Moreover, the tabloid's claim that Nicole Richie packed her bags after a bitter fight with Joel Madden and left him with their daughter in tow is undercut within the article ... by the supposed "fact" that she returned a day after the supposed fight.
So, if you went to investigate the accuracy of this story, you'd learn she's - lo and behold - still living there, making it hard to disprove. How convenient, Star.
This magazine cover is therefore only notable for a cute picture of Harlow Madden. Which is nice at least. Aww. Now that's one cute celebrity baby ...
The article also claims that Joel was indeed "caught" with Mischa Barton (who just broke up with Taylor Locke) ... at the same party. For shame, Joel.

On their outing yesterday, the 26-year-old Nicole Richie was accompanied by rocker fiance Joel Madden and daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, who turns four months old - how time flies - Sunday.

We've been critical of Nicole Richie in the past, but she and Joel make a really cute couple - and Harlow's one of our favorite celebrity babies!
Here's an absolute stunner. Reports from OK! Magazine that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning a summer wedding are actually not true!
"They are not even engaged," a rep for Nicole Richie said.
OK! Magazine (the same celebrity news publication that recently ran a 2003 picture of Britney Spears with its current cover story about the singer losing weight), reported online about the supposed Richie-Madden wedding.
"Invites for the blessed event are set to go out next week" and "a celebrity party planner is getting everything together for the nuptials," it said.
Nicole Richie will remain an unwed baby mama for the foreseeable future.
Alas, it turns out they are not following the lead of Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge, however, and plan to remain unwed parents for now.
Richie and Madden welcomed daughter Harlow Winter Kate in January.
Nicole Richie has been offered the lead role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, which says a lot about Chicago's standards.
Richie, 26, who welcomed daughter Harlow Madden with boyfriend Joel Madden on January 12, is undecided as to whether she'll accept.
"She is definitely interested and weighing it out with the timing of the baby," a Richie pal tells Us Weekly. "It is in the super early stages of discussions and no decision has been made yet."
"It would give her a reason to really show her talent and to stay in the new place in New York [Joel Madden] just got," the source says.
"It also shows people are really excited about Nicole right now."
Nicole has talent? People are excited by it? Where the heck have we been?
Whatever Nicole Richie's decision, this year will be big for the new mom.
"Nicole is also weighing some other amazing offers but 2008 is going to be really exciting for her," the source says. "She's just trying to work it all out and keeping Harlow in mind with everything she does, of course!"
If she turns it down, Chicago, perhaps Britney Spears is available...
