Beyonce has dropped her first new single since 2011.

Titled "Bow Down/I Been On," the song follows the leaking of a rumored Beyonce track list for her upcoming album.

Of course, this single - which was produced by Hit-Boy and references the superstar's personal and professional worlds via such lyrics as "I took some time to live my life, don't think I'm just his little wife..." - wasn't included on that rundown.

Vanderbilt University student Michael Pollack went to see Billy Joel give a lecture/concert this winter when, during a Q&A session, he made the ballsiest request ever:

And... she's off!

Following a slew of magazine interviews over the past month - she's scared of ending up alone in a bathtub, she is sick of misleading portrayals in the media - Taylor Swift let her music do the talking last night.

The superstar kicked off her Red tour in Omaha, dressing at various points in revealing outfits that included a corset and a very short red dress.

Among the numbers she belted out for fans? "The Lucky One," "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "22." Give each performance a look and a listen now:

Former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr has died from multiple sclerosis.

He was 56 years old. Steve Harris, the heavy metal band's founder and bass player, said upon hearing of Burr's death that it was "terribly sad news."

"He was a wonderful person and an amazing drummer who made a valuable contribution to Maiden in the early days when we were starting out."

Burr joined Iron Maiden in 1979 and played on their first three albums.

Taylor Swift kicks off her national tour today in Omaha, Nebraska.

And in anticipation of that event, the superstar unveiled her music video for the track "22" on Good Morning America a few hours ago, explaining that it's extra special because it stars her actual friends.

The song is all about life at that confusing age, where most people aren't sure about a whole lot in this world except how much they can rely on those closest to them.

The ghost of Biggie Smalls - as well as the late rapper's children - are set to star in a new animated TV show. Seriously. This is an actual project.

The show will focus on Biggie Smalls' offspring and how they're running his New York recording studio, producers from Ossian Media said.

House of Wallace will star T'yanna Wallace, 19, and C.J. Wallace, 16, voicing their animated likenesses. The hip-hop legend's kids said in a statement:

"It's been 16 years since our Dad was murdered and we miss him dearly."

Peter Banks, the guitarist for the band Yes, has died at the age of 65.

A statement on Banks' website that he passed away on March 7 and was found in his London home after he failed to show up for a recording session.

Widely considered a pioneer of progressive rock guitar, his loss was mourned in a statement by fellow band members from Yes, which was formed in 1968.

"We are all deeply saddened to learn about the passing of fellow bandmate and founding Yes member, Peter Banks," the group statement said.

Frank Ocean is being sued. No, not by Chris Brown.

Producer Micah Otano claims he was deprived of credit for work on Ocean's hit "Lost," which was featured on his Grammy-winning album channel Orange.

Otano citeds breach of contract, fraud in the inducement, rescission and restitution, copyright infringement and declaratory relief in his suit against Ocean.

He insists he co-created the song upon which "Lost" is based and "solely performed the lead synthesizer parts on ‘Daylight' as well as piano and other parts."
