Chick Fil-Fil-A founder Truett Cathy died today at the age of 93.

Though he pulled himself up from poverty to found one of the most successful fast food chains in America, Cathy may end up being best remembered for the controversies that resulted in part from his conservative religious beliefs.

Atlanta Hawks owner Bruce Levenson admitted that he sent a racist e-mail in August 2012 and will sell his interest in the NBA franchise as a result.

Levenson reported the e-mail to the NBA in July, almost two years after it was sent but while the league was deep in litigation over the sale of the L.A. Clippers.

Authorities in Southwest Missouri say that Chelsie Berry and Jared Prier posed for a selfie with the body of a friend who died from a drug overdose.

Berry, 24 and Prier, 26, have been charged with voluntary manslaughter and abandonment of a corpse in the death of Dennis "Nathan" Meyer, 30.
