Taylor Swift may croon about a love lost - and then found... and then lost again - in her latest hit track, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

But the wildly popular singer is anything but sad about the split in that single's just-released full-length music video.

Watch below as Swift makes multiple costume changes and parties it up with friends, all of whom sing along to the chorus and seem quite pleased their pal has left the mystery subject of the song behind.

In real life, of course, Taylor has a different reason to celebrate: she's totally in love with Conor Kennedy!

Sources even claim marriage may be in this young couple's future. EEK!

Legendary rock band Van Halen has postponed an upcoming tour of Japan because it's lead singer went under the knife this week.

Said the group in a statement: "Eddie underwent an emergency surgery for a severe bout of Diverticulitis. No further surgeries are needed and a full recovery is expected within 4 - 6 months."

Diverticulitis involved the inflammation of one's colon and become very serious if left untreated.

Due to this procedure on the 57-year old, Van Halen has canceled its November run of concerts in Japan. But hopes to reschedule for some time in 2013.

Get better soon, Eddie!

Our love affair with Kelly Clarkson knows no bounds.

As the American Idol champion continues to take fan requests across the nation, we've been chronicling her journey of covers by posting Clarkson's takes on Kings of Leon, Florence + the Machine and many others.

The latest performance took place last night in Canandaigua, New York and involved Kelly honoring one of her idols, Mariah Carey. Who will always be Clarkson's baby? Brandon Blackstock, she hopes.

Will.i.am has made music history in the most unusual of ways.

One of his songs - appropriately called "Reach For the Stars" - was played back by NASA's Mars Curiosity rover as part of a collaboration between the national space agency and the Black Eyed Peas rapper's educational i.am.angel Foundation.

As such, it became the first song ever played from Mars!

With no speakers on the rover, however, the track was sadly not played on the red planet itself ... all the UFOs on Mars really missed out.

Thanks to the Carly Rae Jepsen smash sweeping the nation, we've been treated to a number of hilarious Call Me Maybe covers.

But Insane Clown Posse members Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have now filmed the first-ever Mystery Science 300-esque breakdown of that track's music video - and it's downright awesome.

The face-painted artists sit around and breakdown the action in front of them, from commenting on whether they'd get it on with Jepsen... to the video's unrealistic portrayal of a gardener... to the band's resemblance to the CreditScore.com guys... to the "twist" of an ending that seems to truly take the duo by surprise.

Who came up with this idea? We have no clue. But let's hope it isn't the last we see of Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope serving as music video critics.

Journey has been hired to perform at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., on Thursday night, at a reported price of $500,000.

This doesn't necessarily mean they endorse Mitt Romney, however.

Journey Band Photo

"It's an RNC event, but not one to endorse any candidate or party," a source tells E! News.

"I believe Journey and also Zac Brown [also set to play Thursday] are described as nonpartisan but they aren't aware of any of the details themselves."

"To Journey, it's simple, one of hundreds of private [events] they get hired to do."

No word if everyone's favorite groupie Michaele Salahi will be on hand in Tampa.

Kid Rock, Trace Adkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Oak Ridge Boys and Lee Greenwood are also scheduled to perform at private events during the convention.

Sadly, no Dave Mustaine, Ted Nugent or Toby Keith at the RNC.

Kelly Clarkson hit up two more cities during her latest tour this weekend, covering a recent hit song at each stop.

And as the first-ever American Idol has been taking fan requests everywhere she goes, THG has been posting them for readers to enjoy. Because she's simply that awesome.

Most recently, Clarkson traveled back over a decade and treated us to a version of TLC's "No Scrubs." The performance proceeded Kelly traveling back just a few seconds and doing up Carly Rae Jepsen's summer smash.

On Saturday in Mansfield, MA, meanwhile, it was time for some Kings of Leon. Watch Clarkson cover "Cold Desert" in the following video:

50 Cent's new music video has been released, and let's just say that "Be My Bitch" does not lack for directness. It's about raw sexual compatibility.

Featuring a couple of full-figured models moving ever-so-slowly - first in an empty bar and later in a four-post bed - it's nothing if not poetry in motion.

You also have to love the hilarious plug for 50 Cent's self-branded headphones ... smack in the middle of a threesome. Give it up for marketing:

The track is on the new album from 50, who made headlines this month for calling Kim Kardashian trash. Look for Street King Immortal November 13.

The Veronicas have broken down their recent dance track "Lolita."

And added a splash of Justin Bieber in to the mix.

In the following video, this popular duo just sits on a table and sings along to the chord of a guitar, as the sisters go all acoustic and mash up "Lolita" with Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me." It's a fun, different take on the fast-paced version of the single.

And we actually like it a lot better. See if you agree now:
