Britney Spears has made us say "Ooh La La" for years, if you know what we mean. Now she's going "Ooh La La" for the Smurfs, if you know what we mean.

We mean:

  1. She's hot
  2. She's recording that song for The Smurfs 2!
Spears Smiles?

Says Britney:

"I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie."

Chris Brown is responding to accusations that will.i.am ripped off a song by Arty and Mat Zo to make his latest track "Let's Go," which features Brown.

"I don't even know who mat zo Or arty is? I ain't got s--t to do wit if ur mad or not. Someone asked for a feature on a record and I did it," Brown Tweeted.

Eloquent as always ... but we see his point.

Will.i.am, meanwhile, has not yet responded to the claims from Arty and Mat Zo that he ganked the duo's dance track "Rebound." Here's both:

"They never cleared rights through Anjunabeats, who's only one label, who ownes [sic] the rights for 'Rebound,'" Arty tweeted of the alleged pilfering.

The backlash was so severe that his collaborator tried to quell the feud.

"Gentleman," PSY's follow-up to "Gangnam Style," has already made history.

The South Korean rapper's video already has 110 million views on YouTube, 18.9 of which came in its first day of release, shattering the previous record.

The fact that few people understand the PSY "Gentleman" lyrics didn't stop him from surpassing the 10.6 million views earned by Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend."

He has a ways to go to catch "Gangnam Style," the all-time most-watched clip with 1.5 billion views, but he can safely no longer be called a one-hit wonder.

"Gentleman" currently ranks 14th in the U.S. on Apple's iTunes chart while skyrocketing into the Top 10 in Canada, France, Australia and other nations.

"Girls Love Beyonce" is a new beat-laden song from Drake, paying homage to Bey's famous girl group by borrowing the hook from "Say My Name."

The very first lyrics to the introspective song, which Drake dropped late Monday, and which features singer-songwriter James Fauntleroy:

"I know girls love Beyonce. Girls love to f--k with your conscience."

Pretty much sums up women right there, are we right guys?

She donned several outfits, she performed over 20 songs - and she brought the crowd to its feet again and again with such classics as "Irreplaceable" and "Crazy in Love."

PSY is back with another hit single.

While the PSY "Gentleman" music video is hilarious (and not cheaply produced), the lyrics are mostly in Korean and thus incomprehensible to many fans.

Until now!

PSY's new song is basically about a cool guy with courage, spirit and craziness picking up ladies, pulling out all the stops and going way over the top.

Closing in on 100 million YouTube views in three days, safe to say the "Gangnam Style" rapper has at least a moderately successful follow-up on his hands.

But what the heck is he talking about as he puts the moves on K-pop star Ga-In? Lyrics translated into English (via ABC 23 News) after the jump ...

The THG Way Too Talented Kid of the Day Award hereby goes to this adorable seven-year-old girl, who's been turning heads online with her guitar work.

Listen to her perform Guns N' Roses' classic "Sweet Child O' Mine" ...

The really cool part - besides her age and the fact that she plays so well - is how she transitions between Slash's lead / solo and Izzy Stradlin's rhythm guitar.

Like it's not even a thing, either. Someone get her a record deal!

What did your kid do today? Probably not cover "Paradise City," but then again, this one threw back a foul ball at the A's game... so the bar is set pretty low.

Pitbull has released a response to Jay-Z's "Open Letter", which itself was a response to politicians critical of his recent trip to Cuba with Beyonce.

We know. It's confusing, and his song lyrics make it even more so.

Pitbull, a.k.a. Mr. Worldwide, is a rapper known for everybody-come-together-and-party anthems and not for subtlety or wading into political waters.

His "Open Letter" is certainly ... different.
