What happened to the days where you didn't tell anyone how much money you make? Apparently, they are gone. Check out the story below!

CNN medical expert Dr. Sanjay Gupta announced last night that he has reversed his blanket opposition to marijuana use, saying he once misled the public.

Gupta, whose documentary on weed airs on Sunday, issued a 180 on Piers Morgan Tonight and in an op-ed called "Why I Changed My Mind On Weed."

"I have apologized for some of the earlier reporting because I think, you know, we've been terribly and systematically misled in this country for some time," he said.

"And I did part of that misleading."

He said that while he formerly derided medical marijuana supporters, he has since done research that had shown him how beneficial it could be:

Sliders are on the rise ... and we don't mean burger recipes.

We're talking about the new criminal trend happening to at gas stations all over the U.S., in which brazen thieves slide in and steal purses from cars.

While the female drivers are pumping gas, that is.

Authorities call this new breed of criminals "sliders" because they crouch down and pilfer the items below the eye level of the door, escaping undetected.

They don't return the stolen property, either.

Burglars who stole computers from a non-profit at an office building in Los Angeles returned them with an apology note after they realized who they had pilfered.

Hearing they'd ransacked he San Bernardino County Sexual Assault Services - a group that helps victims of sexual violence - did not sit well with the thieves.

Note of Apology

The thieves broke in the night of July 31, cops said, making off with several computer towers and monitors, along with a laptop, said director Candy Stallings.

"One of the officers talked to some transients around the street about what was going on. He was telling them about what we do," Stallings said.

Apparently, word traveled fast.

The following morning about 4:30 a.m., Stallings got another call about more suspicious activity at her office, and was astonished for a different reason.

Yes, he saved the dog first ... but look at them!

Graham Anley and his wife, Cheryl, recently found their yacht sinking after it collided with a reef while on a voyage from East London to Madagascar.

National Sea Rescue Institute station commander Geoff McGregor said all three survivors - man, wife and Jack Russell terrier - were wearing life jacket:

"As the crash happened Graham sent a Mayday radio distress call and activated the EPIRB (a GPS beacon) but they were immediately forced to abandon ship."

"He first swam Rosie (the dog) ashore safely before returning for his wife, whose safety line had snagged on the steering gear," McGregor added.

A recent tiger shark attack victim says even though her injuries from the fish were extensive, the tiger shark that bit her left as quickly as it had attacked.

Almost like a shark hit and run.

Evonne Cashman shows viewers in the news report above how she had to get at least 40 staples in her hand and along her spine after the shark bit her.

She just glad she didn’t lose her thumb, however, and for good reason.

While the experience was traumatizing to say the least and her wounds are significant, Evonne should eventually heal without any permanent damage.

Another Shark Week cautionary tale, THGers. Meanwhile, somewhere Tara Reid is wondering how a tiger and shark have sex to make a tiger shark.

Watch now as a bolt strikes in the very near distance and the young man reacts in fear and shock, writing as a caption to the video: “The day I almost became a chewy grilled squid.”
