Indiana doctor George "Scott" Samson reportedly killed his new bride, Kelly Ecker Samson, at their mansion the very same night he married her.

Samson also took his own life in a stunning turn of events.

It's far from clear as to exactly what sparked the murder-suicide, but shortly after guests cleared out of their home, Kelly Ecker, 50, called 911 three times.

  1. In the first call, she screamed, "He's beating the s--t out of me!"
  2. In the second 911 call, someone answered but got disconnected.
  3. In the third, Kelly screams, "Oh my god!" and shots were fired.

Within minutes, she and her new husband were dead.

Kelly was found dead, shot twice in her 10-year-old son's bedroom. George Samson was found dead of a self-inflicted gun shot wound in the basement.

A teacher reportedly took his desire to prove a point about the risks of social media to new heights, shaming a 15-year-old student in epic fashion.

The instructor allegedly took it upon himself to cyber-stalk one particular teenage girl, find bikini pictures of her, and showing them to her classmates.

A hundred of her classmates. At a school assembly.

A Bikini Girl

That's right. A teacher went onto a student's Facebook page, grabbed a picture of her in a bikini, and then humiliated her with it in front of her peers.

The victim's mom has filed complaints. Shocking.

Her parents want justice from Eggbuckland Community College's head teacher, the board of governors, and England's Office for Standards in Education.

The mom said, "She's really upset and hurt and this has knocked her confidence, She's not the type of girl who likes attention like this ... she's a tomboy."

Brittany Maynard, who suffers from a terminal brain tumor is making headlines not because she is fighting for her life, but because she is declining to do so.

The married 29-year-old, who in April was given six months to live, plans to end her own life with medication prescribed by her doctor on November 1.

She wants to make it clear that this is not suicide, however.

Maynard will launch a campaign with the nonprofit Compassion & Choices, an end-of-life choice advocacy organization, to fight for expanding death-with-dignity laws.

"There is not a cell in my body that is suicidal or that wants to die," she says. "I want to live. I wish there was a cure for my disease but there's not."

She has a stage 4 glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor.

"My glioblastoma is going to kill me. That's out of my control," she says. "I've discussed with many experts how I would die from it, and it's a terrible, terrible way to die."

"Being able to choose to go with dignity is less terrifying."

Today's weather forecast? Surprisingly HOT AND STEAMY for October, at least in Memphis, where a local CBS Station accidentally linked to a porn site instead.

News channel WREG posted a tweet on Tuesday morning reminding viewers to "use our interactive radar to track the rain and storms," with this link, hilariously:

Rock Bone

SPOILER ALERT: That link does not go to their interactive radar.

PornHub (dot) com, for the uninitiated, puts a lot of different things on your radar. Just ask user Rockbone (possibly Rockboner) who got a nice traffic boost today.

The tweet has since been deleted by the station, and WREG has apologized, seemingly blaming a hacker for the incident in a follow-up Tweet ...

A woman in Selbyville, Delaware was arrested this week after her four-year old daughter brought 249 bags of heroin to daycare, falsely believing the packages contained candy instead of drugs.

She even passed them out to classmates.

Master Cpl. Gary E. Fournier told The News Journal last night that, fortunately, “none of the packets were opened by any of the kids,” though several students were checked out at area hospitals as a precaution.

Mom, Heroin

Ashley R. Tull was not charged for possession of the 3.735 grams of heroin, nor if she a suspected dealer.

But the 30-year old was charged Monday with maintaining a drug property and three counts of child endangering. She is now free on $6,000 secured bail.

On Friday, Ben Affleck appeared on HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher as part of the promotional campaign for his latest film, Gone Girl.

Though both are famously left-leaning in their political beliefs, Affleck and Maher got into a heated debate with regard to so-called "Islamo-Fascism," with Maher arguing that violence and contempt for other faiths are inherent to the Muslim belief system, and Affleck countering that Maher is simply prejudiced against adherents to the world's second-largest religion.

It's a thorny issue and the debate seems to have no easy answer - unless, of course, you're Bill O'Reilly.

"Maher is correct on the overall impact Islam is having on the world right now," O'Reilly said on his Fox News talk show last night. "Ben Affleck should understand that he himself would be beheaded in a heartbeat by these ISIS animals."

While it's true that ISIS has beheaded multiple American civilians and filmed the horrific acts as part of their efforts to strike fear into the hearts of world leaders, we can't help but feel that - as usual - O'Reilly has missed the point of this debate entirely.

Back in August, nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence leaked online signaling the start of a Hollywood hacking scandal that would eventually affect hundreds or actresses, models, and singers.

Lawrence sued to have the pics removed from Google, but she has not spoken publicly about the incident until today ...

Jennifer Lawrence Vanity Fair Cover Photo

While many celebs reacted instantly via social media, Lawrence - perhaps the most high-profile victim of the scandal - offered her thoughts to Vanity Fair in a remarkably candid interview that the reputable current affairs mag posted online today.

"I was just so afraid," Lawrence said. "I didn't know how this would affect my career. Just because I'm a public figure, just because I'm an actress, does not mean that I asked for this."

"It's my body and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting."

Lawrence goes on to describe the circumstances under which the photos were taken:

On Sunday in Australia, the South Sydney Rabbitohs won the National Rugby League championship, prompting Channel 9 to report live from the scene of one major victory party.

Sounds like a rollicking good time, doesn't it? You have no idea.

In the following video, an unidentified fan drops his pants in the background of reporter Tom Steinfort’s live segment, dangling his penis for all to see. For multiple seconds.

Steinfort was unaware of the X-rated incident as he reported, but later learned what went down and Tweeted an apology.

“Soooooo, the perils of live TV…..apologies for that nudity in my live cross just then,” he wrote, later joking:

“total balls up, bloke made a cock of himself, really dropped the ball… wonder if that Bunnies fan has copped a call from his mum yet?”

A Georgia man has been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after a fight with his wife ... whom he called fat. Two DAYS after she gave birth.

Joshua McCall, 31, didn't simply drop that line in the heat of the sleep-deprived moment, either. He meant it and he put it in especially crude terms.

Josh McCall Mug Shot

The Columbia County Sheriff's report states that after the couple's dog dropped a deuce inside their house, McCall reportedly told his wife to clean it up.

Or, specifically, to "quit being lazy and burn some calories."

She doth protest too much, he believed, after she refuted this comment, as he then told her he was thinking about leaving her because she is fat.

Wow. Just wow. Don't let the door hit you on the way out?

It gets worse, too, if you can believe that. He informed her that he only took days off during their child's birth because he needed a break from work.

Forget about help with the baby, in other words.

Five members of a family found dead in their Springville, Utah, home last weekend in a case that has baffled police and gained national attention.

Benjamin Stack, his wife Kristi and three of their children had likely gathered in the parents' upstairs bedroom to watch a movie on their big-screen TV.

Stack, 37, Kristi, 36, Benson, 14, Emery, 12, and Zion, 11, were all found dead there, for reasons unknown, by an older son, Janson McGee, 18.

A preliminary autopsy showed that the family wasn't killed by violent assault, and firefighters didn't find any trace of carbon monoxide in the home.

Some doors may have been open, say police, and a ferret and two cats were found alive inside the house. Beyond that, they're searching for answers.

"It's an unknown at this point," said Lt. David Caron of the Springville P.D. "We are all waiting somewhat impatiently for the toxicology report."

"Until we get that back, it's a mystery."
