Take a seat, Britney Spears.

There's a new Queen of Los Angeles in town.

Following four sold-out shows at the Staples Center this week (which included a fun duet with Sara Bareilles on "Brave"), Taylor Swift has now headlined more shows at that venue AND sold out more shows at that venue than any artist in history: 11.

It's quite the feat and it pushes Britney into second place.

Watch the following video report for more and to learn how Taylor was honored for the accomplishment:

Apparently it's '90s Day on THG.

First, we received news that a Reality Bites TV show was ordered by an actual network. Wait, no, sorry. It was NBC. But still, Reality Bites, people!

Hours later ... Toad the Wet Sprocket is officially reuniting! First-pump/WTH?!

We repeat: Toad the Wet Sprocket has a new album coming out October 15.

A Kickstarter campaign raising more than $260,000 will finance the effort, the first for the group in at least 15 years; TTWS broke up in 1998.

There's also going to be a tour. Who should open for them? Vote below!

One Direction has set another record.

The boy band, who holds the mark for most VEVO video views in 24 hours, performed this morning on Today in front of what Matt Lauer described as "the biggest crowd" the show has ever had in its plaza.

Watch them make 18,000 spectators scream with a rendition of "What Makes You Beautiful."

It's been an eventful week for the One Direction members.

Zayn Malik got engaged to Perrie Edwards, while Liam Payne defended Sophia Smith and told off haters online who gave his new girlfriend a hard time.

Richie Sambora, a founding member of Bon Jovi, has been fired from the group's tour and been replaced on lead guitar, according to a new report.

Sambora was canned and replaced on lead guitar by Philip "Phil X" Xenidis, and the alleged reason for the move is a simple, time-honored one:

Sambora, who's been in the band for 30 years, gets $2 million a month plus 20 percent of profits. Xenidis makes $10,000 a month, with no profit share.

That's a lot of extra cash to spread among the other four members, but did he really get the boot from the legendary rock band for that reason alone?

Rapper J. Cole is raising eyebrows for recent comments he made about race in America, specifically how they relate to President Barack Obama.

Cole, who just earned 10 BET Hip Hop Awards nominations, frankly weighed in on light- vs. dark-skinned divide that continues to embroil hip-hop.

As BET noted, music videos often feature light-skinned models, and J. Cole has made a concerted effort to challenge that paradigm of late.

Why is that? He says, "I can’t say for sure but I just think we’re still in America. We’re still Black Americans. Those mental chains are still in us."

"That brainwashing that tells us that light skin is better, it’s subconsciously in us, whether we know it or not, still pursuing light skin women."

"There are some women out there that are like, 'I don’t even like light skin men' and that’s fine. But Barack Obama would not be President if he were dark skin."

The nominations are in for the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards, and Kendrick Lamar, who recently put the entire genre on BLAST, leads the way with 14 of them.

Lamar made waves in his major label debut, calling out some of rap’s best and warning them about his aim for hip hop’s top spot on Big Sean’s “Control”.

BET noticed. In a statement to the AP, the network Kendrick Lamar received the most nominations with 14, while Drake scored 13 and J. Cole 10.

The eighth annual BET Hip Hop Awards will air October 15, though they will be taped September 28 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center.

For the first time, Snoop Dogg will host the show. Yes, Snoop Dogg is the MC.

Lady Gaga is raising eyebrows after encouraging questionable practices to push her new song "Applause" to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Last week, the Mother Monster held a contest in which she urged fans to buy multiple digital copies of "Applause," with the chance to meet her.

Some of her more insane fans went to great lengths to win that honor, but the singer wasn't done there, continuing to push the video on YouTube.

Self-promotion is standard, but Gaga Tweeted a link allowing users to watch the "Applause" 150 times in a row, drawing the attention of Billboard.

Billboard's Bill Werde took issue with this seemingly cheap tactic to rack up BS video views, taking to Twitter to speak out against the practice:
