Mike is not done working his magic by a long shot.

With the web buzzing over a possible Magic Mike 2, the hit film's star Channing Tatum took to Twitter this week to address the rumors ... and confirmed them!

“Yes yes and yes! We’re working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger," he writes, possibly waiting for your obvious punchline.

Magic Mike Cast Pic

Because it's ostensibly a male stripper movie, Magic Mike was something of a surprise hit with critics and fans alike, banking $39 million in one weekend.

Tatum has received rave reviews, and there's even been some Oscar talk - and not unwarranted - surrounding supporting actor Matthew McConaughey.

Where would a sequel take the stripper and his cohorts? Have you seen the original, and would you be excited for a Magic Mike 2? Tell us below!

With all the court dates, 911 calls and car crashes, Lindsay Lohan's whole life is like a scary movie. Why not star in an actual film by that name?

The starlet may soon score a role in Scary Movie 5, according to reports. LiLo recently met with Dimension Films' head honcho Bob Weinstein.

It is NOT a done deal though, despite the conversations.

Lindsay Lohan, Police Tape

"They had a great meeting and they are going to continue talking," a movie insider said. "But there's no part being written for her ... yet."

Both sides, multiple sources confirm, are indeed interested in working together in the fifth Scary Movie film, which will also star Ashley Tisdale.

Having wrapped Liz & Dick, a Lifetime film starring Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor, she's now shooting The Canyons with porn star James Deen.

The Avengers 2 is a go, that much is certain.

And Scarlett Johansson will most definitely reprise her role in the franchise as Black Widow. But how much will she bank for the sequel? That question is up for debate.

Sexy Scarlett Johansson

A recent New York Post report claimed the beautiful star will earn a $20 million check for the role, a number that would set a new standard for actresses, eclipsing the $19 million payday garnered by Angelina Jolie for The Tourist.

However, a rep for Johansson tells E! News he has no knowledge of such a figure, which does seem to be excessive for what amounts to a supporting role.

Then again, based on The Avengers box office haul, we're pretty sure the sequel can afford any amount.

What do you think? Is Johansson worth $20 million per movie?

Fireworks - the one that didn't fail miserably at least - weren't the only things that exploded on July 4.

The Amazing Spider-Man spun out $23.4 million yesterday alone, combing with Tuesday's total for an overall box office haul so far of $59.3 million. It's on track to gross over $125 million in its first six days of release.

Where does this figure rank in history?

Yesterday's tally goes down as the second-best showing ever on the Fourth of July, trailing only the original Transformers, which banked $29.1 million on the same Wednesday in 2007.

With mostly positive reviews and a very favorable CineScore from fans, it's pretty clear that The Amazing Spider-Man will turn Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone into official Hollywood A-listers.

Naomi Watts strikes a royal pose in a just-released new photo from Diana.

As the title of the upcoming film suggests, the Australian beauty will be taking on the legendary role of Princess Diana, who passed away tragically in August 1997 when the car she was riding in tried to speed away from the paparazzi.

She remains in the news to this day due to her extensive charity work while alive and the legacy she left behind in sons William and Henry.

Naomi Watts as Princess Diana

“It is such an honor to be able to play this iconic role," Watts said in a statement. "Princess Diana was loved across the world and I look forward to rising to the challenge of playing her on screen.”

No release date has been set yet, but Diana will focus on the Princess' relationship with Dr. Hasnat Khan, who will be played by Naveen Andrews.

Perhaps this will cheer Tom Cruise up a bit.

In the news for his divorce from Katie Holmes, the thespian has been named by Forbes as the highest paid actor of the past year. Between May 2011 and May 2012, he made an incredible $75 million.

And because Holmes signed a prenup, Cruise will keep almost all of it!

Tom Cruise Waves

Cruise can mostly thank Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol for the major take home, as it has grossed $700 million worldwide, enabling the star to easily outdistance Leonardo DiCaprio and Adam Sandler in these rankings.

Last month, Kristen Stewart was named the best paid actress in Hollywood.

Here is a look at the top five actors, salary-wise, in the industry from May 2011 through May 2012:

  1. Tom Cruise: $75 million
  2. Leonardo DiCaprio: $38 million
  3. Adam Sandler: $37 million
  4. Dwayne Johnson: $36 million
  5. Ben Stiller: $33 million

It's official: America likes talking stuffed animals more than naked men.

Despite strong competition from Channing Tatum and the shirtless strippers of Magic Mike, Ted smoked and cursed his way to the top of the box office this weekend, earning $54.1 million on Friday and Saturday.

It was the third-highest debut of all-time for an R-rated comedy, trailing only The Hangover II and Sex and the City.

Magic Men didn't fare too poorly itself, though, pulling in a 73 percent female audience and garnering $39.2 million in two days.

“This is what the business is about,” says Warner Brothers’ President of Domestic Distribution, Dan Fellman. “There are surprises sometimes, and when you get a sleeper, it’s great.”

Here is a look at the weekend's top five:

  1. Ted: $54.1 million
  2. Magic Mike: $39.2 million
  3. Brave: $34.0 million
  4. Madea’s Witness Protection: $26.4 million
  5. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted: $11.8 million
