Six weeks after announcing her separation from Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, Kate Hudson is ready to make the split stick.

"She is filing for divorce imminently," a friend tells Us Weekly.

A major motivation: You, Me and Dupree co-star Owen Wilson.

"As soon as she files, it relieves a lot of the pressure of going out with Owen," says a friend of the actress, who has been getting busy with Wilson over romantic dinners, soccer games and a trip to Hawaii recently.

The actor "makes Kate laugh," says a source. "She's much more true to herself when she's with Owen."

The possibly anorexic Hudson is still in contact with Robinson about their son, Ryder, 2.

A representative for Mr. Wilson declined to offer any remarks (or Wedding Crashers quotes) regarding his client. Sad. We'd love to hear Owen's take on being a home-wrecker.

The secret is finally, almost, ohsoclosetobeing out: Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are a couple. Or they're at least having a fun time together these days.

Hudson, who separated from Chris Robinson in August, and Wilson are keeping a relatively low profile â€" but can't hide their feelings any longer from the public eye, People magazine reports in its new issue.

On Sunday, for example, Wilson visited Hudson and pals at her Pacific Palisades residence. Later that evening, the two shared a patio booth at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel, where they ordered drinks and, at one point, requested that a bamboo divider be placed around their table for privacy.

Got that, Kate Moss and Pete Doherty? It's called privacy.

The You, Me and Dupree stars had also been spotted the week before in Hawaii, where Hudson, 27, was vacationing with son Ryder, 2. Wilson, stayed at a home nearby, not wanting to traumatize the child, we hope and assume.

"The chemistry between (Hudson and Wilson), the electricity, was palpable," an onlooker told the magazine. "They really looked into each other, despite the fact that they were among other people."

Really? Come on. We don't doubt that this relationship may be enjoyable, but how profound can Owen Wilson be? Go back and read a few Wedding Crashers quotes. The guy is just good for an occasional laugh.

And romp in the sack, evidently.

Forgive us, but it's impossible to take Owen Wilson seriously. We can't say for sure if he's snogging You, Me and Dupree co-star, Kate Hudson.

But we can confirm that the silly dude makes us laugh.

Wilson has finally broken his silence over the rumors, however, that Hudson ditched Chris Robinson for his dented nose and humorous ways.

"I'm single despite what people say. I think hopefully that I'll meet someone that I'll want to have a family with, that's what I would like," Owen said.

If that doesn't work, though, Wilson will probably make up some fake names and see if that Wedding Crashers thing really works.

Meanwhile, a source has the following to say about Hudson and Robinson:

"They never really split. They love each other - Chris can be sarcastic and biting, but not with her."

Biting? That does sound like something the porn-riffic pair would be into.

Monday, Kate Hudson announced that she was separating from Chris Robinson, her husband since 2002. Although the actress and the Black Crowes frontman were rumored to have been on rocky terrain for quite a while, Us Weekly reports that Hudson's blossoming relationship with Owen Wilson, 37, was the main reason for the split.

NOTE: A rep for Hudson had no comment.

NOTE: A lawyer for Wilson told Us in a statement, "[Anything] that suggests that the separation of Ms. Hudson was caused by Mr. Wilson is absolutely false."

Meanwhile, sources say the You, Me and Dupree co-stars have been hanging at Wilson's Santa Monica, Calif., pad a lot in the last few weeks. A source dished that this is not a fling, and that Kate is crazy about him!

"This is not a fling. Kate is crazy about him," the source said. "Owen gives her so much attention, and she loves it. That's why she wants her marriage to be over."

Three days before the split, a Wilson source (probably not the aforementioned, surly lawyer) was singing a similar tune.

"Owen is not-so-secretly hoping she will leave Chris so they wouldn't have to hide. He is falling for her," he/she said.
