Directed and narrated by Lady Gaga herself and clocking in at nearly two minutes, the star has released a preview for her new music video that pays homage to high school feminist literature like The Bell Jar and Girl, Interrupted.

"Marry the Night: The Prelude Pathetique" begins with a voiceover, saying:

"When I look back on my life, it's not that I don't want to see things exactly as they happened, it's just that I prefer to remember them in an artistic way."

"And, truthfully, the lie of it all is much more honest because I invented it," Lady Gaga continues, a close-up of her face filling the screen. Deep stuff right here:

"Clinical psychology tells us arguably that trauma is the ultimate killer. Memories are not recycled like atoms and particles in quantum physics - they can all be lost forever," continues the 25-year-old modern-day chanteuse philosopher.

"It's sort of like my past is an unfinished painting, and as the artist of that painting, I must now fill in all the ugly holes and make it beautiful again."

With her relentless pursuit of artistic expression, it's safe to say that Lady Gaga fills in any ugly holes on THG and makes it beautiful every day.

Brace yourselves. Rebecca Black is back!

Rebecca Black on America's Got Talent

The 14-year old - who many believe represents the Apocalypse in the music industry, following her release of "Friday" - has released a new video, this one in honor of the single "Person of Interest." No, the track is not based around Michael Emerson as a mysterious billionaire who fights crime with the use of a special machine.

How successful will the new song be? We'll soon find out, but Black has set the bar awfully high for herself: the video for "Friday" has been viewed over 200 million times on YouTube.

What do you think of Rebecca Black's latest?

Rihanna just leaked a brand new song from her upcoming album.

“You Da One" is the second single from RiRi's Talk That Talk, which drops November 21, and according to the singer, she chose it as her latest single (following "We Found Love") because it's her “fav r[ight]t now, doesn’t sound like anything else.”

But is that a good thing? Take a listen and tell us below ...

What did you think of Rihanna's "You Da One" ...

Will "The One That Got Away" be Katy Perry's sixth straight #1 hit?

She hopes so, and thinks today's video release date might be good luck.

On Ellen DeGeneres' show this morning, Katy noted that if you took six #1's and lined them up, you'd get 11/11/11. We totally didn't think of that earlier.

Check out the video, which debuted during her interview with Ellen, and see if you think it's up there with some of her other recent, instant pop hits:

Not bad, huh? She sure does love dressing up in elaborate costumes.

On a really cool note, Perry announced that she will be holding a special free concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles for all her fans on November 23! Free!

Switching gears, she says she wants to start "poppin' kids left and right" before long.

"As long as it doesn't hurt the first time. I'll keep popping them out," Katy claims.

So basically, she and Russell are only gonna have one kid, but it'll be cute!

The X Factor features a pair of very young, very talented contestants in Rachel Crow and Drew Ryniewicz.

But this 13-year old and this 14-year old are practically hardened veterans when compared to Willow Smith, 11, who took to the stage last night during a results show that sent a second straight group home.

Watch Smith's performance of "Fireball" now and let's hope Crow and company are taking notes. Yes, it helps to have a very famous father, but Willow is also an impressive performer. See for yourself:

Madonna has yet to announce what her 12th album, scheduled for release next year, will be called, but her new single, "Give Me All Your Love," has been leaked.

With hints of what made her '80s music great and elements of current-day pop, this song may get what its title demands among diehard fans of Her Madgesty.

Some are already calling it the musical equivalent of hydrangeas, though.

Madonna and her manager, Guy Oseary, responded that the leak is merely a demo and that completed versions of her new tracks won’t be released until 2012.

Damage control? Listen to the new song below and see what you think:

Justin Bieber can take a deep breath. His ongoing baby scandal clearly is not impacting his career, at least not in any negative sense.

The numbers are in and Bieber's "Under the Mistletoe" has become the first holiday CD by a male artist to ever debut at number-one on the Billboard 200. Not shabby, huh? It's only the eighth holiday album ever to hold this spot, with Susan Boyle the last artist to accomplish the feat in 2010.

Another impressive fact: This marks Justin’s third number-one album, making him the first solo artist of all-time to reach that pinnacle three times before turning before 18.

Congrats, JB!
