For the first time since becoming a first-time mother, Eva Mendes is speaking out in depth about the experience.

The actress, who gave birth to a daughter named Esmeralda in mid-September, recently sat down with online publication The Violet Files and didn't bring up the topic of her famous baby daddy, Ryan Gosling.

But Mendes did speak on the overall struggles of caring for a tiny person's life at all times.

Eva Mendes for The Violet Files

"I'm completely exhausted," the star said, joking: "I thought my wild nights were over but these are some of the wildest nights I've ever had."

Mendes said she is yet to hire a nanny because she believes “part of being a mother” is going through the “struggle of not being able to sleep and not knowing what I’m doing and really going through it with her and battling out those nights."

The Holderness Family is back. And more hilarious than ever!

The same parents and children who brought you Christmas Jammies about a year ago has returned with their own take on Meghan Trainor's smash hit, "All About That Bass."

Only this one is titled "All About That Baste" and it's an ode to Thanksgiving and it features such lyrics as how the father is bringing "butter back" and how he keeps putting "all the wrong forks in all the wrong places."

And it's simply amazing.

Trainor hit has also spawned a Justin Bieber remix and this video of an 11-year old showing off some serious dance moves to the single.

Adrian Peterson says he has realized the error of his ways and will no longer use a switch to discipline his kids, although critics say it's too little, too late.

In a new interview with USA Today, he says he understands why people are upset by Peterson whooping his son with a switch and vows not to do so again.

Having just been suspended by the NFL for the rest of the season following his child abuse plea bargain, the all-star running back is very, very sorry.

"There's different situations where a child needs to be disciplined as far as timeout, taking their toys away, making them take a nap," says the former MVP.

"There's so many different ways to discipline your kids. No one knows how I felt when I turned my child around after spanking him and seeing what I had left on his leg."

"No one knows that dad sat there and apologized to him, hugged him and told him that I didn't mean to do this to you and how sorry I was," Peterson says.

"Like I said after I took the misdemeanor plea, I take full responsibility for my actions. I regret the situation. I love my son more than any one of you could even imagine."

When the now-famous Kim Kardashian nude Paper magazine photos first hit the web, public opinion was decidedly split.

While the Sir Mix-A-Lots of the world found no cause for complaint, other, more reserved types stated their belief that Kim was setting a bad example for young girls, her own daughter included.

Kim Kardashian and Daughter North

Glee star Naya Rivera slammed Kim online, commenting, "You're somebody's mother," on one of the pics.

While rumors that Kim wanted to pose nude before she gets pregnant again continue to circulate, until very recently, Mrs. Kardashian-West had not spoken out about the relationship between her roles as nude icon and married mom.

Yesterday, Kim was asked in an Australian radio interview how she would feel if her 1-year-old daughter, North West, decided to pose nude in 20 years. Her response is sure to piss off plenty of Kardashian kritics:

Reports of Kate Gosselin being a terrible mom and person are a dime a dozen, but she's putting her kids in physical danger, according to a new rumor.

Kate recently tweeted proof she is ignoring the safety warnings on the John Deere Gator she purchased, and allowing her kids to drive the adult ATV.

The Worst Mom of All Time

Gosselin told her 219,000 Twitter followers Sunday that her 14-year-old daughter, Mady, “drove our gator on a neighbor’s driveway - 2get chicken food!"

"Let’s just say, I’m NOT going to make a good driving teacher.”

Kate was referring to a John Deere Gator 4×2 Electric tractor that she gifted to her eight children during the June 26 finale of Kate Plus 8: The Sextuplets Turn 1.

John Deere warns to “never allow a Gator to be operated by anyone younger than 16 years old,” with a label citing the potential risk of “death” with misuse.

At 14, Mady is ... not 16. What more can you say about it?

We've already heard about some of the insane choices that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have made with regard to raising their daughter:

North West wears $50,000 earrings and is already an integral part of "the first family of fashion."

She painted a $10,000 Birkin bag for Kim's birthday, and the Wests already make lil Nori sit through runway shows that would bore most adults to tears.

Kim, Kanye and North in Paris

Ironically, the celeb world's most immature couple wants their daughter to reach adulthood yesterday, so that she can hurry up and become the world's most respected fashion model/do-nothing reality star.

It's fine to have goals for your kids at any age (although Kimye's seem oddly specific), but if the latest report from OK! magazine is to be believed, Kim and Yeezy might be going too far to ensure their little girl grows up runway-ready:

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were accused this morning of mistreating Theron's 2-year-old son, Jackson, by a bystander who overheard the child screaming.

They were quickly cleared of any wrongdoing, however.

The famous couple was hiking in Southern California's Vasquez Rocks when another hiker called the police, believing that Jackson had been physically punished.

The unidentified witness reportedly attempted to film Theron and Penn's actions, but was quickly confronted by Charlize.

Police arrived on the scene and determined that Theron and Penn were not guilty of any wrongdoing and that Jackson was merely reacting to a standard "timeout" punishment.

Theron adopted Jackson in 2012. It's her first child, and her parenting skills have been universally praised by those in her inner circle.

Ready to weigh in on another case of controversial parental punishment?

Over the past year or so, we've documented stories of a mother and a father who shamed their daughter by making her hold a humiliating sign... a girl who was forced to wear heinous clothing because she acted as a bully... and a mom who took away her daughter's One Direction tickets. Ouch!

Now, Kevin Jones - a Kentucky-based rapper who goes by the stage name Big 7ven - has shared a photo set of his 10-year-old daughter on Facebook.

  • 10-year old girl
  • 5th grader shirt

The father wrote that he had caught his child dating a boy, sneaking out of the house and lying about her age. In response, Jones punished his daughter by making her wear the T-shirt above.

It reads "I Am 10 Years Old" on the front and "5th Grader" on the back.

Jimmy Kimmel Live is continuing the best annual Halloween tradition in all the land.

No, not women dressing as skanks on October 31 every year.

Instead, for the third year in a row, the talk show has asked parents around the country to tell their children that they consumed all of their Halloween candy... and then to film the subsequent reaction.

The segment is aptly titled "Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy" and it's a must-watch.
