The official trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey is here. Was it worth the wait?

Our first look at the film adaption of E.L. James' erotic novel debuted on Today this morning, and it's safe to say that Matt Lauer and company don't usually see this much skin on their family friendly set.

Check it out below and see Christian Grey come to life at last ...

"Did that clip just air, or has my alarm just not gone off yet?" Lauer joked afterward.

NBC executives determined that the full trailer was a bit too risque for morning television, so they decided to go with a shortened version, but you can watch the whole thing above.

As teased in the Fifty Shades trailer posted by Beyonce earlier this week, the clip features a new, eroticized version of Bey's 2003 hit, "Crazy in Love."

After seeing his throwback '90s fanny pack photo, you'd think The Rock couldn't possibly produce an online encore that would match such greatness.

He came pretty hard close.

The star of the upcoming Hercules movie (real name Dwayne Johnson) gave fans a behind the scenes look at one of the tasks before the mythical hero:

Patty cake.

The Rock, Patty Cake

On the set of the forthcoming film, the 42-year-old Rock encountered what seemed to be a normal toddler while donning his full Hercules regalia.

Was the youngster intimidated?

Hardly. She challenged him to a game of patty cake, throwing down the gauntlet and challenging the legendary Hercules to compete for the glory.

Like any true hero, Johnson obliged.

As he later told his followers while posting the above shot, "When a two-year-old asks Hercules to play patty cake on set … well … he plays patty cake."

Nothing more needs to be said.

The release date for Star Wars: Episode VII is still almost 18 months away, but already, rumors about the plot and production seem to emerge every day.

We already know the cast of Episode VII and obsessive fans have already pieced together information about what roles each actor might be playing.

Adam Driver
Adam Driver was one of the first to be cast in the long-awaited Star Wars sequel. He's best known for his role on HBO's Girls.

Recently, photos from the set revealed that the Millennium Falcon will make an appearance, among other details, but today we might have received our biggest bonanza of leaked information to date.

A blogger named Devin Faraci claims to have uncovered a treasure trove of plot secrets (from an unnamed source, of course), and if his information is accurate we may now have a pretty good sense of how the film will begin and the sort of themes it will tackle (possible spoilers ahead):

If only, random IMAX movie theater. If only...

With this summer set to be the lowest-grossing summer in the recent history of cinema, at least one theater has found a way to draw in attendees: is anyone interested in seeing a Transformers Sex Tape?!?

Perhaps the only amateur porn that would rake in more money than the Kim Kardashian Sex Tape, we're sorry to report that a Transformers Sex Tape does not actually exist.

But the new Transformers movie does. And so does the terribly reviewed Sex Tape.

Put them together and you get our favorite marquee of the year:

Transformers Sex Tape Sign

Pretty classic stuff. The real question, of course, is this:

Would you watch a Transformers Sex Tape?

However you feel about Transformers hypothetically getting freaky on film, check out some other names that read differently when put together ...

While Charlie Hunnam famously dropped out of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie not long after being cast back in October, he still feels "invested" in it.

Speaking Sunday while promoting Sons of Anarchy Season 7, the 34-year-old actor said it was "pretty heartbreaking" to walk away from the role.

Charlie Hunnam, No Shirt

"I was just really, really invested and wanted to work with [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] and play that character," he said of billionaire Christian Grey.

On how the project will turn out in his absence, he adds, "I'm really, really curious."

Hunnam is sticking to his story that he "couldn't do it because of [my] schedule," even though numerous insiders have said he got cold feet and bailed.

While he says he has "no regrets" about the decision to back out, part of him wishes he could have brought Christian Grey to life opposite Dakota Johnson.

The Kim Kardashian sex tape, it is not.

Reviews are in for the Cameron Diaz-Jason Segel comedy Sex Tape... and very few critics are laughing.

Is this as much of a disaster as the Mimi Faust sex tape, which hasn't been received very well on the Internet? Prepare for some serious hatred and read reviews from a number of movie critics below...

When it first hit theaters in 2012, The Avengers set box office records that might never be broken. But if any movie can reach a billion dollars even faster than the first film, it's the highly-anticipated sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Today, Entertainment Weekly gave us our first look at the guaranteed-blockbuster, and the squeals of fanboy glee can be heard across the land.

Avengers: Age of Ultron Photo!

Not only does the cover promise "Marvel's biggest movie ever," but the photo marks the official debut of the film's villain, Ultron, who will be portrayed by James Spader

Yeah, Spader isn't the first actor that springs to mind when we look at that hulking mass of adamantium, but we trust that director Joss Whedon and company know what they're doing.

In addition to the returning motley crew of superheroes, Avengers: Age of Ultron features Elizabeth Olsen, who reportedly be playing Scarlet Witch.
