According to reports, Tupac's hologram performance at Coachella has Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre thinking of taking the late rapper's CGI likeness with them on tour.

Tupac died back in 1996 (well, according to some people), but he was introduced to a whole new generation of fans thanks to the wizards at Digital Domain.

The Hollywood firm created a CGI version of the rapper performing on "Hail Mary" and "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" at the Coachella Festival this weekend:

Using angled reflectors to create the illusion that he was actually alive and on stage, video of the stunt hit the Internet and became a viral sensation Monday.

It also looked like Tupac's been busy at the gym in the afterlife.

Anyway, old 2Pac friends and collaborators Dre and Snoop told the Wall Street Journal that the two are considering mounting an arena tour - with digi-Pac.

"This is just the beginning," Digital Domain's chief creative officer, Ed Ulbrich, told the paper. "Dre has a massive vision for this." That got us thinking ...

Talk to THG: If the Tupac Shakur hologram performed at a venue in your hometown, would you pay to go see that crazy mofo?

And more importantly, is Tupac even dead?

The musical guest that night? None other than Rihanna!

Manning previously appeared on the program five years ago, but only as audience member when his big brother Peyton Manning hosted the broadcast.

It will be Rihanna's third musical appearance on SNL.

  • Rih-anna

The five-time Grammy winner visited the late night institution in October 2010, with Mad Men star Jon Hamm handling hosting duties on that occasion.

Haywood and Cashiola (a record executive) were friends for years before they started dating, going public with their romance in early November.

Haywood then proposed the following month by spelling out Will you marry me? on the side of Cashiola's house in Christmas lights.

We wish these two nothing but the best!

Break out the champagne glasses and the motherf--kin' condoms.

This weekend's Coachella festival was the place to be. Everyone was there. Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Vanessa Hudgens, Lindsay Lohan ... even Tupac!!

Say what now? The late rapper appeared as a hologram (seriously).

Check out the video below of a startlingly real-looking 2Pac "performing" two of his hits, including "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" with Snoop Dogg (seriously):

Somewhere, conspiracy theorists are salivating over this and insisting it's actually 'Pac, and the media is just telling us that it's a hologram because he's still the most wanted motherf--ker in America. West side 'til we die b!tchez.

Robin Gibb has been in a coma since Friday, and doctors fear he has just days to live. The 62-year-old Bee Gees singer is now battling pneumonia.

He was first diagnosed with cancer after surgery for a blocked bowel in 2010, with the disease later spreading to his liver.

Now things have taken a turn for the worse once again.

The musician's latest setback comes after having undergone a series of operations and treatments, and amid reports of a new tumor.

Robin Gibb's wife Dwina, his children and his brother Barry have been praying at his bedside at a private hospital in Chelsea, West London.

The star’s son Robin-John, 29 - known as RJ for short - said he would do ‘anything’ to have his father make a swift and full recovery.

Here's hoping he gets that chance.

The controversial Trayvon Martin case has inspired protests, PSAs, debate, anger, prayer and vigils for the slain 17-year-old from coast to coast.

Now Wyclef Jean has penned his own musical tribute to Trayvon.

The Fugees musician teamed up with Prescribed and J. Williams to create a track titled "Justice (If You're 17)" in dedication to Martin. Listen:

Some lyrical excerpts from Wyclef's call for "Justice" include:

"If you're 17 / And you're wearing a hoodie / You're on the phone / Talking to your shorty / Make no mistake / There's one like you / In every city / You know the story."

"If you're 17 with a hoodie on / Watch out for the neighborhood watcher / If you're at the right neighborhood at the wrong time / Neighborhood watcher / This might be your last call to your girlfriend / The neighborhood watcher / Man I feel for you if you're 17."

This past week saw George Zimmerman charged with murder in the February 26 shooting of Martin, following more than a month of unrest.

Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Fla., claims he killed Martin in self-defense and that the teen was the aggressor.

Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" was apparently the song of the week on Fox. Two hit shows on the network featured covers of it in as many nights!

Tuesday, on Glee, Matt Bomer’s guest appearance as the older brother of Darren Criss' character featured a scene in which the two duet on the catchy track.

While it was something of an odd choice to have brothers singing this song, as its lyrics imply a breakup between a couple, the guys absolutely killed.

Wednesday, on American Idol's top seven performance show, Phillip Phillips and Elise Testone tag-teamed it. Which cover was better? Watch both and vote below:

Which show's cover of "Somebody That I Used to Know" was best?
