Leslie Rivera, a terminally ill 18-year-old, recently married her high school sweetheart in a dream wedding put together by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

When she was diagnosed with terminal leukemia back in April, there was only one thing the teen wanted and that was to wed boyfriend Daniel Mendez.

The couple met in October 2012 at an anti-racism club at school, and immediately hit it off. But within a few short months, Rivera was diagnosed.

Mendez has been a constant presence by her side during her fight with the disease, and Rivera was referred to Make-A-Wish shortly thereafter.

The foundation quickly got to work arranging Leslie's nuptials, even getting celebrity wedding planner David Tutera on board to make it unforgettable.

This is a terribly tragic story.

On Sunday, Virginia resident Sally Ann Okuly left her house for the first time in six months, the mother of two finally feeling strong enough to do so after being hit by a motorcycle and being diagnosed with cancer over the past year.

But soon after getting the newspaper and a cup of coffee, Okuly was struck and killed by a car.

"One of her favorite things to do was to walk over across that street to the Wawa gas station," said her husband, Bill Okuly, who would have celebrated his 41st wedding anniversary with Sally Ann the day after she died.

Earlier this month, Dayna Morales - a gay former Marine now working as a waitress in New Jersey - posted a receipt to Facebook that appeared to not include a tip.

It did, however, feature a scrawled note that said the customer (a mother of two) did not agree with Morales' "lifestyle & how you live your life."

Once the story went viral, sympathetic individuals sent Morales thousands in tips and the server has said she will be giving most of these donations to the veteran-based charity Wounded Warriors.

There's just one problem: the family who allegedly stiffed Morales tells New York City's NBC affiliate that they did no such thing.

The husband and wife asked to be anonymous, but showed reporters a bill that looked just like the one Morales posted on Facebook… except this one also had an $18 tip.

Alyssa Pack, a Florida woman, has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty after kicking geese in the face in a video that went viral on Facebook.

The video shows her happily booting several of the birds at a park while a child laughs in the background. Always good to set a positive example.

Police were tipped off and arrested her two days after the clip of her dancing and taunting a group of geese at Twin Hills Park in Crestview hit the web.

Another video shows the videographer egging Pack on, telling her to get closer to them. The birds posture aggressively as she flails her feet at their beaks.

Clearly she was doing it on purpose, and wanted it documented.

Pack also appears to say to the person filming her obnoxious behavior, "Did you get me kicking? I have now kicked all three of these geese in the face."

Now police have cooked her goose ... so to speak.

Nice try, Brian Hounslow.

This 37-year old tried to masturbate inside the woman's bathroom of a Walmart in Oklahoma this week… only to be walked in on by Beth Davis, who refused to let Hounslow leave the store without outing as a sicko.

After catching Hounslow doing his gross thing around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Davis pulled out her cell phone and starting filming him.

She followed him to the door and shouted "Someone stop him. Do not let him go out that door. Stop this man! Stop that man!"

Eventually, Hounslow was tracked down and charged with felony indecent exposure, as Davis told a local station of the incident:

"I wish I had my stun gun and stunned the sucker and laid him out then took the movie."

Take note, United Airlines. THIS is how you handle a public masturbator.

Why Adam Lanza went on his murderous shooting rampage at a Newtown, Connecticut elementary school nearly a year ago may never be known.

That was the conclusion of prosecutors Monday, as revealed in a report that closed out their exhaustive investigation into the Sandy Hook tragedy.

Adam Lanza, 20, killed 20 Sandy Hook Elementary School first-graders, six educators, his mother and himself to death on December 14 of last year.

According to the summary report by the lead investigator, State's Attorney Stephen Sedensky III, there was no indication Lanza would've done this.

Lanza was obsessed with mass murders and the 1999 Columbine High School shooting in particular, but never discussed replicating such massacres.

Jim Howe, a Tennessee dad, was recently arrested for disorderly conduct after he complained about the student pick-up policy at his children's school.

Video of the incident, posted online by his fiancee, shows Howe getting arrested for disorderly conduct at South Cumberland Elementary School.

As explained in the clip, the school recently instituted a new policy that asks parents to wait in a line of cars before their kids are released from school.

Howe, however, felt the line of vehicles caused safety issues.

The video states the policy causes “traffic [to be] backed up over a mile on a busy highway.” So he walked into the school to pick up his children.

He also wanted to protest the guidelines. It didn't go well.

The manager of a McDonald's in Australia got creative when it came to shooing away disruptive teenagers that plagued his restaurant late at night.

According to Fox & Friends, he didn't ask anyone to leave or change any store policy, but merely started blasting opera and classical music. LOUD.

So far, he says, the musical strategy seems to be working well!

Locals in the area said on social media that it’s an awesome idea as a non-confrontational means of keeping the location free of late night shenanigans.

However, local resident Janeen Brady complained about the music, saying it woke her up at 1 a.m. and fearing it’ll only get worse over the holidays.

Christmas music thrown into the mix would be a festive twist ...

An Albuquerque, N.M., woman put her puppy in a Ziploc bag and held it up for the camera, in an attempt to show Facebook friends how small the dog is.

We know, we can't believe it either ... that someone would really do that, that she'd be stupid enough to post it online, or that this person has any friends.

Mary Snell, 44, and her son, Britton James Engel, 21, were both arrested in Bernalillo County last week once a tipster alerted police to the photo, CNN reports.

Engel allegedly took the photo of Snell holding up the the eight-week-old Chihuahua, named Baby, in the bag, which was just big enough to envelop it.

She later told reporters that she realized this stunt was wrong, but, well, she "couldn't get the little guy to hold still any other way," according to KRQE-TV.

Deputies said that the position of the poor puppy - face and nose pressed up against the sides of the bag - could have easily deprived it of oxygen.

Both Engel and Snell were charged with felony animal cruelty. Baby is doing fine and, thank goodness, now lives with another family member.
