SPOILER ALERT:

Peeta is alive.

In a new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, Katniss is gearing up for a battle against the Capitol when she’s stopped in her brave tracks by a video that doesn't just feature her quasi boyfriend... it features him sending an unexpected message.

Peeta is seen telling all rebels to "lay down their weapons" and when Katniss defends him as being forced to do so by President Snow, Gale responds harshly.

"Everyone has a choice, Katniss, and I'd rather die than say what he just said," Liam Hemsworth says in the sneak peek.

Fury is set in 1945. It stars Brad Pitt as an army sergeant in command of a Sherman tank, stuck behind enemy lines with a five-person crew.

Their mission is to strike a strong blow right in the heart of of Nazi Germany... but did the film strike a positive chord with the film critics of America?

We run down their rants and raves below...

Fury is a brutal film that too easily celebrates rage and bloodshed to no clear end beyond ugly spectacle. - Tom Long

Attention to details give Fury heft and value, as does solid acting, but Ayer seems to lose his resolve in two scenes that are straight out of a Sgt. Fury Marvel Comics episode, or maybe a Hollywood script rewrite. - Peter Howell

Sadly, the only saying will ring true for Katniss Everdeen next month:

She really can't go home again. At least not to the home in which she was raised.

In the latest trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, we see Jennifer Lawrence as the reluctant hero of this beloved franchise, as she gets a close look at the damage inflicted upon her native District 12.

Did The Hunger Games really destroy Katniss? Perhaps. But she'll be willing to fight after seeing what the Capitol has done to where she grew up.

The preview is accompanied by a Lorde single and also a voiceover by Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee.

Twentieth Century Fox reportedly paid Liam Neeson $20 million for Taken 3, so there's a lot of pressure on the 62-year-old Hollywood veteran to use his "particular set of skills" to do what he does best: Namely, cracking skulls and packing audiences into the theater.

Now that the film's first trailer has been released, we can safely say Neeson is still very capable of performing at least one of those feats.

Yes, Taken 3 (or Tak3n, if you prefer, which you shouldn't) features more things being taken followed by Neeson taking them back.

You may have thought this movie already came out, but that was actually a A Walk Among the Tombstones, another film in which Neeson growls for 90 minutes straight and kicks seven kinds of ass.

Did you catch the first official Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 trailer?

Intense stuff, right? Brutal? Serious? Suspenseful? Intriguing? Not exactly any sort of romantic film with comedic aspirations, correct?

But what if The Hunger Games took quite an unexpected shift for the third movie of this wildly successful franchise? What if it were billed as a perky, fun adventure in which Jennifer Lawrence's character had to choose between two appealing male suitors?

Jimmy Kimmel asked and answered that question on his talk show last night.

"Katniss was in a difficult situation," a male voice narrates in the faux trailer above, referencing Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and explaining of her dilemma:

Did you think the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer was sexy, or unintentionally funny and awkward? Reactions were mixed online, though there's little doubt how these people feel.

A group of senior citizens known on YouTube as "The Elders" react to the trailer in the video below, and their feedback is as hilarious and cringe-worthy as you'd expect:

"Can't believe this was such a best-seller," one older fellow says.

"It just shows you how desperate the public is. Horny as hell!"

One of his female counterparts, however, gets sort of into it!

"Why is this your type of thing?" an interviewer asks the older woman regarding Fifty Shades of Grey and its emphasis on sensual play and bondage.

"I guess I'm just sexy and crazy!" she says.

One thing everyone can agree on here?

Lifetime's biopic about Brittany Murphy hasn't even aired yet (set your DVR for September 6!) but is already under fire from Murphy's father, Angelo Bertolotti.

Slamming the project in a recent interview, Bertolotti called the casting "atrocious" and disputed the validity of ... well, anything teased in the below trailer:

"I am disgusted and outraged that Lifetime decided to produce such a trashy project, defiling the memory of my beautiful, talented daughter," he said.

"The Brittany Murphy Story is absolutely an affront to everything my daughter was in real life. It's hideous, unauthorized and completely untrue."

"Amanda Fuller, the girl playing Brittany, looks nothing like her," Bertolotti added, and he's been Tweeting and re-Tweeting up a storm this week as well.

Some of his choice Twitter comments:
