While debate rages on regarding various Django Unchained quotes from this Oscar-nominated movie, the debate is now over regarding Django Unchained action figures.

These items have been discontinued.

Action Figures

Many advocacy ordinations - such as Project Islamic Hope and Al Sharpton's National Action Network - had spoken out against the figures because they didn't believe it was appropriate for the topic of slavery to be marketed to children.

In advance of Lovelace's Sundance Film Festival premiere, a new photo of Amanda Seyfried as legendary porn star Linda Lovelace has been released:

Amanda Seyfried as Lovelace

The actress, as you can see, is in full '70s character, just about to get to down to business with fellow porn star Harry Reems, played by Adam Brody.

Damn you Adam Brody.

That's Hank Azaria in the director's chair, with Chris Noth and Bobby Canavale on either side, FYI, ready to monitor whatever adult film magic might ensue.

Seyfried replaced Lindsay Lohan, who had to pull out (a topic she knows a lot about - WHAT) due to scheduling constraints, i.e. being on probation and in court every other day.

Think she can hack it as the iconic porn queen?

Katie Holmes was named one of GQ's sexiest women of the 21st century, due in large part to her somewhat random topless scene in the 2000 film The Gift.

The magazine pays homage to the film and Holmes' half-nude role, awarding her the honor of Hottest Scene: Can't Believe This Happened category.

"She has the same Joey Potter tics: head tilts, shoulder shrugs up, lips chew down into a lopsided grin," writer Mark Lotto says, referencing Dawson's Creek.

"But then she [reveals] her un-Joey-Potter-like breasts - exquisitely breast-like breasts, the breasts you would think of if someone said the word 'breasts.'"

Lotto jokes that Tom Cruise watches it when he feels nostalgic.

"And every time topless Katie taunts [Greg Kinnear] with a 'F-ck you,' Tom feels as if she's talking to him, and he thinks some terribly Greg Kinnearish things."

We can't post the clip here for obvious reasons, but we did post a couple of amazing screen grabs from it. Follow the link for the NSFW Katie Holmes photos!

The producers of Lindsay Lohan's upcoming indie film The Canyons are flat out stunned that the movie has been rejected by The Sundance Film Festival.

Obviously, they believe the snub is largely Lindsay's fault.

Sundance originally reached out to producers to screen the movie at the annual event, and The Canyons producers were led to believe it was a lock.

Not the case. Sundance passed, reason not given.

Movie goers have not seen the last of Jack Sparrow. Sorry: Captain Jack Sparrow.

Disney confirmed today that Pirates of the Caribbean 5 really is a go and it will be released on July 10, 2015.

So there's still plenty of time, at least for the studio to change its mind, considering each installment in this franchise has grown considerable worse.

Captain Jack Sparrow Picture

Why run it back yet again with this iconic Johnny Depp character? The first four editions grossed over $3.7 billion worldwide. So… yeah.

Movie goers were engrossed this weekend by the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, as Zero Dark Thirty topped the box office on Friday and Saturday.

The controversial drama - up for five Oscar nominations - from Kathryn Bigelow led all competitors with a $24.5 million haul, even as many argue over the film's authenticity and focus on torture.

Or perhaps because they argue over its authenticity and focus on torture.

Quentin Tarantino is sick of discussing the violence in Django Unchained.

And he's especially sick of discussing the violence of Django Unchained in relationship to real-life violence, such as the recent Newtown, Connecticut shooting.

Watch the interview below to see him go off on reporter Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who broaches this topic and is met with a response that includes:

"I refuse your question. I'm not your slave and you're not my master. You can't make me dance to your tune. I'm not a monkey."

Django Unchained was includes yesterday among the 2013 Best Picture nominees, but has also faced a rash of criticism.

Most recently, Al Sharpton's organization called out the Django Unchained action figures for being offensive to African-Americans.

Watch the interview now and react to Tarantino's reaction. Warranted or unwarranted?

With a pair of wins for Best Director and Best Picture for Argo at the Critics Choice Movie Awards. Ben Affleck's day ended much better than it started.

Less than 12 hours earlier, Affleck was among the notable Oscar snubs, left off the list of nominees at the prestigious 85th Annual Academy Awards.

Nice way to salvage the day.

Ben Affleck Wins!

When the camera panned to the married father of three, his jaw dropped as he looked around and realized the star-studded audience was on its feet.

"Thank you very much," Affleck said, collecting his Best Director award. "I would like to thank the Academy ... I'm kidding, I'm kidding! This is the one that counts."
