The very first trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road!

The blockbuster, which reboots the franchise started years ago by Mel Gibson, will be released on May 15, 2015.

It will feature Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron in lead roles and be directed by George Miller, who teased during today’s panel discussion that this Mad Max movie will take place 30 years after events on the previous one.

"A lot of time has passed," Miller says. "Technology has changed. It was an interesting thing to do. Crazy, but interesting."

The movie also stars Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Hugh Keays-Byrne and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - and you should stop whatever you are doing to watch the trailer now:

The Parents Television Council and Morality in Media are putting the first Fifty Shades of Grey trailer on blast, deeming it highly inappropriate on a number of levels.

Perhaps most jarringly for the two groups, it debuted on NBC's Today show.

PTC director of grassroots education and advocacy Melissa Henson said:

“We’re talking about basically the equivalent of a dime-store trashy romance novel. Essentially, [Today] is promoting what people refer to as ‘mommy porn.’"

Yes, she referred to it as "mommy porn." And called it "poor judgment."

Because parents often have morning news shows on with their children in the room, Henson suggests NBC should have “couched it" with a very strong disclaimer.

This, she believes, is critical given the film's strong messages.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is one "that’s romanticizing violence in relationships ... sexual violence is basically what this movie is promoting.”

Morality in Media, a group which advocates for education against pornography, was also none too thrilled with the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer's debut.

The Fifty Shades of Grey trailer finally arrived on Thursday morning, and its uber-sexy debut will no doubt leave you aching for more Christian Grey.

Or if you're Anastasia Steele, aching literally because of him.

E.L. James' story of the virginal Anastasia, who meets the not-so-innocent businessman Christian, became one of the biggest novels of this decade.

Now, for the first time, it's come to life in visual form.

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer gives us glimpses of the two meeting and falling in love ... and Christian going to WORK on his love interest:

Whips and Handcuffs!
Christian prepares to WORK Ana like you'd expect in a marvelous GIF from the Fifty Shares of Grey trailer.

The film stars as Jamie Dornan as the tortured billionaire who loves to torture his muse, and Dakota Johnson as his younger, all-too-willing companion.

While it may not be as NC-17 as fans of the book trilogy might expect, this domineering and submissive love story certainly looks steamy on screen.

The official trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey is here. Was it worth the wait?

Our first look at the film adaption of E.L. James' erotic novel debuted on Today this morning, and it's safe to say that Matt Lauer and company don't usually see this much skin on their family friendly set.

Check it out below and see Christian Grey come to life at last ...

"Did that clip just air, or has my alarm just not gone off yet?" Lauer joked afterward.

NBC executives determined that the full trailer was a bit too risque for morning television, so they decided to go with a shortened version, but you can watch the whole thing above.

As teased in the Fifty Shades trailer posted by Beyonce earlier this week, the clip features a new, eroticized version of Bey's 2003 hit, "Crazy in Love."

You won't find the first footage from Fifty Shades of Grey, 2015's most anticipated movie, in any theater. Just on Beyonce's Instagram page, obviously.

The first official trailer hits the web Thursday, and the singer subtly - seemingly, and surprisingly - revealed her involvement with the teaser below:

The video teasing the first Fifty Shades of Grey trailer features some snippets of footage with what sounds like "Crazy In Love" and the hashtag #fiftyshades.

Beyonce's connection with the Fifty Shades of Grey movie soundtrack was initially when "Haunted" popped up in 50 Shades footage that debuted at CinemaCon.

While she has not confirmed any role in the movie or its soundtrack, it would be BEYond strange if she was simply getting hyped for the adaptation.

Unless the Queen is simply excited for the movie based on the erotic books like every other soccer mom, we expect to hear more from her on the topic.

A new trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has the highly anticipated film generating controversy just as it hits US theaters.

The clip in question aired in the UK during the World Cup semi-finals and has many parents demanding a boycott of the Gary Oldman blockbuster:

It's the action that takes place around the 1:20 mark that's creating in an uproar.

In the scene, a highly-evolved simian outsmarts two humans and proceeds to blow them away with their own shotgun.

While the clip has been available online for weeks, the World Cup is the European equivalent of the Super Bowl in terms of ratings and ad revenues and its the fact that the extended trailer aired during a family-friendly TV event that has many Brits crying foul:

Lionsgate has released a new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

Following President Snow's first address to citizens of Panem, Donald Sutherland’s villainous character is back again, trying to stave off revolution via a speech about continued prosperity and stability of their nation.

Halfway through, however, the screen flickers… we move away from the all-white Capitol background (which includes Peeta and Johanna flanking President Snow)... and we receive an urgent message from Beetee, who has hacked into the feed with an urgent message:

The Mockingjay lives.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 comes out on November 21.

As previously reported, Sharknado 2 isn't just coming.

But it’s coming - and it will be bigger, bolder and even more ridiculous!

Syfy has released a new trailer for this wildly anticipated sequel, which will bring back Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, while including other Z-Listers such as Mark McGrath and Andy Dick.

It will air on July 30 and, we'd have to imagine, threaten to once again bring down Twitter, especially with amazing lines such as "You just jumped the shark!"

You can also rest easy, folks: Syfy has already ordered Sharknado 3.
