Will we be seeing Miley Cyrus nude in the new issue of Vanity Fair?

The following, screen capped photo of an Entertainment Tonight story certainly makes it seem that way, doesn't it? Granted, the trashy celebrity news program may be trolling for ratings, purposely misleading its viewers with an ad that appears to show the Hannah Montana star in the buff.

However, based on a handful of recent, controversial, racy Miley Cyrus photos, questions have been raised about the innocent image of the actress/singer. This picture won't help matters.

The recent series of possibly racy Miley Cyrus photos has led to a stern defense of the Hannah Montana actress by Joe Jonas, a tongue lashing by Bill O'Reilly and a spirited debate among readers of The Hollywood Gossip.

That's what Brenda Song, star of the Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, has done. She had the following to say about this breaking scandal:

"Miley is probably the most charismatic and strong 15-year-old I know. She brushes everything off with a smile. She is truly a diva â€" in a very good way!"

Brenda Song thinks people should give Miley Cyrus some privacy. Stop looking at pics on the Internet, people!

Song added:

"I love Miley. I think she's a very talented actress and singer. Whatever she does in her personal life is her personal life."

Conservative Fox News host Bill O'Reilly is a moron. Seriously. The political pundit makes Spencer Pratt look like a Rhodes Scholar.

We were willing to put up with O'Reilly's nonsense (really, Bill, New Orleans doesn't have any homeless people?) until now: he has called for a "conference" to discuss the latest leaked photos of Miley Cyrus. Here's a look at them:

"Look, we have so few role models, particularly for little girls in this country," O'Reilly said on his show Wednesday. "She is the main one. I hate to see this... Parents all over the country like this girl because she is clean-cut."

In particular, the talk show host with way too much time on his hands cited the picture of Miley exposing her bra, referring to it as "a teasy, peek-a-boo thing."

In a related note, we often refer to Bill O'Reilly as a "pompous, misguided, lunatic of a thing."

We don't know for sure if Miley Cyrus is dating Thomas Sturges, although recent pictures certainly suggest something is going on there.

We can say for certain, though, that David Archuleta does NOT have a girlfriend. His father confirmed as much in an interview this week.

Recent news items and photos of these two young singers got us to thinking: they should date!!!

Seriously, Cyrus could benefit from having an innocent, popular young man such as Archuleta on her arm; while David could wrap up the American Idol title if viewers spotted him holding hands with the most beloved teenager on the planet.

Think about it, guys. The only holdup to this coupling would be a lack of a catchy nickname. Archus? Mavid? We got nothing.

Should Miley Cyrus and David Archuleta become a couple? We can't imagine a cuter pairing.

For the past few weeks, we've been asking readers to chime in with their opinion on whether or not a series of Miley Cyrus photos are too racy for a 15-year old.

Now, Joe Jonas has responded with his take on his pal's poses.

"We're good friends of hers, and we got her back and we love her to death," the younger singer said, offering Miley the following advice:

"I think it's just the way you come out of it. As much as they say, no one's perfect and everybody makes their mistakes. I think it's the way you handle it and come out of it the proper and respectful way."

Leave Miley Cyrus alone, Joe Jonas says, at least when it comes to slamming her for showing fans a glimpse of her bra.

Miley Cyrus has signed a seven-figure book deal to pen an autobiography that focuses on her impressive, lightening-fast path to fame.

Reportedly, it will especially focus on how mother Leticia helps keep the young star grounded. According to Disney, the book will feature never-before-seen photos, family stories and a look at the star's inner circle.

No word yet on whether or not a chapter will be dedicated to Thomas Sturges.

"I am so excited to let fans in on how important my relationship with my family is to me," Cyrus said. "I hope to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together, and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams."

Expect the Miley memoir to be released in the spring of 2009, coinciding with the premiere of the Hannah Montana movie and the longest, teenager-filled lines in cinematic history.
