John Legend has been called many things over his career: talented, hard-working, successful.

But this is a new one: A New Jersey songwriter named Anthony Stokes claims the musician is a hack.

According to court documents filed this week, Stokes says he gave Legend a demo tape in 2004 at the University of North Carolina. He never heard back from the famous singer... but then heard Legend's "Maxine's Interlude" and and believes it was based on Stokes' track, "Where Are You Now?"

Stokes is demanding damages from Legend and attempting to block sales of "Maxine's Interlude."

We've posted Legend's single above and you can listen to Stokes croon his song HERE. Think Stokes has a case?

Distraught, but given no other option, Taylor Swift has been forced to cancel a few upcoming shows on her Speak Now World Tour.

The singer has been diagnosed with bronchitis and advised by her doctor to take it easy. As a result, she won't be performing in Charlotte this Friday, or over the weekend in Atlanta.

"It breaks my heart to miss out on this weekend's shows with my friends in Charlotte and Atlanta," Taylor said yesterday. "I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do."

The Charlotte concert has been rescheduled for November 16, while the Atlanta shows will be moved to October 1 and 2. Look for Swift to resume her regular schedule July 14 in Montreal.

We're just a couple months away from a new Kelly Clarkson album.

But you're mere moments away from listening to the first single off this CD.

The track is titled "Let Me Down" and we're not really sure if it fits into the way Kelly described the sound of the upcoming album. She recently said it was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow and Radiohead and "there’s a little bit of a country vibe/influence." Can you hear that below?

Jon Huertas has an expansive, eclectic resume: actor (he stars as Detective Esposito on Castle), former member of the U.S. Air Force Special Ops, singer... sex tape star?

Not really.

In preparation for his upcoming album, Huertas pretended that he went all Kim Kardashian over Twitter this weekend, teasing a hot feature between himself and a female. Turns out, it's just the video for the single "Sex is the Word." Check it out here:

Why promote the video in such a manner? Explained Huertas to Pop Eater:

"Because my album is called 'Sex Tape,' and every one of my songs has its roots in sex in some way, I decided that it would be smarter to have the video be a little bit more about sex."

And it surely is. Try not to drool all over your keyboards when watching it, ladies.
