A handful of readers may have already been excited about Bandslam, the music-driven comedy starring Vanessa Hudgens, Aly Michalka and Gaelen Connell that opens on August 14.

But many more should now circle that date on their calendar, as a new preview for the film promises an "exclusive look" at New Moon prior to the featured movie.

Various sources confirm that a new trailer for New Moon will debut in theaters, along with Bandslam, over that mid-August weekend.

In other words: get your fill of Hudgens, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart for the price of one ticket! We understand if you now leave our site to pre-order a few tickets.

Across the nation, millions of women fantasize about Robert Pattinson on a daily basis.

Similarly, in the book New Moon, Pattinson's character of Edward Cullen is rarely actually present; he exists, almost entirely, as a voice in Bella's head, following the heartbreaking end to this couple's relationship.

How will this be depicted on the big screen? MTV asked that question to co-star Michael Welch.

"They figured out a very clever way to get Edward back in the film much more than he is in the book," said the actor that plays Mike Newton. "In the film, it's more of like a hallucination kind of thing. He will be [in the movie more than the book] for sure."

Fear not, ladies: you'll see plenty of this handsome mug on the big screen in New Moon.

Life certainly seems easy for Robert Pattinson.

He stars in popular movies, he's ogled at by women everywhere, he goes home to Kristen Stewart almost every night.

But the man that plays Edward Cullen is always looking over his shoulder, wondering who the next young stud that threatens his place in the Hollywood pecking order will be.

Enter Jamie Campbell-Bower.

This rising star is also British, also dons wild hair and has also landed a critical role in New Moon, one directly opposed to that of Pattinson. Campbell-Bower will play Caius, the leader of the Volturi. It's safe to say that he and Cullen don't agree on one major issue:

Edward wants to love Bella, while Caius was to kill Bella. Awkward!

Jamie Campbell-Bower is about to make life a lot more difficult for Robert Pattinson, on and off screen.

Who will win the battle between Campbell-Bower and Pattinson? The latter is next starring in a random movie called Remember Me, while the former will portray Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Following talk that Adam Lambert would contribute a song to the New Moon soundtrack, E! News asked the crooner about the possibility.

His answer was simple, yet revealing - and exciting!

"That's just another rumor. That would be really cool. I should [do it]."

Let the Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart romance rumors begin!

Little, Brown Book Group has revealed its cover for the movie tie-in edition of New Moon. The redesigned novel will soon hit bookstores everywhere, as it coincides with the hype for the November 20 release of the film.

Lautner and Stewart (as Jacob and Bella, respectively) are seen below in an embrace, as a vision of an angered Edward (Robert Pattinson) lurks in the shadows.

Attention, Absolutely Insane New Moon Fan: you may wanna stop reading right about now.

When asked by Extra about the upcoming Twilight sequel, Taylor Lautner didn't reveal any major spoilers. But he did say:

"There is heartbreak and, oh it's horrible. New Moon will rip your heart to shreds. So get ready!"

Don't worry, T-Bone. Fans are ready.

As for his shriek-inducing topless scenes, the actor said conditions weren't ideal for him to go all Matthew McConaughey on viewers. But, hey, you gotta suck it up.

"I was shirtless, all I was wearing was shorts. We were in 35-degree (2 degrees Celsius) weather. They poured rain on us, which is like ice cold. And the scene was like four minutes long and I'm just sitting there and you can't look cold. I'm the only one. I'm just standing there like basically naked with everybody bundled up in this ice cold weather."

At least the end result is worthwhile. Those that have seen Lautner shirtless pics aren't complaining .

From trailers to photos to secrets about its stars, New Moon is receiving as much hype as any movie in recent memory. And it doesn't even come out until November!

The latest report is courtesy of Life & Style, a tabloid that, unsurprisingly, is focusing most of its coverage on Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

According to the magazine, the stars perfected their spit swapping technique on May 27 in Montepulciano, Italy, as a 10-hour shoot focused on the key reunion scene between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

"They were happy and laughing throughout filming," said an extra. "It was like they were the only two actors on set."

Despite Stewart's supposed relationship with Michael Angarano, witnesses say her and Pattinson were able to spend a lot of alone time in Italy.

"I saw them surfing the Internet together," a bartender at the Grand Hotel Admiral Palace said. "They were looking and laughing at something."

Meanwhile, Ashley Greene described how the beauty of the Italian countryside contrasted with the tone of the scenes being filmed there.

"These are the most frightening and nerve-racking scenes," she said. "It's when [the powerful Volturi vampires] are debating whether to kill Edward and Bella."
