Chris Brown is allegedly listening to Alanis Morissette for the purposes of combating depression. Karrueche Tran is said to have gotten him hooked on the artist!

The 24-year-old might need all the help he can get.

  • Alanis Morissette Picture

Brown suffered a seizure earlier this month that his rep blamed on non-stop negativity surrounding the star, then just nixed four shows in Canada.

The reason? Personal and health issues.

Moreover, he was just slapped with 1,000 more hours of community service at an upsetting court hearing. No wonder he needs to clear his head.

You live, you learn, Chris?!

Justin Timberlake and N Sync will reportedly hold a one-night, much-anticipated (?) reunion this Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The New York Post reports that JT and his former bandmates will take the stage together during the show this weekend at the Barclays Center.

The boy band disbanded in 2002.

A reunited N Sync, while not confirmed, isn’t the wildest stretch of the imagination for an event of this magnitude, and one made for huge PR stunts.

The crew did reunite last week, too, just not on stage.

J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick were in the VIP section for JT's show with Jay-Z Friday. Will they join him again Sunday?

The Post claims they will celebrate Timberlake collecting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, for "pioneering and innovative impact" on music videos.

See one of N Sync's "pioneering" efforts after the jump and tell us whether you think a reunion of the former heart throbs on stage would be a good thing:

Dave Chappelle stars on Prince's "Breakfast Can Wait" cover art, dressed as Prince from one of his famous Chappelle Show skits. Hilarious stuff.

Prince "Breakfast Can Wait" Cover

Prince joined Twitter recently and despite his lack of awareness regarding what a selfie is, his sense of humor is on display with this classic cover art.

The image in question shows Chappelle in a frilly, layered purple look with curly black hair while staring longingly into the camera, a la Prince in his heyday.

Beside him, and under the song title "Breakfast Can Wait," is a plate of pancakes.

Genius. As for the song, it's real, not a spoof. Listen to a clip after the jump!

The Lady Gaga "Applause" music video has been viewed 5,604,997 times in its first 22 hours of release ... and surely many more by the time you read this.

The first Lady Gaga music video in two years, "Applause" was the talk of the Internet Monday, even as Katy Perry's "Roar" outsells the track on iTunes.

By more than a 2:1 margin, according to some estimates.

"Applause," the first new track song from her upcoming album, ARTPOP, is likely to be performed live this weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards.

That should only further drive views of the video, which is very artistic, a combination of art noir and ... whatever you'd call a smiling Lady Gaga nude.

What do you think of her latest effort? Tell us below:

The Calling lead singer Alex Band was abducted, beaten and robbed Sunday, he says, just hours before his group announced a comeback effort.

He suffered "a fractured lower spine, 15 stitches to lower chin, three broken teeth and is bruised on his side and stomach" from the baton beating.

He denied that the attack was related to his drug use or a hoax.

"This just happened to me. I didn't kidnap myself, or beat the crap out of myself. So the whole hoax thing is honestly kind of disgusting to hear," he told CNN.

He told investigators he was walking down a street in downtown Lapeer, Mich., where his group had just performed at a music festival, about 3 a.m. Sunday.

That's when two men grabbed him and dragged him into a van.

Canadians hoping to see Chris Brown perform will have to settle for watching his "Love More" music video, because he's canceled four shows there.

He was set to perform in Halifax, N.S., Saint John, N.B., Toronto, Ont., and Winnipeg, Man., as part of a summer concert series, but now he will not.

The reason? His ongoing issues ... personal, legal and/or medical.

Stephen Tobin, owner of Drop Entertainment Group, says the shows were nixed "in light of the performer's recent personal and health-related issues."

Brown recently suffered a seizure, which he has recovered from, but which his rep blamed on non-stop negativity surrounding the R&B superstar.

Katy Perry's "Roar" has won the battle of the new hit pop singles, at least in their opening week, outpacing Lady Gaga's latest release, "Applause."

Perry is a champion, as proclaimed, and her fans' collective "Roar" has propelled her to more than 525,000 downloads of her latest mega-single.

Somewhere, Perez Hilton is celebrating so hard.

That's compared to an estimated 200,000 to 225,000 sales expected for Lady Gaga, Billboard reports. So is "Applause" more like a slow clap?

The release of today's Lady Gaga "Applause" music video might help her cause ("Roar" doesn't have one yet), but for now, Katy is winning big time.

Maybe Little Monsters didn't satisfy (people, or expectations).

Lady Gaga may or may not be getting stalked by Perez Hilton, but she's definitely embarking on a full-scale media blitz to promote her new song "Applause."

And its new music video, which she dropped today on GMA! Watch:

Baring plenty of skin and face paint, Gaga dances her arse off, giving the also-just-released Chris Brown "Love More" music video a run for its money.

Gaga wears typically crazy getups throughout, including one rather mermaid-esque costume, while rolling around in a provocative manner ... standard.

What do you think of the song, and its video? Is Lady Gaga back and better than ever? Or is this a subpar effort not worthy of such insane hype?

Chris Brown may have been given 1,000 hours of community service for falsifying his previous community service reports, but his weekend wasn't a total loss.

The star released his new music video for "Love More" featuring Nicki Minaj, and Team Breezy is eating up his directorial debut. Check it out for yourself below:

The video starts with a cameo from comedian Nick Swardson, who hits the club with Chris, who shows he has a good sense of humor during their adventure.

As long as he can get in the club, everything will be alright, ya'll.

“Love More” features great dance moves, but kicks into high gear when Nicki finally appears to drop some serious rhymes in a SERIOUS dress.

In Tweeting out the video, Chris Brown called out the haters, writing, “while you guys kill yourself over bulls**t ill keep directing stuff like this! Thx team breezy!!”

Clearly, he thinks he killed it with this effort ... do you agree?
