Legendary country singer George Jones has died at the age of 81.

The peerless, hard-living star recorded dozens of hits about good times and regrets, perhaps most notably the classic "He Stopped Loving Her Today."

Rep Kirt Webster says Jones died today at Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center after being hospitalized with fever and irregular blood pressure.

Known for his clenched, precise baritone, Jones recorded 150 (?!) albums and notched No. 1 songs in five separate decades, from the '50s to the '90s.

He was idolized not just by fellow country singers, but artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pete Townshend, Elvis Costello, James Taylor and many others.

Typically a celebratory occasion, the Billboard Latin Music Awards took on a somber tone last night, honoring the life and tragic death of Jenni Rivera.

The singer died in a December plane crash.

Posthumously, however, Rivera took home six trophies at the ceremony, including Regional Mexican Album of the Year (for "La Gran Señora") and Artist of the Year.

"You are my diva," Rivera's father, Pedro Rivera, said in accepting the awards.

Don't turn around, Ace of Base fans. You may be disappointed to learn that Ulf Ekberg, one of the band's founding members, has a disturbing secret:

He was in a Nazi band.

Also, he has ties to a political party that reportedly has extremist tendencies and leans uncomfortably toward the hate-group side of the spectrum.

The revelations, which are admittedly not so much new as little-known, surfaced in a recent article about the "All That She Wants" band's members.

It turns out that Ekberg was at once point in a band called Commit Suicide.

One of their songs contains the lyrics, "Men in white hoods march down the road, we enjoy ourselves when we're sawing off n-----s’ heads / Immigrant, we hate you!"

"Out, out, out, out! Nordic people, wake up now! Shoot, shoot, shoot!"

Very well played, Beyonce.

In a video that combines both her music career and her modeling career, the singer has released a preview of "Standing in the Sun," a track off her upcoming album, and combined it with her new H&M bikini campaign.

Watch the artist strut her very hot stuff in a very small bathing suit now:

And in case you missed it, take a virtual front seat now for Beyonce concert footage of Mrs. Carter performing across Europe on the opening legs of her global tour.

Might the much-rumored new Eminem album be on its way in just over a month?

Rumors now state that Slim Shady will come out with a CD on May 28 and follow it with a string of European tour dates, chatter that echoes what Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg said in February:

"We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He's been working on it for some time... It's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when.

"We've got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we're trying to see what else lines up."

Eminem has not come out with an album since 2010.

The late Amy Winehouse's father, Mitch Winehouse, is speaking out about Beyonce's new cover of "Back to Black," and false reports that he slammed it.

The song for the upcoming Great Gatsby soundtrack features Andre 3000 and prompted reports that Mitch wasn't a fan, claiming B "brings nothing" to it.

Not the case, says Mitch, who clarified his take on the song.

He tweeted: "I like Beyonce's cover and have no probs."

Tuesday was not a great night for Victor Ortiz.

The box was voted out of the Dancing with the Stars results show.

But the evening went a lot better for fans of will.i.am and Justin Bieber, as the superstars teamed up for a live performance of "Thatpower." Sort of!

Bieber, of course, is touring Europe at the moment, but the wonders of technology allowed him to sing his role in this track via giant video screen.

Watch him and will.i.am do their entertaining thing now!

While PSY "Gentleman" lyrics give you little idea what the song is even about, the Korean rapper is clearly doing something right with his new hit song.

First, it set the new high water mark for YouTube views on the day of its debut and surpassed 100 million in less than a week. Now he's added a new record:

Mother Father Gentleman

"Gentleman" was viewed an amazing 38 million times on April 14 alone, shattering the single-day record of 30 million set by the KONY 2012 short film.

Right now, "Gentleman" is well over 200 million views in less than two weeks. About the only thing left for PSY to beat now is ... well, "Gangnam Style."

That one could be tough. But watch it below and help him out!

Jimmy Kimmel took his recurring “Lie Witness News” segment to Coachella last weekend, in an effort to get the perspective of festival-goers on various bands.

Ones that do not actually exist.

“Music fans love knowing about bands no one else has heard of," he dryly noted, then decided to take this idea to an entirely different, absurd level.

"So we sent a camera crew to Coachella, and we asked people walking into the venue what they thought about a bunch of bands whose names we made up.”

Among the awesome band names Kimmel and his correspondent invented: Dr. Shlomo & G.I. Clinic, The Chelsea Clintons and Get The F**k Out of My Pool.

Two Door Cinema Club is actually real, however, to make it even more confusing.

Celebrities love to share their thoughts on Twitter.

Isn't that right, Amanda Bynes? Kim Kardashian?

This isn't to say that said Tweets are pearls of wisdom, or even coherent. In many cases, they are of little use and may be more confusing than anything.

With this in mind, a new YouTube video pays homage to some of the best Tweets from celebrities in music video form, because it was only a matter of time.

Check it out below and sing along!
