America's Next Top Model is getting even fiercer this year.

Reality TV fashionistas Kim Kardashian and Lauren Conrad are both set to appear in cycle 13 as celebrity judges, according to various news reports.

Per the CW, Kim and Lauren will do one episode each.

Look for The Hills retiree LC to take a seat at the judges table first, appearing alongside Tyra Banks and company on Wednesday, September 16.

The following Monday, October 21, Kim Kardashian komes on.

Mark your calendars for then, fashion followers. We can't wait to see what these celebrity gossip stables bring to the table on ANTM ...

America's Next Top Model will also feature as guest judges Chanel Iman (September 9), China Chow (September 30), Josie Maran (October 7) and Kirsty Hume (October 28). 90210 star Jessica Lowndes makes an appearance on October 31.

Lowndes won't be judging, but she does put the girls' "interviewing skills" to the test. Whatever the heck that means, we're sure it's gonna be sweet.

What Kim Kardashian contiributes to any fashion or modeling discussion, we have no idea. Lauren at least has a clothing line. Still, we kan't wait!

When the stars of two badly-scripted shows collide in a style showdown, there is no telling who prevails! Just kidding. Well, sort of. Eh, not really.

First, we have Lauren Conrad. The former star of The Hills and aspiring movie producer wore a Gypsy 05 maxidress to a charity event in early June.

Meanwhile, 90210 actress AnnaLynne McCord wore her tie-dyed silk dress for her 22nd birthday bash on the beach this month. It looks similar.

Will Lauren Conrad soon be adding "producer" to her resume as well?

The former star of The Hills, whose debut novel L.A. Candy topped the New York Times Best Seller list for two consecutive weeks, could be adapting it for film.

"Lauren's goal is to get into producing. It always was," a source says. "It was always to make L.A. Candy into a film or TV show. She's been in talks about it."

While "no deal [is] in place just yet, that's her ultimate goal."

Lauren Conrad confirmed to the New York Daily News that she's "hoping for a movie deal," but doesn't "want to commit to anything until I see all options."

"She would never star in it because she doesn't want to be an actress," says the source. "She spent so long on TV ... [she] would love to produce."

So just to sum up, LC would be producing a movie about a book that was based about a reality show about her life. Talk about life imitating ... life.

We wish Lauren nothing but the best. It's nice to see someone taking a break from the spotlight for once. Now if only she would text Brody Jenner.

The once-tight friendship between Audrina Patridge and Brody Jenner is estranged, as we know, after her hookup with him and ensuing feud with Jayde Nicole.

But believe it or not, the once inseparable Brody Jenner-Lauren Conrad duo is no longer attached at the hip, either. LC has distanced herself from that crew.

"I haven't seen much of her since she left the show," he admitted to E! recently. "I ran into her out and about a week ago just by chance, but that's it."

"She's off somewhere. Uh, Indonesia? I don't know, maybe on her honeymoon?"

Lauren is happily dating Kyle Howard, but there is no engagement we know of.

Guess that's his way of saying he has no clue what she's up to. We know Lauren has been busy with her book tour, but she apparently hasn't been texting.

As for Kristin Cavallari, who will be replacing Lauren Conrad on The Hills this upcoming season (and who Brody also used to date), she's shaking things up.

"Kristin's obviously a little bit more opinionated, and she comes in there and likes to stir up the pot," Brody Jenner says. "Lauren is much more docile and she likes to just let things cruise by, to roll with it. It's a different kind of energy."

With all the fighting that goes on among the Hills regulars, will there ever be peace and quiet for the bickering bunch? Maybe. But with who?

"There has definitely been some reconciliation," Brody said. "I can't tell you who it was with, but there is some drama that has been put to an end."

On the season finale of The Hills, Lauren Conrad appeared to make up with Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. She even attended the couple's wedding.

But based on a few quotes in August's Harper's Bazaar, it appears that - gasp!!! - the reconciliation was staged by MTV.

When asked why her former BFF was stripping down for the the September issue of Playboy, Conrad referenced Montag's surgically enhanced breasts and said:

"They're not going to pay for themselves."

Lauren wasn't done twisting the knife into the attention-starved couple known as Speidi, either.

"I don't call magazines and let them know about things so they can write stories," LC said. "There was never an incentive to keep doing The Hills so I could get into [Hollywood club] Les Deux. That was never the point. It was more to create a fan base so I can go create a business and do something I really love doing."

Overall, though Conrad takes the same approach as most our staff members: "[Heidi and Spencer] are very entertaining. You have to laugh."

Agreed. You also need to occasionally question the future of all mankind, as long as Spencer and Heidi continue to get paid thousands of dollars for staging photo opportunities.

We saw a sneak peek at Lauren Conrad’s new brunette locks when she was seen on the set of a photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar. Now the images have been released!

The fashion magazine had the California girl change up her signature blonde hair for a day-long experiment. But even a wig wasn’t enough to disguise the famous LC.

“I think initially the wig threw people off, but they figured it out."

"I felt like it only disguised me for a moment, then it made me feel like I was hiding, which made me feel silly,” Lauren Conrad told Harper’s Bazaar of the change.

Lauren Conrad might have considered dying her hair dark to keep The Hills producers from for coercing her to come back on screen, but she recalls, “I went into a wig store and tried on a brown wig, and then they all laughed at me."

So after a day in her dark wig, Lauren Conrad had officially reached a verdict: “Day to day, I can only do blonde. Everything else makes me look sort of plain-Jane.”

Lauren Conrad was a fan favorite on Laguna Beach and The Hills. Her recent reality TV retirement has apparently done little to diminish that status.

The 23-year-old's debut novel, L.A. Candy, which draws parallels with LC's real life, has topped the New York Times Best Seller list - for two weeks!

"If someone said to me five years ago that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it," Conrad said.

"I am so honored that it is now a reality."

Although she is used to the spotlight, she's still in awe over her literary accomplishment, especially given that this is her first foray into fiction: "It was such a compliment to be included in something with such established names."

L.A. Candy is loosely based on the life of Lauren Conrad, and follows Jane Roberts, a 19-year-old girl who moves to Hollywood and ends up as the star of her own reality show, surrounded by all sorts of interesting characters.

The supermodel topped her Kate Moss for Topshop dress with a blazer for the opening of the British chain's Manhattan flagship store, while the retired star of The Hills opted for a light gray jacket to cover the printed mini while promoting her new book.

But the California blonde nevertheless gave up her signature hairstyle for a long brown bob – albeit only for one day while posing for a magazine.

"I got to wear a brown wig all day," LC Tweeted.

"It [was] fun though ... Kinda like playing dress up."
