Dancing with the Stars eliminated two of its more boring contestants this week.

We actually wrote that opening line before watching the show, as season nine's cast is so weak that pretty much anyone on the chopping block qualifies as unentertaining.

Last night, viewers gave the boot to Melissa Joan Hart and Louie Vito, but the actress didn't go quietly. She laid a guilt trip on all of America, saying post-elimination:

"It's tough, I was hoping to make it one more week. My husband was coming next week with my kids."

Vito was a bit more graceful in defeat. He told the audience:

"It's a lot harder than it looks, dealing with frustration, nerves, because you're doing something you're not comfortable with in front of millions of people. Every day I got out there and danced, I was proud of myself just for getting out there."

Next week, Dancing with the Stars will eliminate two more celebs. As host Tom Bergeron put it, this will "thin the herd."

i.e. Speed up this incredibly lackluster season of a typically enthralling competition.

Melissa Joan Hart has written an apology after the New York Post overheard the actress saying that she hoped Farrah Fawcett would live ... at least long enough for her bikini-clad cover to be published by People.

She writes, “It has come to my attention that something I said has been misconstrued in the press. I was merely explaining what I had read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article I read in the New York Times."

"I truly hope Farrah and her family know I wish them the best at this time in her life. I would never be so selfish to disrespect anyone, let alone someone I admire greatly.”

“Last week was an intense one for me in many ways. Not only for all the reasons that have been publicized for you like the magazine cover and our new shop opening."

"Mainly because my mother was admitted into the hospital and underwent an intense 8 hour surgery on a brain tumor. All of my 6 siblings and I gathered at my house and the hospital for the entire week to be strong for each other."

We love how she turned that apology around, once again making the situation all about her. The first two lines would have sufficed.

Stay classy, Sabrina!

Last week, former teen star Melissa Joan Hart was praying over and over and over again that Farrah Fawcett would not succumb to cancer, which she is battling.

Not out of compassion for the ailing actress and legendary sex symbol, though. Just because she wanted to be on the cover of People Magazine so desperately.

The New York Post says Melissa Joan Hart was overheard at KTLA's studios in L.A., where she was promoting her new candy store (apparently) saying as much.

The former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star, 33, was overheard saying to someone off-camera she hoped Farrah wouldn't die, so she could stay on the cover.

We wish Farrah Fawcett well and hope she prevails in her fight against cancer ... and not because we're worried about losing a celebrity news magazine cover to her.

Farrah passing away, which seemed fairly likely, given her declining health, would've been big news and bumped Hart's bikini body and weight loss tips off.

That would have been as tragic as it gets - for Hart.

Fortunately for Melissa, she ended up on the cover - and is dressed appropriately for her ultimate destination if she keeps making comments such as this.

Looking at bikini photos of Melissa Joan Hart now, it's hard to believe that she was "horrified" by unflattering bathing suit pics of her - or that she has given birth to two kids in the last three years. But the girl looks hella good.

"I still read blogs about me discussing how fat I've become," the former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star revealed to People magazine in its new issue.

"Everyone still thinks I'm huge," says Hart, 33, who has Mason, 3, and Braydon, 14 months, with husband, Course of Nature singer Mark Wilkerson.

"But I'm not anymore!"

Reclaiming her figure took Melissa Joan Hart 14 months of hard work.

"It didn't happen by magic – it was as hard for me as it would be for anyone," Melissa Joan Hart says. "I didn't want to take any time away from my sons."

Hart says there are enormous pressures put on by a public that has grown accustomed to seeing stars get back in skinny jeans mere weeks after giving birth, not to mention anorexic waifs like Lindsay Lohan flaunting their rib cages hard.

Her inspiration to finally get back in the best shape of her life? The women in her life, including her friend, actress Jaime Pressly, who has a son, Dezi, 2.

"I realized I didn't have to be heavy just because I have kids," she says. Adds Pressly: "She took the time to take care of herself. I'm blown away."

To get back in bikini shape, Hart worked with nutritionist Derek Johnson to change her diet. She also hit the gym with trainer Mark Harari.

As for how she feels now? "I feel amazing!" she says. "I had to prove to myself that I could do it. I had to give it a go!"

We don't like Melissa Joan Hart.

She seemed cute on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but not having landed a notable acting job since then, the quasi celebrity has grown bitter and desperate for attention.

First, she ripped beloved American Idol star Chris Daughtry.

Now, she's simply ripping off a pose first struck by Demi Moore and then made famous by Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

Following the lead of Tameka Foster, actress Melissa Joan Hart has announced she is pregnant.

Except in the case of the former Sabrina the Teenage Witch star, not everyone hates her! And it's going to be her second child!

Hart and her husband, rocker Mark Wilkerson, who married in 2003, are already the proud parents of a son, Mason, who is nearly 2. Melissa is four months into her current pregnancy.

"I love the faces Mason makes. I could watch him forever," Melissa Joan Hart, 31, told People shortly after his birth.

But it looks like celebrity baby No. 2 will be arriving sooner than planned.

In a recent interview talking about her plans, Hart said, "I hope to have a sibling for Mason sometime around his 3rd birthday, but first, I want him to learn how to snowboard - I feel like that will be a marker of his self control!"

Well, alright then.

Added Hart: "I adore my baby boy and can't imagine not having him around. He makes everything okay, if I've had a bad day or a good one."

Congratulations to the happy couple.

This is better news than the last time we heard from M.J. Hart, who bashed Chris Daughtry for not crediting Mark Wilkerson exclusively for the song he allegedly wrote, "It's Not Over," which became a big hit for the American Idol finalist.

No one has heard much from Melissa Joan Hart in recent years.

Maybe it's because her hit shows, Clarissa Explains it All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch are no longer on the air. And may not really qualify as hit shows.

Or maybe it's because she's an immature, homophobic biatch. It's apparently very possible. At least if you check out a recent posting on her MySpace page, where she lashes out at American Idol singing sensation Chris Daughtry.

Seriously. Click here and read it. Hart is coming to the defense of Mark Wilkerson, her husband (pictured with the has-been above) and a member of the band Course of Nature. Melissa insists Wilkerson wrote most of the single "It's Not Over," which appears on Daughtry's debut album... albeit with a different chorus.

I am so sick of all the articles saying Chris wrote the song "It's Not Over". Then the other day I saw in In touch that Ace Young is taking credit as well. Bulls*&%t. Mark fully wrote everybit of that song except the new lyrics in the chorus... which are gay anyhow. Mark wrote the song about his ex- manager screwing him over and they turned it into a fairy love song. Anyway just wanted to vent and give my man his due credit. If anyone agrees, write in to the rags and let em have it. I am!!!

Wow. She's not jealous or anything. We're all about using MySpace to bash other celebrities, but this is easily the lamest example since Nicole Richie's Rachel Zoe rant.

Wonder how Chris Daughtry would take to hearing his song's chorus called "gay." Probably about as well as Reichen Lehmkuhl would take to having his love life blogged about by Perez Hilton. And if Chris cranks out "fairy" love songs, where does that leave Clay Aiken songs, Melissa? Care to expound on that?
