There's no longer any doubt that Oksana Grigorieva is pregnant.

The passion of Mel Gibson made it impossible for this actor to take a condom break during his dalliances with Oksana Grigorieva.

While the original story emanated from a rarely-reliable source (The National Enquirer), none other than TMZ itself - one of the seedier, albeit accurate, celebrity gossip sites on the Web - has now confirmed that Mel Gibson has, indeed, knocked up his Russian mistress.

TMZ reports that Gibson - a staunch Catholic, who will have some serious explaining to do at the Pearly Gates - has already told estranged wife Robyn and their children about about the pregnancy.

Grigorieva is in her second trimester. Gibson is in trouble with his God.

During a week that's already seen the leaking of Carrie Prejean lingerie pics; a cat fight between Jayde Nicole and Audrina Patridge; and a possible Deanna Hummel sex tape, might the following be the most sordid story of all?

According to The National Enquirer, there's a reason why Mel Gibson's wife filed for divorce last month after 28 years of marriage: the actor's mistress, Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant.

The tabloid - which, remember, was the first to report on John Edwards' affair with Rielle Hunter - claims Gibson's children were stunned by the news, as his two oldest sons - 26-year-old twins Edward and Christian - will hire an attorney to protect their trust funds.

"In late April, Mel gathered his children at the family home in Malibu and broke the news that Oksana is pregnant, and he expects them to accept the baby as a new sibling," a friend told the newspaper. "They are quite upset... they're furious with him and say they're going to take steps to protect their inheritance, which they feel is in jeopardy."

Wow. Looks like Oksana has more in common with Octomom than just a similar face!

Give Mel Gibson credit for his utter lack of shame.

Despite a divorce and an affair that run completely counter to the teachings of the church he's publicly espoused for years, the actor flaunted his relationship with Oksana Grigorieva in public last night.

The couple attended a screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

"Mel has been single for almost three years and it's nice to see him getting out and enjoying himself," his rep told People, referring to Gibson's separation from wife Robyn, which started long before divorce papers were filed.

Still, you'd think the actor - who was dressed in a black suit with a dark gray shirt at the movie - would be more careful about his public image. After all, he's still making apologies to people for hating on Jews so passionately.

Grigorieva, a 39-year-old Russian signer, is signed to Gibson's record label. She held hands with her man as they walked the red carpet prior taking a seat inside the screening at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

"They came in quietly and as under the radar as they could and they were pretty low-key," sad a witness. "Mel seemed very comfortable."

For all the controversy over gay marriage, abortion and the death penalty, few acts are as antithetical to the teachings of the Catholicism as divorce.

(To say nothing of cheating on your wife with a young Russian pop singer.)

Therefore, all eyes were on Mel Gibson yesterday as he attended Church of the Holy Family in Malibu.

The actor had spent the prior week in Costa Rica, following news of his pending divorce and rumors of an affair with Oksana Grigorieva. How did the congregation treat its most famous member? Very well, reportedly.

"He was drinking coffee with church guests and seemed very relaxed," a witness told People about Gibson, who socialized with friends for an hour after Mass.

Moreover, Grigorieva's ex-agent, Victor Kruglov, has seen photographs of Mel's mystery woman and thinks she is, indeed, his former client.

Forget the controversy stirred up by Passion of the Christ.

Sounds like Mel Gibson has to worry about the passion of Oksana Pochepa!

In an interview with Great Britain's The Sun, the 24-year old Russian pop singer says she's been enjoying a relationship with the actor for months. And it sounds like more than just a fling.

"This is serious and I hope that our union will be real and strong and long-lasting," Pochepa told the newspaper yesterday.

The singer met Gibson in August 2008 when she was hired to compose a song for his upcoming movie, Edge of Darkness.

A source on the Massachusetts set told Us Weekly that the pair would often hang out together in Gibson's trailer... if you know what we mean! (Editor's note: that's actually all we mean by that statement. But it's not hard to imagine what they were doing in there.)

In Gibson's defense, insiders have said he and wife Robyn - who filed for divorce this week - have been separated for three years. But that makes this story far less juicy.

But the actor's personal fortune, estimated at close to $1 billion, will take a major hit, now that long-time wife Robyn Moore has filed for divorce.

"This could easily be one of the biggest divorce settlements in Hollywood history," said Los Angeles family lawyer Lynn Soodik, who's not involved with the case. "Any attorney would advise her to take half."

Gibson's estimated assets include:

• Over $600 million grossed by The Passion of the Christ;
• $100-plus million in real estate investments around the globe;
• $75 million for film and TV projects on which Gibson served as executive producer. 

Robyn could also have rights to any of Gibson's future earnings.

Still, friends say the pair will go through the proceedings in an amicable, respectful manner.

"This divorce will probably reach a settlement in a matter of months," Soodik said. "It likely won't be messy since there's enough money to go around."

What took so long?!?

Almost three years after Mel Gibson drove drunk, insulted Jewish people and referred to a cop as "sugar tits," the actor's wife has filed for divorce.

According to TMZ, Robyn Moore filed legal papers to divorce Gibson, her husband of 28 years, last Thursday. She cited "irreconcilable differences" in the document.

The couple were married in 1980, long before Gibson amassed a fortune estimated at $900 million back in 2006. There's no prenuptial agreement, meaning he stands to lose up to half his earnings.

Ouch. That could hurt Mel more than any comparison to former dictator Saddam Hussein.

Robyn is seeking custory of 10-year old son Tom, along with spousal support and attorneys fees.

** UPDATE: A source confirmed to People that Gibson and Moore have actually been separated for three years. This development simply makes it legal.

On Wednesday, we learned that Britney Spears' latest album, Circus, has topped the charts - and her strange friend Mel Gibson couldn't be more proud.

"She's doing great," good ol' Mel told Us Weekly at the Ninth Annual Global Green Sustainable Design Awards in NYC on Wednesday. "She's a sweet girl."

Mel Gibson, who has helped celebrities with sobriety issues over the years (and gone through some interesting incidents himself), privately reached out to Britney Spears - they're former neighbors in Malibu, Calif. - earlier this year.

After her much-publicized public meltdowns, Brit was taken under the wing of Mel and his wife, Robin, and not as any sort of PR stunt, which is pretty cool.

The star's devoted fans may recall that Britney and her father, Jamie Spears, vacationed with the actor and his wife at his ranch in Costa Rica back in May.
