The nominations are in for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, a.k.a. the next time Jennifer Lawrence puts on a dress and provides us with instant classic viral content!

Just kidding ... but maybe not really. The Silver Linings Playbook star will go up against Anne Hathaway, Emma Watson, Mila Kunis and Rebel Wilson.

For Best Female Performance, that is. For Best Male Performance, it's Ben Affleck against Bradley Cooper, Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx and Daniel Day-Lewis.

The Oscars, this is not. Tatum also nabbed a nomination in one of the show's two new categories, Best Shirtless Performance. Gotta love MTV.

As for Movie of the Year? Ted is nominated. Seriously.

When it comes to the host of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, the network has made a perfect selection.

A Pitch Perfect selection, we should say!

Rebel Wilson will become the first female emcee of this event in six years, as MTV announced the 26-year old actress will helm its annual big screen celebration on April 14.

Below, we've posted Wilson's first MTV Movie Awards trailer, which aired last night during the Jersey Shore series finale:

Once again last night, Taylor Swift made it clear to the subject of her latest single: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

Like, ever.

The wildly popular singer closed the MTV Video Music Awards with a fun version of her new smash, dressing like Waldo and prancing around on stage while the crowd sang along to the chorus. She then gave attendees in the front row an unexpected surprise:

Swift stage dove in to their arms!

Watch the rendition below, skip to around the 4:20 mark for the crowd surf and don't forget to also check out the Frank Ocean performance from the event. It was terrific.

With season two of their drama premiering on MTV after that network's Movie Awards last night, the men of Teen Wolf walked and posed on the red carpet in Los Angeles.

There was Colton Haynes (Jackson), Tyler Posey (Scott) and Tyler Hoechlin (Derek), all wearing dark outfits, all giving photographers and fans something to scream over.

But with which of these actors would you rather scream in bed... if you know what we mean? Ogle away and then vote on the hunk you'd most want to take a bite out of, while naked!

And the Winner is?

The monologue by Russell Brand may have been unfunny. And the trophy winners - from Twilight to The Hunger Games - may have been a bit predictable, but the 2012 MTV Movie Awards were a hit for at least one reason:

The red carpet fashion.

From actors to actresses, movie stars to television beautiful, the entry into The Gibson Amphitheatre was simply scorching, and not simply due to the California sun! Two perfect cases in point:

Oscar-winner Charlize Theron and Vampire Diaries witch Kat Graham. Compare their looks now and vote on your favorite:

Kristen Stewart. Who knew she had it in her?!?

At last night's MTV Movie Awards, the Twilight Saga star won Best Kiss along with co-star and real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

It was the latter's third consecutive time taking home this trophy, only in this case Pattinson and Stewart did not make out, nor did Rob kiss Taylor Lautner, because he was not in attendance.

So, what was a lonely Stewart to do on stage? Actually be funny! She called out for Chris Hemsworth as a make-out partner... then Charlize Theron... and finally Lautner ("Taylor, old friend. Help an old friend. Come on!"). When no one showed up, Kristen was forced to rely on her own lips. Watch the video now and see what we mean:

At the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday evening, host Russell Brand kicked off the event with a zany monologue in which he mocked Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen, Kim Kardashian, Michael Fassbender's penis, Katy Perry and himself.

After giving Bieber props for his alleged scuffle with a photographer, Brand said, "Justin Bieber is so pretty that even if he was attacking me, I'd do a little orgasm."

It only got zanier from there.

"The last time I hosted I did marry someone who was there, so I'm keeping my eyes open for a new wife tonight," Brand said, before shouting, "Fassbender!"

That would be Michael Fassbender, who was there to represent Prometheus.

Brand also goofed on Charlie Sheen, who was there for reasons unknown, saying he'd stashed alcohol and some cocaine under the actor's seat. You know, just in case.

Perhaps most amusingly, Brand thanked Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for taking the pressure off of him - in terms of short-lived marriages and humiliating MTV award moments, respectively - and said he hopes they make a sex tape together.

Hopefully Kanye learns from his predecessor and stays sober during it, though, because Ray J "just looked a little too pleased with himself" while nailing KK.

Brand would also shot out "Twilight!" and "Hunger Games!" intermittently and for no apparent reason. What do you think of Russell's monologue? Grade it below:

Johnny Depp is no longer one of the coolest men alive.

He is officially THE coolest man alive. At the MTV Movie Awards last night, he was not only handed the Generation Award, but joined The Black Keys live onstage for special performances of “Gold on the Ceiling” and “Lonely Boy.”

You may now add rock star to his resume:

The often-animated Depp maintained a straight face through the song, letting singer Dan Auerbach and guitarist Patrick Carney soak up the spotlight.

It was an awesome moment ... so much so that host Russell Brand had to take a break from making penis jokes to acknowledge it. Not a small feat.

Depp is far from a novice, however. A fairly accomplished musician, he's collaborated with everyone from Oasis to Alice Cooper over the past 25 years.

Still, this ranks up there with the Dark Shadows star's top moments, we're guessing. Certainly for fans, his cool quotient was never been higher.

The 2012 MTV Movie Awards were handed out last night, and to the surprise of no one, The Hunger Games and Breaking Dawn dominated the festivities.

Robsten won for Best Kiss (for the fourth consecutive year), while Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson took home best female and male performance.

Since Kristen Stewart's real-life BF wasn't there to mark the occasion, she staged an impromptu make-out session with ... herself. Awkwardly awesome.

Fans of the vampire franchise were only slightly less elated later on when Breaking Dawn: Part 1 snagged the coveted golden popcorn for Best Movie.

Meanwhile, the great Johnny Depp strapped on his guitar after accepting the Generation Award and joined The Black Keys onstage for an epic rock session

In the night's most emotional moment, Christian Bale paid tribute to Heath Ledger, showing a clip from The Dark Knight, for which he won a posthumous Oscar.

Director Christopher Nolan then introduced a sneak peek of The Dark Knight Rises.

Other notable awards include Emma Stone's first-ever Trailblazer Award and Jennifer Aniston's Dirtbag Award for her sex-crazed role in Horrible Bosses.
