It has been almost 10 years since Garden State first hit theaters, and Braff hasn't returned to the role of writer/director since.

Until now.

Braff, citing frustrations with the traditional Hollywood funding system, has taken to Kickstarter to crowdfund his new film, Wish I Was Here.

Production on the upcoming Vacation movie has been delayed. The film has hit a roadblock amongst the development team, with some wanting to make it an R-rated comedy, while others want to keep it PG-13.

Ed Helms is set to star in the reboot, playing Rusty Griswold, the son of Chevy Chase's character in the original series.

Michael Bay does not apologize for Armageddon.

I repeat, he does not apologize.

Michael Bay Photo

Yesterday, we reported that Bay apologized for Armageddon, saying that he didn't have enough time to do it right. But today the director has released a statement to the contrary:

"One press writer has gone too far in reporting false information. He has printed the bare minimum of my statement which in effect have twisted my words and meaning."

Gus Van Sant is gunning to take a seat in the director's chair on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.

He's so eager to win the job, in fact, that he shot a test scene without even being asked to.

So who was his Christian Grey in the steamy sex scene? Alex Pettyfer.

Pettyfer was thrust onto the scene with last year's Magic Mike, and it appears as though the 23-year-old has already typecast himself as a hunk (poor him?).

Nearly 10 years after an underdog story for the ages, Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are prepping for their long-awaited return to the Dodgeball court.

There's no release date set, but Fox and the production company run by Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld have begun work on a script for a Dodgeball sequel.

The original underdog story featured Vince Vaughn’s aptly-named Average Joes gym squad taking on Ben Stiller’s roid-raging Globo-Gym for the glory.

The Dodgeball sequel will not be a rematch.

Better yet, it will feature the adversaries teaming up to battle an even bigger opponent this time, making for endless sophomoric slapstick comedy potential.

Quick! Name a silly "popcorn" blockbuster action movie! Did you all say Armageddon? I bet you did.

Well, Michael Bay agrees with you. The director stated in an interview published yesterday, "I will apologize for Armageddon." Whoa!

So why exactly does Michael Bay apologize for Armageddon? "I would redo the entire third act if I could," he said.
