Phil Robertson disrespected the gay employees at A&E, and that's ultimately what got the star suspended from Duck Dynasty, according to a new report.

Robertson Family

The 67-year-old Robertson family patriarch's suspension has become a polarizing topic this week, and now TMZ has insight into how it all went down.

Why would the network suspend one of its most popular personalities when it knew the backlash it would get for it from fans and certain pundits?

A&E CEO Nancy Dubuc felt she could not in good conscience ask the network's gay employees to kill themselves for the show after Phil's comments.

When Robertson disrespected them by calling all gays sinners, and rather coarsely at that, in his recent interview with GQ, Dubuc felt she had no choice.

A number of gay employees involved in the production of Duck Dynasty were outraged by Phil's comments to GQ and wanted Dubuc to take action.

Is Lindsay Lohan destined to be the next Amy Winehouse?

Now that she's finished her latest stint in rehab, LiLo is looking to resurrect her music career.

And when we say career we mean "those two songs she had that one time before she got all strung out and became a frequent flier at rehab facilities all over the country."

LiLo's first attempt at a music career had her singing such songs as "Rumors" and "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)." This time, she's taking a page from Lady Gaga's handbook and wants to be an EDM artist.

She is not currently signed with a record label.

Grab your tissues, people. This one's a tear-jerker.

Ali and Ben Nunery were married in 2009. Like most married couples, they had photos taken of themselves in their wedding attire, except theirs were set to the backdrop of the house they'd bought together, the place they planned to call home for quite some time.

In 2011, just a year after she gave birth to their daughter Olivia, Ali Nunery passed away from lung cancer. Now, two years later, Ben Nunery and daughter Olivia are ready to say goodbye to that home.

But not before they had a special father-daughter photo shoot recreating Ben and Ali's wedding photos with Olivia as his sidekick.

Dad Recreates Wedding Photos with Daughter

"I was just really looking for a way to say farewell to the house, and have some things that Olivia and I can have to...remember," Ben said.

"Those images represent some of the happiest moments in my life," he wrote. "

Now he'll have a new set of images to "celebrate the great, enduring love [he] has for both Ai and Olivia."

Click through to see the rest of these breathtaking photos, but be warned. You might just shed a tear or five.

Part of the ceiling of London's Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue collapsed on Thursday evening, showering theatre-goers with plaster, wood, and dust.

"At first we thought it was part of [The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime]" says Martin Bostock. "Then I got hit on the head."

This story gives new meaning to the phrase "bringing down the house."

Apollo Theatre Collapses

As the ceiling fell in on the theatre, "complete chaos" erupted as the audience tried to get outside. More than 80 people were injured by the collapse, and several in attendance were trapped by debris.

So far, no fatalities have been reported.

A young copywriter who tweeted about her heavy workload and spending 30 hours straight in the office died shortly thereafter, it has been reported.

Mita Diran, 24, collapsed to the floor and slipped into a coma Sunday after weeks of sleeping very little and downing energy drinks just to keep going.

She died hours later.

Diran, who worked for the WPP-owned Young & Rubicam ad agency in Jakarta, Indonesia, repeatedly posted updates about her hectic job online.

"30 hours of work and still going strooong," she tweeted Saturday night, having written earlier, "Tonight, I carry the keys to the office for the eighth day running."

"I'm still here. I have no life."

Typically when you hear the phrase "diving catch," you assume a sporting event is involved. In this case, it was an airport security guard ... catching a baby!

Security agent Grzegorz Paczko was screening passengers at Poland's Katowice Airport last month when he pulled off the amazing feat. Watch:

Closed circuit footage of the catch, recently released online, shows Paczko diving beneath a baby that rolled off the edge of a checkpoint counter.

It's not clear how the baby got to that point in the first place, but wow.

The diving catch happened so quickly, it appeared to surprise the baby's father, who is seen standing right next to the child as he puts on a jacket.

A humble Paczko said the miraculous grab was purely instinctual.

Pope Francis proves he deserves Time's Person of the Year title once again. In a recent interview with La Stompa magazine, Pope Francis publicly supported moms nursing in public, joining the ranks of people ranging from poet Hollie McNish to supermodel Gisele Bundchen who champion breastfeeding in public.

Hey, baby's gotta eat, right? That's what the Pope thinks.

When asked about the state of the world's hungry and what could be done, Pope Francis replied that "people should recycle food and be less wasteful."

He also said that mothers should not be ashamed to feed their babies when they're hungry and told a story about a time when he encouraged a mother to feed her baby.

"The other day there was a young mother behind one of the barriers with a baby that was just a few month s old. The child was crying its eyes out as I came past. The mother was caressing it. I said to her: madam, I think the child’s hungry. “Yes, it’s probably time…” she replied. “Please give it something to eat!” I said. She was shy and didn’t want to breastfeed in public, while the Pope was passing. I wish to say the same to humanity: give people something to eat!"

While many openly disparage mothers who choose to breastfeed their children in public, the Pope's open acceptance and acknowledgement of the practice as healthy and normal is a breath of fresh air to many.

This is clearly not a man for whom breastfeeding infants is an issue. Can we high-five His Holiness?

Move over, Becky Jackson! Rion Holcombe is going to college!

Holcombe, a 20 year old with Down Syndrome, was accepted to Clemson University's LIFE program and this video of him finding out he got in has seriously made my Friday morning.

Watch him open the acceptable letter and beam with joy:

Having been accepted, Rion will be moving on to a unique opportunity this fall.

Clemson's LIFE program is a program designed for students with "intellectual disabilities who desire a post-secondary experience on a college campus."

Only 15 students are accepted into the program, which runs for two years.

I never thought I'd say this, but "Go Tigers!"

Best of luck in 2014, Rion Holcombe!

Neal Marshall, a resident of the UK, pleaded guilty to the charge of outraging public decency after he was found naked and masturbating while driving this month.

He was pulled over for speeding after going more than 60 m.p.h.

His lawyer, Adrian Evans, said his client got "carried away."

How do you even do that? One hand on the wheel, the other on ...

Never mind. His attorney did not explain the technique utilized.

"This does not excuse his actions but it goes a way to explain why he was seen doing it," Evans said of Marshall's nude, masturbating joyride through Chester.

This wasn't Marshall's first time being charged with such a crime.

In 2008, the masturbating man was given a six-month community order, and a six-month supervision, after being charged with outraging public decency.
