Thursday nights just aren't the same since Friends went off the air in 2004 (though we DO have The Vampire Diaries and that is pretty fantastic).

From 1994 on, we laughed, we cried, and then we laughed again at the happenings of our favorite friends as they navigated life in New York City.

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the premiere of Friends, we thought we'd take a look back at the cast and answer the question: Where are they now!?

Friends Cast
Chandler! Rachel! Ross! Monica! Joey! Phoebe! Central Perk! Thursday nights haven't been the same since the final credits rolled on Friends.

Arguably the most famous of the Friends, Jennifer Aniston, is a constant source of tabloid fodder, thanks to her relationship with Brad Pitt and the demise thereof.

Coupled with the Pitt-Jolie marriage and her inability to walk down the aisle again (even though Aniston is engaged to Justin Theroux) keep her in the spotlight.

Then there are the ever-present Jennifer Aniston pregnancy rumors, which by our count, mean she has been with child at least 22 times ... give or take 22.

When so many of Hollywood's finest fall into the downward spiral of alcoholism and drug abuse, it's sort of refreshing to find celebrities who manage to pull themselves back from the brink.

Or avoid it completely. Take Blake Lively, who prefers curling up with her hottie husband Ryan Reynolds to relax instead of unwinding with a glass of wine.

With a husband like Ryan Reynolds, who can blame her?

Jennifer Aniston will co-host Ellen today.

And in preparation for that gig, she stops by Matthew Perry's house in the following video to ask for advice from her former Friends co-star because he did the same a few weeks ago (and tried not to ogle Jennifer Love Hewitt in the process.)

But Jen really should have called first.

That way, she could have avoided an awkward run-in with Courteney Cox... and Portia de Rossi... and Ellen herself?!? You go, Matthew Perry! Just don't Go On, not anymore.

For the second time in a few weeks, a hockey sideline reporter has provided an epic FAIL for the Internet to mock.

Last month, Comcast SportsNet Chicago reporter Susannah Collins was fired for an on-air sex snafu.

And Friday, a journalist interviewed Matthew Perry between periods of the Los Angeles Kings hockey game, congratulating him on the big "news" surrounding his NBC sitcom Go On.

The awkward problem? That big news was that NBC canceled the series.

Watch Perry handle the misguided question in a humorous fashion now:

Matthew Perry needs a break from Hollywood.

Despite sources claiming he did not suffer any kind of relapse, actor Matthew Perry has released a statement that says he needs to work on his sobriety.

"I'm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery," said the Mr. Sunshine star, who has battled a pain pill and alcohol addiction in the past. "Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web.”

No further details were released, but an insider says Perry will soon enter a treatment center. We wish him the best.
