A couple weeks ago, NeNe Leakes confronted Michael Lohan on The Insider.

Please, don't ask us why those two were somehow featured on this entertainment news program.

In response to The Real Housewife of Atlanta telling him to suck it, Lohan said NeNe should lose some weight (though he used more colorful wording). Based on an OK! Weekly article, it looks like Leakes is taking that advice.

“My trainer has taught me to eat breakfast," Leakes said of fitness guru Tammy Stokes. “She said, ‘NeNe, you have to bite something in the morning to get your metabolism going.’ So I’ve learned to do that, and it works.

“Then I eat my lunch: lots of salads with chicken. I love to go out to eat for dinner, [but] I never order an entrée. The portion sizes today are very large. So I’ll order an appetizer.”

Who said Michael Lohan doesn't do any good in the world? Oh. Right.

Everybody says that.

It takes a lot for us to be on the side of NeNe Leakes.

This is a reality star with no discernible skill set, who will clearly do anything for attention.

But NeNe has discovered the singular way to appeal to anyone with common sense: tell off Michael Lohan.

Featured on The Insider, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star didn't hold anything back during a video spat with Lindsay's destructive, diluted dad.

“You are a toxic parent!” she screamed at the man who recently admonished his daughter in public. “You are a manipulator.”

Lohan, not known for his silence, tact or anything positive, replied:

“I’m not gonna see my daughter die! You have Michael Jackson, you had Heath Ledger, Adam Goldstein. You can go back to John Belushi, Anna Nicole Smith, and even Elvis Presley. It was prescription drugs that killed these people. I’m not gonna watch my daughter die.”

That's true. Instead, he's gonna profit from her dangerous spiral and milk every shot and snort for as much publicity as he can.

As a Real Housewife of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes has finally owned up to what some may consider a real shady past:

The reality TV star is a former stripper.

In her memoir, Never Make the Same Mistake Twice, Leakes tells all about her past abusive relationships, admitting that they drove her to take a job as a stripper at an Atlanta club years ago.

“Yes, I was a stripper, a woman who took her clothes off and danced for dollars,” she writes. “Let the judgment ensue. I mean, it’s easy enough to do, right?”

NeNe's story, while clearly publicized for attention and money, is actually intriguing.

She turned to dirty dancing because the relationship with the father of her oldest child had just ended and “my son was in private school, his father wasn’t chipping in for pull-ups or food, I had no job and no money coming in, the rent was past due, and the super told me and my roommate that our condo owner was about to put us out.

So I did what I had to do.”

Does she regret it? Not one bit. Leakes said the experienced was “the ultimate power trip," adding:

“With every piece of clothing I took off, the more I got my life back. I worked this body like a well-oiled machine, and every movement got me closer to my goal of financial independence for me and my child.”

Interesting. Perhaps this was the motivation for Miley Cyrus' performance at the Teen Choice Awards.
