The future belongs to those who know where they belong.

Still confused over what the heck was going on with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards tonight? We don't blame you.

But take a couple moments below to focus less on Twerking and more on freaking... out, that is, over the next teen-based blockbuster.

The first trailer for Divergent premiered at the VMAs, with fans of the best-selling novel getting their first look at Shailene Woodley in action as Tris. We also see Kate Winslet as the villainous Jeanine Matthews, along with Theo James coming to Tris' rescue as Four.

The film, which opens March 21, imagines a future world in which citizens are divided into factions based on their abilities. But what happens when one young lady is different? When she is Divergent from the rest?

Once again, Internet, like your issue with a censored kangaroo photo, please chill out.

A petition on is calling on Warner Bros. to reverse its decision and remove Ben Affleck as Batman, citing such problems with the actor as his Boston accent, his puny physique and his lack of intimation.

In part, the message reads:

Ben Affleck in a Hat

His acting skill is not even close to being believable as Bruce Wayne and he won't do the role justice. He's not built, nor is he intimidating enough for the role of Batman. His portrayal of Daredevil was atrocious and he's not remotely close to an action star. Please find someone else.

The petition already have 10,000 signatures, while The White House's petition system has also fielded a request... to make it ILLEGAL for Affleck to don the famous cape and cod piece.

For real.

What do YOU think? Is this an overreaction? Sound off now: Is Ben Affleck a good choice as Batman?

A new TV series based on the 1994 Reality Bites is coming to NBC, with Ben Stiller himself helming the project, according to multiple media reports.

Reality Bites Photo

Stiller, who directed and starred in the film, is revisiting it as a show and will executive produce; original screenwriter Helen Childress will pen the script.

No word if Lisa Loeb will re-record "Stay" for the opening credits. Fingers crossed.

Much like the original, the NBC series will reportedly take place in the early ’90s and center on a novice filmmaker and her slacker friends in Houston.

While no casting was announced, it’s safe to say Winona Ryder, Ethan Hawke, Stiller, Janeane Garofalo and Steve Zahn will not be reprising their roles.

It remains to be seen how effectively the humor and struggles of 1990s college graduates will translate to a 2013 audience, but you tell us, THGers:

Would you watch a Reality Bites TV show?

We've seen The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug teaser trailer before, but now the internet has come through again with a Lego trailer.

Check it out below!

Pretty well done, especially the "falling down a waterfall in a barrel" part.

It is this stop-motion style that The Lego Movie trailer seems to be paying homage too. Always nice to see the fans and their creations getting a nod from the higher ups.

The home invasion horror opens in theaters and looks to take Lee Daniels' The Butler out of the top spot in the box office race.

Earlier in the summer, The Conjuring took over the box office in fine fashion. Can You're Next follow in it's scary footsteps?

Check out these You're Next reviews, compare them to The World's End reviews and see which way you'll turn at the theater this weekend!

Injecting the home-invasion thriller with fresh DNA, Adam Wingard's "You're Next" strays just enough from formula to tweak our jaded appetites. -- Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times
