Police report that 25-year-old Andre Johnson was arrested on the GMA set this morning after arguing with security. A knife was found in Johnson's possession, and he admitted that he had intended to kill Strahan.

Johnson is currently being held without bail.

Strahan has yet to issue a statement on the matter, but it has been confirmed that he never saw Johnson and was not in any threat of danger.

Live with Kelly and Michael host and NFL Hall of Fame inductee Michael Strahan may join Good Morning America, according to a new report.

Though ABC declined to comment, a source confirms that ABC News has been talking to the former New York Giants defensive end, 42, for months.

Strahan's addition is the latest casting shakeup on the popular show.

"He's not being brought in to replace Josh Elliott [whose departure was announced on Sunday]," says the inside source. "He's not taking anyone's spot."

Instead, GMA hopes to add Strahan to the morning program, while still allowing him to fulfill his Live with Kelly and Michael co-hosting duties with Kelly Ripa.

Details are being worked out, but it is expected that Strahan, who has made quite a post-NFL career for himself, would appear between 7 and 8:15 a.m.

It's not clear what types of segments he will be featured in.

This video is from earlier this month, but hasn't lost any of its appeal since. When Kelly Ripa and the mad PSY-entist of YouTube join forces? Gold.

The Korean rapper posted a video of himself giving Ripa and co-host Michael Strahan tips on how to do his signature move, and the clip quickly went viral.

It began as an offhand request by Kelly, asked if she could be in PSY's next video. He suggested they make a cover of “Gentleman” right there.

“Let’s upload it to YouTube and let’s see what’s going to happen,” he said.

PSY, who appeared on last Thursday's American Idol finale and Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, keeps it rolling on this evening's final DWTS results show.

He is one busy "Gentleman."

Live! finally, officially debuted its new team Tuesday: Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, Super Bowl-winning former star of the New York Giants!

Frequent guest host Strahan jogged out of a SUV, embraced Kelly Ripa and was greeted by confetti as he was confirmed as the new co-host of the show.

Strahan won the gig last month, following Regis Philbin's retirement in 2011; 59 co-hosts joined Kelly Ripa before a permanent one was named.

"I adore you and I am so happy to be here and be a part of this," he said upon his introduction. "You know how they say it's a dream come true?"

"I truly can't say that because I didn't even know I could dream this."

Veteran producer Michael Gelman said “as a guest co-host, Michael’s chemistry with Kelly was off the charts, and continued to grow each time he visited."

"Interaction between co-hosts always has been what makes this show different from any other on TV. Kelly and Michael’s ability to play off of one another and just plain have a fantastic time together creates great TV for the audience.”

What do you think of Michael Strahan as Kelly's co-host?

Regis Philbin certainly left behind big shoes to fill, so it's appropriate that the rumored front-runner to replace him has some mighty large feet.

Former N.Y. Giants defensive end Michael Strahan will join Kelly Ripa as her co-host on Live! early next month, according to numerous reports.

The football star and TV personality, 40, has joined Ripa numerous times as guest host (see below, with Magic Mike's Channing Tatum this year):

Kelly Ripa's co-host will be revealed on-air September 4.

Nick Lachey, Neil Patrick Harris and 57 other guest hosts have stepped since Regis bowed out last year; Seth Meyers was rumored to be in line for the full-time gig.

The rumor going around is that it will be Strahan, however, after he impressed Ripa and execs with his previous guest hosting duties in recent months.

Strahan played 15 NFL seasons, all with New York, setting the single-season sack record and retiring following the Giants' epic Super Bowl XLII victory.
