Did you like Seth MacFarlane's turn at hosting the Oscars this year?

Some did, many didn't. But you're not producing the Academy Awards, so unfortunately it doesn't matter. MacFarlane has been asked to return to host the 2014 Oscars.

With this year's producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, returning to produce again next year, they want the Family Guy creator to come back with them.

MacFarlane, for his part, has previously stated that he did not want to host the show again. He has been given only a few weeks to decide.

His personal life seemingly worked out - he and Kristen Stewart are together and happy! - Robert Pattinson has taken a new step in his professional life.

The actor will star in an upcoming movie titled Maps to the Stars.

Directed by David Cronenberg, with whom Pattinson worked on Cosmopolis, the movie will also star John Cusack and Julianne Moore.

It is described as an independent drama that centers on a ghost story within the celebrity-obsessed culture of Los Angeles. No release date has been set.

The Croods has done very well in its opening weeks in theaters. So well, in fact, that a sequel has just been greenlit.

DreamWorks Animation has announced that it will move forward with The Croods 2, with original writer/director duo Kirk De Micco and Chris Sanders signed on to work on it.

The Croods stars Emma Stone, Nicholas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke, and Cloris Leachman. It follows a family of Cavemen who venture out into the world after an earthquake destroys their cave.

Disney will soon be releasing a new Star Wars movie every summer, because why the heck wouldn't they?

The announcement came today at CinemaCon, and the new release schedule is set to begin in 2015.

With J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII kicking off the new trilogy in 2015, we know we'll be seeing at least two more main continuity movies after that.

But what we'll also be seeing is a series of stand-alone films that focus on individual characters in the franchise. The first two to get their own films are Han Solo and Boba Fett.

Fast & Furious 7 is currently slated for a July 11, 2014 release, Vin Diesel himself revealed yesterday during Universal's presentation at CinemaCon.

No details are known other than filming begins this summer, Diesel will return alongside co-star Paul Walker, and James Wan will direct.

The involvement of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is reportedly up in the air, so it's possible his character will have a reduced role or none at all.

In related news, both a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel and a Pitch Perfect sequel were confirmed at CinemaCon as well.

Both of those follow-ups set for 2015 releases.

We have an update on the Snow White and The Huntsman sequel.

Universal Pictures Chairman Adam Fogelson confirmed at CiemaCon yesterday that a follow-up to the 2012 hit was in the works and that it will be released some time in 2015.

The original grossed $118 million around the world, but later became especially well known because it was on the film's set where Kristen Stewart got close to director Rupert Sanders.

Another day, another major name announced for the cast of Divergent.

With Ashley Judd on board the big screen adaption of this beloved bestseller, Entertainment Weekly now confirms that the actor will also play a key role in the upcoming blockbuster:

He will portray Andrew Prior, father to heroine Shailene Woodley's Beatrice Prior and husband to Judd's Natalie.
