One of his sisters, Paulette Keise, said Brooks died Friday of cardiac arrest in Queens. He fell ill years ago, she said, losing his ability to speak.

Brooks began his quietly legendary music career in the late 1960s as a studio musician, playing in songs such as Burning Spear's "Door Peep."

He had hits with trumpeter David Madden including "Money Maker" and "Mystic Mood" and was part of the Jamaican ska band The Skatalites.

He is survived by seven children and four sisters.

Seven days. Seven countries. One pop music superstar.

A plane full of bemused, annoyed fans and journalists.

Yup, it's that time. Rihanna's 777 Tour, which made headlines for all the wrong reasons last year, is finally debuting as a documentary tonight on Fox.

The seven-day, seven-country tour to celebrate the release of her new album, Unapologetic, turned out to be bedlam, but not the good kind of bedlam.

Just the literal definition of it.

Patricia Krentcil, New Jersey's infamous "Tanning Mom," is trading the tanning bed for the recording studio. Yes, she's about to drop her debut single.

Don't even ask us why, but here's a sneak preview:

The song, titled "It's Tan Mom" (seriously), will be available on iTunes today. Don't everybody crash their servers with massive traffic at once, okay?

Patricia Krentcil said she was influenced by Rihanna's "Diamonds" as well as other hits, but rest assured, she added her own spin to the HOT song.

"I took all the lyrics and what was written in front of me and I scrambled it up and I put my own words into the song," the 44-year-old said of her debut.

Scrambled is a good word for it. As well as your brain, after you've suffered through even a few snippets. Seriously, you can't do justice to its terribleness.

If you're a real glutton for punishment, check out the slideshow of Tanning Mom photos after the jump. Talk about things you wish you could un-see ...

The Las Vegas Sun reported that the model returned to the world of adult entertainment (sort of), rocking a skin tight, curve-hugging black dress.

Electra celebrated the miletone by sipping on Dom Perignon and Grey Goose cocktails while munching on strawberries and whipped cream. Mmm.

“I love coming here to Crazy Horse III every year to celebrate with my friends here in Las Vegas!” Electra said from the stage. "This is the best birthday ever!"

She later jumped on stage to dance when the DJ played her latest track, "Bigger Dick." Yes ... Carmen Electra has a new song out by that name.

Looks like The 20/20 Experience has just begun.

Justin Timberlake subtly announced the release date of the much-anticipated second half of his new album Sunday, via the following Instagram photo:

Justin Timberlake Announcement

The "Suit & Tie" crooner's picture shows him strumming a guitar in the studio with a handwritten sign in the foreground that says it all. September 30, baby!

In case it wasn't clear, the 32-year-old included the hashtags "2020Experience2of2" and "TheTNKids." If the first half is any indication, this should be big.

Boosted by the hit "Suit & Tie," The 20/20 Experience has proven to be a huge seller for JT, who had gone almost seven years without a new album.

You excited for the second half of the record?

Jeff Hanneman of the thrash metal band Slayer has died. He was just 49.

The monstrous guitar player died of liver failure, according to reports.

Hanneman

The punk rock-influenced thrash-metal legend and fellow guitarist Kerry King formed Slayer when both were auditioning for the same band in 1981.

Instead, they decided to start their own, to widespread success.

Slayer's sales neared 30 million albums worldwide, and they were often called one of the "big four" in metal alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax.

Hanneman is survived by wife Kathy, a sister and two brothers.
