Lana Del Rey is no stranger to controversy. We recently learned that Lana slept with "a lot of guys" in order to become famous, and the enigmatic songstress has made no effort to clarify her statement in the week since.

Prior to that Lana wished she was dead in one interview, and encouraged fans not to listen to her music in another. And don't even get us started on her weird dalliances with James Franco.

What we're saying is, Lana's latest album, Ultraviolence, has had one of the weirder promotional campaigns in recent memory.

Still, nothing that Lana has said to the press has incurred as much wrath as the record's title track, the video for which debuted today:

Yes, "Ultraviolence" follows "Shades of Cool" off as the third single off of Lana's already best-selling album. Pay close attention to the lyrics and you may see why women's rights groups are less than pleased with the track.

Chris Brown and Drake’s short-lived bromance appears to be in full swing, with the former crooning to the latter's song in an amusing new Instagram video.

Using a very theatrical, feminine and exaggerated falsetto voice, Chris sings a few bars from Drizzy's "0-100 (Real Quick)," clearly cracking himself up.

Brown captioned the post, “Ima GANGSTA n*gga!” Watch:

While some celebrity gossip sites jumped on this as a sign that their once-infamous feud may be back on, we're going with the opposite conclusion.

This strikes us as Chris being silly more than anything.

Everyone was shocked to see Chris Brown and Drake in the studio together this month, and to see Chris rap along to a Drake song on Instagram.

All the bad blood over Rihanna (and their nightclub fight from 2012) feels like a distant memory, and they even spoofed the beef in an ESPYs skit.

Yes, Chris is having some fun at Drake's expense here, but it seems pretty light-hearted and out of mutual respect, rather than a cheap shot.

Ray J, the man who did Kim Kardashian on video and made her a star, and years later rapped that "I Hit It First," is apparently in a pensive mood lately.

The Man, the Myth, the Legend bares his soul in a new track entitled "Never Shoulda Did That," expressing regrets for a host of things over the years.

"F--king bitches on camera, shouldn't a did that s--t," Ray laments in the music video, an obvious reference to the Kim Kardashian sex tape. Watch:

Sex tape aside, Ray also "Never Shoulda Did That" when it comes to doing drugs, getting into fights at clubs, beefing with friends, and cheating on Princess Love.

That would be his girlfriend, who is also the voice drunkenly weeping on a voicemail in the song, according to TMZ. Pretty deep, powerful stuff, Ray.

Also deep? Ray's pockets, thanks to the Kim sex video.

Dude is still making major bank off of Kim K Superstar, and even donated one month's royalties in honor of her wedding to Kanye West recently.

Hilary Duff's hiatus is over. The singer-actress is back and "Chasing the Sun" in a new music video, which features the 26-year-old sizzling in a bikini:

Duff croons in the upbeat pop track, "I'm chasing the sun / Won't miss out on the fun / Gotta get it while our hearts are young / I'm chasing the sun."

The video begins in a corporate office (BOOO!) where Duff plays a maligned employee (she's an actress, after all) slaving away at the daily grind.

Fortunately, she can daydream ... about spending her hours outside.

As her thoughts wander, we're treated to images of Hilary lying in the sand in a bikini and getting a sunscreen rubdown from a hot male companion.

Avert your eyes, Mike Comrie.

Watch Hilary's music video above and tell us what you think, then check out this gallery of other child stars then and now ... how the time flies:

There's been a lot of speculation today as to why Nicki Minaj postponed the release of her new single "Anaconda," but most of it doesn't make much sense.

After all, Minaj garnered a huge amount of online buzz when the "Anaconda" cover art was released last week. Nicki's booty-ful pose caused such a stir online that the "Anaconda" memes still show no sign of stopping:

The Original
The booty that launched a thousand memes.

What could possibly stop her from capitalizing on that sort of free publicity? Surely, it doesn't have anything to do with Nicki doing cameo voice work for the Cartoon Network show Steven Universe as some sources have suggested.

No, we're guessing only one thing would stop Nicki from sticking with her original agenda: a challenge from a formidable rap rival who could conceivably embarrass Nicki by outselling her without a fraction of the press and promotions enjoyed by "Anaconda."

Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea seemed to come out of nowhere this summer with two chart-topping hits in "Problem" and "Fancy."

Iggy's rapid ascent has caused onlookers to cry foul, understandably confused with the way Azalea went from virtual unknown to hottest rapper in the game seemingly overnight.

Some artists, such as Nicki Minaj, have claimed that Iggy's success is evidence of racism within the recording industry.

Nicki and several others in the world of hip hop have gone so far as to suggest that Iggy doesn't write her own rhymes. Some have even taken the accusation a step further, claiming that they know the identity of the ghostwriter behind Iggy's hits:

Iggy provided a guest verse on "No Mediocre," a track from the rap veteran T.I.'s ninth studio album, and it's been rumored that their collaboration didn't end there.

Recently, T.I. addressed rumors that he's the lyrical genius behind Iggy's meteoric rise:

Justin Bieber is back, folks!

Back to possibly acting like lying douchebag by pretending he needed a wheelchair in order to cut lines at Disneyland? Sadly, yes.

But also back to making music!!!

The artist stunned fans in the best possible way last night by releasing a multitude of new song clips on Instagram; each is 15 second in length and each features never-before-heard tracks by The Biebs.

Bieber revealed nothing about the singles except to Tweet that he had a “great night in the studio.”

Sit back, enjoy Bieber's new songs and let's all hope they're leading to a new album in the near future:

See, Justin? Isn't it better to release fresh music than to party loudly and smoke marijuana with your friends?
