Actor Orlando Bloom apparently had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry in his Hollywood Hills home. Had, in the past tense. It's not there now.

Law enforcement sources say thieves entered Bloom's house though a window and made off with about $500,000 in jewelry, including two expensive watches.

Very expensive watches.

Cops have fingerprinted and photographed the scene. So far, no suspects have been investigated or charged. They may want to question Lindsay Lohan ASAP.

Bloom was in New York City at the time. A neighbor who lives directly across from Bloom was awoken at around 2 a.m. by "a tremendous amount of noise."

Law enforcement sources are saying this morning that it does not look like "a typical burglary." They won't say conclusively if it looks like an inside job.

Fortunately for Orlando, he still gets to ransack Miranda Kerr's booty.

There's something new adorning the Aussie supermodel's left ring finger – and it looks remarkably like an engagement ring, according to photos.

Could her longtime lover, Orlando Bloom, have proposed at last?

Last November, Kerr's rep vehemently denied news reports that Kerr was engaged to the Pirates of the Caribbean star. This time? No denial.

No confirmation, either. Simply no comment.

"I am aware of the images. However, I am not in position to comment," her rep, Carlii Lyon, told People. Bloom's rep has not been reached for comment.

What is known: Miranda Kerr, 26, did fly into Cannes to be with Bloom, 32, for one night before turning around and going right back to New York for work - prompting some observers to wonder if a proposal took place in the South of France.

According to reports, Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom recently and secretly proposed to his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend Miranda Kerr.

Supposedly they are planning to walk down the aisle in late 2009.

“They are talking about getting married in a year. They have had a crazy year, but they love each other and she wants to be his wife,” reports Metro (UK).

KERRBLOOM: Orlando Bloom already sees Miranda Kerr nude on a regular basis. But he's got to tie the knot with her so we can immortalize their couple nickname.

If this is true, we wish them the best, although we are somewhat skeptical that fewer celebrity gossip sites haven't reported it. Then again, Orlando Bloom just isn't that interesting. Sorry, ladies. He's hot, sure. But besides that, what's to say?

No word on whether Miranda Kerr has been called very "uncool" by Kate Bosworth. Or whether Kate Bosworth is so sick over this news that she's stopped eating.

They were spotted canoodling at two clubs in NYC. Davis and Miranda Kerr were “full on making out” says a witness. The pair was also spotted kissing at Beatrice Inn later that night, and “They didn’t seem to care who saw.”

While a rep for Miranda Kerr denies she has split with Orlando Bloom, she was overheard telling Brandon Davis about the breakup.

“Miranda always seems to go to Brandon when she has a fight with Orlando,” the insider says. “He’s her rebound guy.”

There's little doubt at this point that Orlando Bloom has seen Miranda Kerr nude.

The couple was recently outed when the two hotties were spotted on a PDA-filled date at New York's Max Brenner restaurant, as they "were just being playful and kissing and hugging," said a witness.

The LAPD is investigating a weekend car crash involving Orlando Bloom, and cops are still looking at the possibility that he acted illegally.

The accident occurred just after 2:00 AM Friday, after Orlando Bloom left a Hollywood club. The woman in the back seat, prominent fashion stylist Cher Coulter, suffered a fractured neck in the crash.

Just minutes after leaving the club, Orlando smashed into a parked Porsche, then began walking away from the scene. But X17 has this video of paparazzi members urging Bloom to return, which he eventually did.

As to why the police did not administer a field sobriety test to the Lord of the Rings star, one detective says that even if an officer saw "minor objective symptoms" of intoxication, it's still a subjective judgment call.

Detectives say Orlando Bloom has been interviewed by cops, and he said an SUV with celebrity news reporters cut him off and caused the crash. The LAPD is investigating that claim as well, and the investigation is open and active.
