear plugs for the impending child.

It's an amazing piece of footage and you need to stop whatever you are currently doing to watch:

Driving along on a typical day recently, a dad noticed a lot of movement in his rear view mirror. Something caught his eye that was unusual and alarming.

An accident? A weather hazard? A motorist driving dangerously?

No, no, no. He realized that his daughter was in the middle of an epic photo shoot of her own creation, mugging for selfies like it was her job in back.

After watching and laughing silently for a minute or so, he realized that for her sake and ours, he needed to immortalize this moment for all eternity.

And that is what he did, later sharing it on YouTube in all its glory.

The main takeaway here is that parents no longer need to regale people with embarrassing stories about their kids. Just document their normal behavior.

"Read to your children," they said!

"It's good for them," they said!

And then you went to the bookstore and there, on the shelf, were children's books titled You Can't Be an Astronaut and Who Cares About the Elderly?

Yes, those are some of the shockingly and hilariously real titles we discovered when researching books you can actually buy for your little ones:

Aiming Low
Meh, you don't need to be an astronaut when you grow up, kid! You can be a garbage man instead.

So those are probably NOT the books you'd want to buy and read to your young ones when given a choice. Probably. Go the F--k to Sleep, however...

Bad ideas for children's books abound, it seems, as do lines of literature that, when lacking context, sound more than a little like porn than they should.

What are we REALLY teaching our kids there, Dick? Huh?

Dear Celebrity Parents, don't read these 41 amusing, but inappropriate children's books to your kids, okay? Looking at you, Kim Kardashian. Looking at you.

If there's one good thing about living in the digital age - where every single moment of our lives can be documented on Facebook and Instagram for the world to see - it's that we have the power to delete terrible photos instantly!

In Ye Olden Days of Photography, such was not the case - and there are more than a million awkward and ill-timed photos to pay homage to the decades where pics were taken with film and no one was quite sure what the image would look like until it was developed and way, way too late.

Thumbs Up!
We approve of this awkward school photo gallery, too.

Hence, terrible school photos forever capturing childhood and adolescence were born. The only way to get rid of them is to burn them, and we're pretty sure that's what a lot of these people wanted to do.

Actually, we're pretty sure a lot of people were proud of these photos at the time they were taken, and we can't quite decide if that's a good thing (yay self-esteem!) or a bad thing (boooo delusional people!).

So you decide. Take a look at the 35 most awkward school photos EVER in the gallery above, and know two things:

  1. Your photos probably AREN'T as bad as this.
  2. EVERYBODY had an awkward phase.

Just in case awkward school photos weren't enough humiliation, some parents actually went all the way and included everyone in these awkward family photos:

As re-enacted in a recent episode of “Untold Stories of the ER,” a Florida woman recently fed her daughter a bunch of tapeworms in order to help the teen lose weight for a beauty pageant.

Maricar Cabral-Osori, the child’s ER nurse, relayed the disgusting story to Discovery Health, telling the network that the unnamed teen “pooped all these tapeworms” out in the hospital after complaining of stomach cramps.

“There were a couple that were very long and wiggling around trying to get out of the toilet bowl,” Cabral-Osori added, ensuring we lose our appetite for the rest of the day.

Really Blowing It
Someone needs to swallow hard and tell this mother what she's doing wrong.

Cabral-Osori said the mother did at least turn pale and embarrassed when she saw what her daughter passed.

Wyatt Neumann is a photographer and a single father.

Earlier this year, he took pictures of his two-year-old daughter, Stella, during a cross-country road trip, snapping shots of the toddler in two of her favorite outfits: a princess dress and her birthday suit.

The Internet then did what the Internet does, as numerous social media members slammed Neumann as “sick” and perverse” for featuring his child in “pornographic" poses.

However, like the mother who responded proudly to criticism over her stretch marks, Neumann has fought back against the haters.

He has created an exhibition (titled “I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR CHILDREN –- The Sexualization of Innocence in America”) that examines the attacks and which is meant to defend photos he considers “beautiful.”

"My kids have a whole lifetime of having body shame issues," Neumann tells The Huffington Post. "My daughter is going to have years of feeling not pretty. I want my children to have a solid foundation of self-confidence and self-worth."

Here is a look at some of Neumann's striking shots, juxtaposed with negative comments by anonymous Internet users. What do you think?

Inappropriate or Artistic?
"This man is a sick f-ck. Why in the world would you do this to your child? Great job, Wyatt Neumann. That poor little girl…" -Ships Go Overboard aka It Burns, April 26, 2014 6:23pm.

19 Kids and Counting star Jill Duggar is pregnant with her first child, wasting little time with her new husband Derick Dillard. Seriously. They wed on June 21!

The religious couple famously saved their first kiss EVER for that day, in accordance with their beliefs. Clearly, they figured out the rest in short order.

From the moment they were introduced by her father Jim Bob, Derick 25, and Jill, 23, felt a connection that grew quickly and powerfully. The rest is history.

Their love story, thanks to their TLC show and the smitten couple's own postings on Instagram, is one that we've been able to follow every step of the way.

What a wonderful trip it's been to join in on, too.

Here, we look back at the Arkansas duo's journey, from that first time on Skype to their first meeting in Nepal, their magical road to the altar and soon, family:

Their First Meeting (Sort Of)!
The Arkansas natives grew up within 45 minutes of each other, but didn't meet until late 2011. Jill recalled when Derick stopped by while caroling with a church group, and not long after, "Derick contacted my dad and asked if he would be a prayer partner during his two-year term in Nepal."

Some parents may fail miserably at text messaging.

But others succeed at apologizing to their son's girlfriend after their security cameras caught her dry humping their child behind the sofa in the living room.

Yes, this really happened to a Reddit user named “One Skinny Mexican,” who shared his story online, along with the dessert item baked by his mom and dad.

Look what they wrote to his embarrassed girlfriend:

Parents Apologize to Dry-Humped Girlfriend of Son

The young man says that he thought he and his girlfriend were “at an angle” in which the camera would miss them, but obviously he was mistaken.

It might seem counterintuitive, but even criminals can have a heart of gold.

Megan Bratten proves as much this week when she had her car stolen from a parking lot in Independence Missouri, only to realize she left her cell phone inside the vehicle.

So the single mother (of five!) figured she had nothing to lose by texting the culprit and explaining her situation. And he sympathized with her!

"He texted me back and gave me step-by-step directions where to find the van, and I went there with my mom and my dog, and the van was there," Bratten told KCTV5.

The thief, sadly, could relate to Bratten, as he also sent the single mother a message that read:

"I do feel bad... my kids needed a meal on the table so that's what their dad did got them food. I know its wrong but it's been so hard since I lost my job."
