Kevin Smith has completed the script for Clerks 3!
The writer/director posted a picture of the script on Instagram, along with a description:
"IT IS ACCOMPLISHED! First draft of CLERKS III is 137 pages. Plays like the EMPIRE STRIKES BACK of the Clerks trilogy."
Smith originally planned to crowdfund the film on Kickstarter, but after the recent Zach Braff backlash, has scrapped that idea.
An American remake is in the works for the 2009 Italian film The Double Hour, and Michelle Williams and Joel Edgerton have signed on to star.
The original film starred Kseniya Rappoport and Filippo Timi as a couple who meets at a speed dating event. While on vacation, they become victims in a dangerous robbery plot.
