Today, the 25th of June, is Michael Jackson's death anniversary.

The King of Pop died four years ago at the age of 50 from cardiac arrest, for which Dr. Conrad Murray was eventually found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Michael may be gone, but four years later, his legacy lives on.

While his demise introduced a new generation of fans and reinvigorated his loyal followers to his musical greatness, he has not rested entirely in peace.

The personal problems and eccentricities that dominated news when he was alive have continued to do so in the aftermath of his tragic passing.

Jackson’s children, Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson, who he worked so hard to ensure would be normal and well-adjusted, have had a tough time.

The Commander-in-Chief "sings" as much in the latest music video splicing together clips from his speeches to form the lyrics of a Top 40 hit.

Here, B.O. takes on Daft Punk featuring Pharrell:

For a guy whose year has been scandal-filled, rather than fun-filled, but maybe singing one of 2013's hottest jams will help shift public opinion.

Eh, wouldn't count on it. But it is good comedy.

And now the singer's fans have a reason to thank her: Lovato has given us a look at the cover art for her upcoming single, "Made in the USA."

It's a black-and-white shot of the 20-year old in a leather jacket, biting her collar and smiling coyly. We can also clearly make out the cross tattoo on her right hand:

Bobby "Blue" Bland, an influential soul and blues musician behind many hits from the 1940s and beyond, died Sunday in Memphis at the age of 83.

BBBland

"The Lion of the Blues” or “Sinatra of the Blues” was revered as a pioneer of blues and soul with a career dating back to the early blues and R&B sound.

Bobby "Blue" Bland packed elements of gospel, blues, pop, country, jazz and R&B into emotionally raw performances that became a standard for the genre.

He never quite achieved the crossover and radio success of peers such as Ray Charles and B.B. King, who he even imitated in early recordings.

Nevertheless, he remained a fixture on the R&B charts and tour circuit for decades and is one of the top 25 bestselling R&B artists of modern times.

As a testament to his career, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and received a lifetime achievement Grammy in 1997.

Bland died from complications of an ongoing illness. RIP.

The Wu-Tang Clan performed at Bonnaroo 2013, which would have been noteworthy enough, but it was an unexpected attendee who stole the show:

Their American Sign Language interpreter!

As the remaining members of the legendary hip-hop group did their thing, the palpable energy was almost upstaged by the moves of the ASL translator.

That's signing with swag, people!

Between this woman and Lydia Callis, Michael Bloomberg's ASL interpreter who became a viral star after Superstorm Sandy, sign language has never been so cool!

The tragic death of Lil Snupe was not an accident, police believe.

Officials in Louisiana say they think a 36-year-old man shot and killed the 18-year-old rapper and Meek Mill protege during an argument earlier this week.

The dispute may have come down to video games, amazingly.

Police have issued a warrant for Tony Holden, a convicted felon who should be considered armed and dangerous, but have not been able to locate him.

Police confirmed Lil Snupe dead early Thursday after he was shot twice in the chest. Snupe (real name Addarren Ross) was just signed to Mill’s label.

Who needs Wyclef. Amanda Bynes will sign a record deal with rapper Waka Flocka Flame for her upcoming, debut hip hop album.

Yes, this is a real thing.

  • Waka Flocka
  • Amanda Bynes, Post Arrest

Waka, who's in charge of Brick Squad Monopoly records, says no deal has been signed yet, but already has people penning Amanda's songs.

While this sounds as ridiculous as the chosen Kim Kardashian baby name, Waka insists that it's gonna happen - and gonna be a big, big deal.

Waka says he and Amanda FaceTime at least once a week and text every day about her rap career and "keeping her head up from the haters."

The album will be called Shots, he says, and "It's going to be crazy hot."

That was fast.

The Voice winner Danielle Bradbery has been signed to Big Machine Records, the same record label as none other than Taylor Swift herself.

What's more, the teenager who edged Michelle Chamuel for the title is scheduled to begin recording her debut album as early as next week!

On Tuesday night's dramatic season finale, Danielle Bradbery beat out Chamuel and the Swon Brothers to be named The Voice of Season 4.

"You are an amazing coach and an amazing person, I love you coach," she told Blake Shelton, who has mentored three straight champs.

Shelton called Danielle "the most important" winner the NBC show has boasted to date, and has made no secret of his high hopes for her.

What do you think: Did she deserve to win?

Some sources indicate that he was shot and killed, although no official details, including the location, have been released as of this posting.

No homicides with a similarly aged victim occurred in the Baton Rouge area overnight, though it's unclear if he still resides in that city or was there last night.

In any case, Lil Snupe's manager, DJ Smallz and Dream Chasers' Louie V Gutta both tweeted of the rapper's death this morning with heavy hearts.
