Given the insane popularity of the first film featuring Elsa, Anna and Olaf, it may have seemed like a foregone conclusion that a sequel to 2013's Frozen would eventually hit theaters.

But sixteen months after the release of the most successful animated movie of all time, Disney's only response to the success of the first flick was a short entitled Frozen Fever and roughly 42 million tie-in products targeted at young girls.

Ever since we learned that Jared Leto was cast as the Joker in director David Ayers' highly-anticipated Suicide Squad, we've been trying to imagine what the svelte, long-locked, eternally youthful actor would look like as Batman's most iconic foe. 

It's probably a futile task, considering we couldn't have have conjured up an accurate image of Heath Ledger's Joker if you'd given us a thousand years and a gallon of LSD.

Fifty Shades of Grey has now spanked its competition at the box office two weeks in a row, and with two more books' worth of sexy, sexy source material, a very lucrative trilogy is all but guaranteed. Or is it?

With author E.L. James demanding more control (cue whip sound effect) and director Sam Taylor-Johnson bowing out of the sequel, Fifty Shades of Darker may wind up being more different in tone (and taking much longer to produce) than the honchos at Universal would like.
