It wasn't all that long ago that Iggy Azalea was trying to kick off a career as a pop princess. (If you haven't watched the "Nothing Like Me" video yet, you really should.)

Who would have thought that just six years later, that sheepish Britney-in-training would become the undisputed Queen of Rap?

Iggy Azalea at the Billboard Music Awards

Iggy's been breaking sales records for months now, but her latest achievement is a big one, and it puts her alone at the top of the current hip hop heap.

With the release of her new single, "Black Widow," Iggy is now the only rapper to ever have three top ten hits on the Billboard charts at the same time.

You read that right: not the first woman, not the first of this decade...the first rapper ever to achieve this feat.

After weeks spent teasing it (mostly while wearing a g-string), Nicki Minaj finally released the music video for "Anaconda" very early this morning.

And almost every second of the footage is Nicki Minaj at her most Nicki Minaj-est.

She's Twerking. Lap dancing on Drake. Doing sexy bicep and booty workouts.

She's spraying whipped cream on her chest and eating a banana and doing pretty much everything possible to make sure your anaconda grows while you watch.

If you know what we mean! No? Not sure what we mean? Honestly?

Cycle through these Anaconda music video GIFs and you will!

Nicki Minaj has given Drake an up close and VERY personal view of her music video for "Anaconda."

As teased in a number of sexy stills, the female rapper gives her fellow artist a lap dance in the footage, which Minaj released very early this morning to the universe.

"My babies r trending it already. Let’s go! #AnacondaVideoAtMidnight," Minaj Tweeted about an hour after this unveiling.

The track samples “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-a-Lot and the video is directed by Colin Tilley. Check it out now:

Anaconda, of course, is a euphemism for... you know what.

Taylor Swift has sent a clear message with her new single: Eff the haters!

The singer released "Shake It Off" last night, a pop anthem that basically tells folks to shake off any kind of criticism, an appropriate message considering Earl Sweatshirt thinks Swift is being racist.

But Swift didn't concern herself with critics last night. Instead, she hosted a pizza party with fans!

What do you have to say about cheerleaders NOW, Taylor?

A number of Swifties (is that what they're called?) were hand-picked to participate in the Yahoo live stream and were then invited back to Taylor's apartment in the Big Apple.

If there's one thing Taylor Swift knows how to do it's give good GIF.

The girl can't stop - won't stop - dancing, leading to hilarity and entertainment for all of us in addition to her cheesy, catchy music that we hate to admit we actually enjoy.

Win-win! She's the GIF that keeps on giving.

Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" music video hit the Internet this week and further cemented our love for the country star - sorry, pop singer - and serial dater extraordinaire.

One who has, it's worth noting, currently been single for longer than ever in the entire time we've known her name. In any case, "Shake It Off" features T-Swift doing what she does best.

Dancing (terribly) like nobody's watching, she might just be poking fun at herself, but we're pretty sure she's also doing it to replenish the world's supply of Taylor Swift GIFs.

Check out the gallery above for no fewer than 27 examples from her latest music video masterpiece, and check out the official "Shake It Off" release below as well:

Taylor Swift has come out with a new song titled "Shake It Off."

In a Yahoo Live Stream chat yesterday, the singer explained this track as a sort of Eff You to the haters, saying she's learned not to grow “bitter” or “insane” over personal slights.

And now here comes Earl Sweatshirt to see if Swift really means that.

The rapper wrote on Twitter last night that Swift’s video (which partially features her dancing alongside Twerking women and breakdancers) is “inherently offensive and ultimately harmful.”

Sweatshirt noted that he hasn’t viewed the footage, but it’s clearly “perpetuating black stereotypes to the same demographic of white girls who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love of the culture.”

We think we know who Drake is voting for in this Battle of the Booties.

The (VERY) lucky singer is on the receiving end of a Nicki Minaj lap dance in a series of photos released by Minaj late on Monday, all of which tease tomorrow's release of her "Anaconda" music video.

The artist, of course, has used her impressive rear end to promote the track for weeks, initially releasing cover art that depicts her in nothing but a g-string.

Nicki went on to complain about a double standard for African-American women who pose in racy fashion versus white women who do the same... but Drake doesn't look like he has a problem with it, does he?

Minaj will also perform "Anaconda" this Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Taylor Swift nearly brought down the Internet last night.

The artist hosted a special Yahoo live stream event in New York City, telling fans about her next album, a pop music-filled CD titled “1989” that Swift labeled as a “rebirth.”

The superstar labeled the 1980s as a “time of limitless potential,” adding that you could “be who you want, wear what you want [and] do what you want" during that decade, taking that theme and applying it to her latest music video.

It's for the track "Shake It Off," which will be included on "1989," and it features Swift taking on various personas, including what appears to be version of Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga.

See what we mean in these stills:

"Over the last few years I've learned a very important lesson," Swift said of the inspiration behind this single, explaining:

"We cannot control what people say about us but we can control how we react to it. We can let it get to us, make us bitter, even drive us insane or we can shake it off.”

We already know Taylor Swift is a little bit country.

Now, she's set to prove that she's also a little bit pop.

During a much-hyped Yahoo Live Stream today, the superstar said she will soon come out with her "very first, documented, official pop album." It will be titled "1989," the year Swift was born.

"The inspiration behind the record, I was listening to a lot of late-80s pop,” said Swift, noting the period “was a time of just limitless potential; wear what you want, be who you want, love who you want."

The album will feature 13 special polaroids, such as the one that graces the cover (above).
