No, the Harlem Shake video below is not #1 on Billboard, but the track that birthed the meme - Baauer's 2012 release, "Harlem Shake" - actually is.

Some say the Harlem Shake is over already. If so, many people apparently didn't get the memo. More bought it last week than any other song.

What is the Harlem Shake exactly?

Basically, it was/is a dance that dates back to the early days of hip hop, which inspired Baauer's song, which inspired 490,000 videos you've seen online.

As such, pinpointing the "original" Harlem Shake video is a challenge, as several even lay claim to it - the one above, for example, and this one below:

One Direction has released a brand new music video, but this one is extra special.

In support of Comic Relief - a British charity that stands for a myriad of causes abroad (and is explained in depth below) - Harry, Niall and the boys have saved money for that organization by filming the video for "One Way Or Another" themselves.

It's mostly just the young studs having fun on tour, frolicking in airports and doing a bit of chicken dancing. But there's nothing wrong with any of that, is there?

Unless your name is Taylor Swift, you're gonna want to click Play now. This is a fun one:

This just in: Jessica Biel is a big fan of Justin Timberlake.

The actress accompanied her man to London this week and made it very clear in a Tweet that she enjoyed his performance of "Mirrors" and "Suit & Tie," Tweeting soon after the renditions:

"My Huz just killed it on the Brits. and the London fans are the tits!"

We're gonna assume that's a big compliment.

Taylor Swift also took to the stage at the event. Watch her latest version of "I Knew You Were Trouble" now.

Mindy McCready's last song, "I'll See You Yesterday," contained a strong suicide prevention message and was dedicated to her late boyfriend David Wilson.

Obviously, it's taken on a whole new tragic meaning now.

As she sings "I'll See You Yesterday," a photo of a rural scene transitions to pictures of McCready and Wilson, followed by contact info for suicideispreventable.org.

It had been intended to be used as a PSA.

Clive Davis is bisexual. The uber producer makes this admission in his new memoir, "The Soundtrack of My Life."

But that revelation isn't the focus of a new Kelly Clarkson rant, in which the singer reacts to passages in the book with anger and authority.

Kelly Clarkson in Ireland

"Clive Davis is… spreading false information about me and my music," Clarkson wrote in a post on her WhoSay blog. "I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans. It feels like a violation. Growing up is awesome because you learn you don't have to cower to anyone - even Clive Davis."

Remember when Mariah Carey was just a singer? One of the all-time greats, at that? Well, she reminds us of this with her latest release, entitled "Almost Home."

The song, which is tied to the new film Oz the Great and Powerful, feels like a return to the Mariah of old, with electro-pop precision backing up her soaring vocals.

The mid-tempo track may not go down as one of her biggest hits, but it's indicative of the unique vocal talent she possesses, and what her fans now expect.

Listen to "Almost Home" below and see what you think:

During a concert in Seoul this week, Adam Lambert made like Rihanna.

No, the former American Idol runner-up didn't get beat up by Chris Brown and then return to his arms years later because he clearly has issues with self-confidence and self-esteem.

But he did cover the track "Stay," much like Vin Diesel randomly did last week as a Valentine's Day gift to his female fans.

Did Lambert at least outdo that action star? How does his version compare to Rihanna? Listen and react now:

Attention, meat haters: you can put away your vegetarian recipes for one night next month and let the Staples Center satisfy all your non-protein cravings.

That's because Morrissey has scheduled the first-ever vegetarian-based concert at this Los Angeles venue, with all vendors on board to only serve meatless entrees and snacks.

"I don't look upon it as a victory for me, but a victory for the animals," said the singer in a press release.

Aside from specializing in items such as a tomato soup recipe, and shutting the doors on all Staples Center McDonald's for an evening, the arena and promoter Goldenvoice will each donate a portion ticket sale proceeds to PETA.

Seems like a worthwhile, important endeavor. Well done, all around!
