You may have heard the inevitable news that Marilyn Manson and his girlfriend honey Evan Rachel Wood just got engaged earlier this week. Well, that was right!

Kind of.

The 41-year-old shock-rocker and 22-year-old True Blood actress are indeed betrothed. But the couple didn't get engaged at a Paris concert on Monday.

Instead, they got engaged at his Paris concert on December 21!

MADE FOR EACH OTHER: Marilyn and Evan are getting married!

The self-proclaimed Antichrist Superstar (real name Brian Warner) bought a ring and rose for the occasion and canoodled backstage with the actress afterward.

Manson's first marriage, to Dita Von Teese, went up in flame back in 2007 after he hooked up with Wood, who starred in his video for "Heart-Shaped Glasses."

He and Wood hooked up right around the time he stopped seeing Dita. They broke up in 2008 only to reconcile last April. Now they're together ... forever!

Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson just got back together last month after spending some time apart. Are they now fast-tracking their relationship to the altar?

According to The Mirror (UK), they are already engaged to be married.

An inside source says that at one of the shock rocker's recent shows in Paris, France, he asked Evan to be his wife. Evan said "Yes." Congratulations ... we think?

As recently as September, Evan was linked to her True Blood co-star, Alexander Skarsgard. She soon got back together with Manson, but is this rumor legit?

We sort of hope not. We're happy for them and all, but nothing good can come of this. We're picturing black roses, vials of blood and other morbid stuff.

The couple is registered at Pottery Barn and Hot Topic.

Break out the barf bags, because Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood and totally back together. The big news was broken ... by Manson himself!

In a new interview about his upcoming material, if that's what you'd call it, Marilyn revealed that he and the True Blood cast member are a thing:

“Sometimes you feel awkward being what you’re best at, you feel like you have to be something new. But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being me at my absolute best [is what] I need to be. I think that that really paid off."

"I’m back with Evan, that’s kind of breaking news.”

After she took over for Dita von Teese, Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson dated and lived together for about a year before breaking up in November 2008.

She was recently linked to True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard.

Marilyn also had an interesting quote regarding his career.

Asked if his new music will be "a more honest look" at the rocker, he replied, "Yeah, I think it will be more badass. More romantic maybe. Definitely self abusive."

Whatever that means, we not sure we even want to know.

Some estimates have predicted that the H1N1 virus, commonly referred to as the swine flu, may impact up to one-half of the humans living in the U.S.

That may be far-fetched, but it has already hit Marilyn Manson.

Yes, the former husband of Dita Von Teese and boyfriend of Evan Rachel Wood has gone down with a bout of swine flu, he confirmed in a recent interview.

This has put a temporarily hold on his career as an aging goth shock rocker.

THE H1N1 STRIKES BACK: Marilyn Manson is the latest victim.

"So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU," said Marilyn, real name Brian Warner, in a hilarious statement, which concludes:

"I know everyone will suggest that f*%king some pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have in no way contributed to me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive.”

With responses like that, we'd say it's quite fortunate.

Actress Evan Rachel Wood is sick of the false rumors circulating about why she and Marilyn Manson broke up - a split no one ever saw coming.

"Manson and I both decided to take some time apart so we could concentrate on work. Someone used that opportunity to kick us while we were down and sell a completely false story," the actress, 21, explained in a statement.

Stories of the couple splitting up in a bitter fashion - sparked by Wood's brother Ira, who had been living with the pair, getting kicked out of Marilyn Manson's guest house by the 39-year-old shock rocker - started popping up this week.

But Evan Rachel Wood said it was all blown out of proportion.

"Manson owns the house he lives in. My brother has never stayed there and the person that said such horrible things about Manson being 'controlling' and 'emotionally abusive' is certainly no source 'close' to me," Wood said.

"Manson has been by my side and taken care of me through the best and worst times. I love him as a person and as an artist. I will always be proud to have been a part of that."

"If any more attacks are made on us, it is the act of a desperate, selfish person, who is angry to no longer be a part of my life. No further comment will be made at this time."

Manson and Wood began dating in December 2006. Prior to cradle robbing Evan, he was seeing Dita von Teese naked like a lot. They were married, after all.

Man, we were joking before about how it was just a matter of time before Evan Rachel Wood became morphed into Dita Von Teese by Marilyn Manson.

But if you peep the photos below, you'll see Manson's teenage actress girlfriend really is starting to look more and more like his estranged former wife!

It's a transformation as strange as it is inevitable.

Next thing you know, Marilyn will be pushing Evan Rachel Wood into girl-on-girl action and she'll be stripping for money in a giant martini glass. Or something.

Somehow Marilyn Manson has seen both Dita Von Teese nude and Evan Rachel Wood naked. We totally should have gone into the goth shock rock profession.

A sexy Evan Rachel Wood kept her white (hot!) gloves on during a special screening of her new musical romance, Across The Universe, Thursday.

The film opens in theaters nationwide next Friday, September 21. Oh, Evan's boyfriend, Marilyn Manson, waited on the sidelines during the screening.

Evan Rachel Wood says she isn't a fan of celebrity gossip, but she also recently told reporters that she doesn't see much of a point in complaining about it.

"I don't buy when people say [being harassed by celebrity photo agencies] is not their fault, because there is a way to control it. My experience with being famous and other celebrities has convinced me I wasn't built for it," she said.

"Maybe it was the way I was brought up, but it is really terrifying for me when a bunch of people are staring at me or chasing me. The other night, people were jumping on the car and banging on the windows. I don't think people know how scary that is. It is like a strange dream. It becomes animalistic to me, and creepy. But I try my best to stay out of it."

As for Marilyn Manson, he's a weird guy. But he's seen both Evan Rachel Wood and Dita Von Teese nude, so you have to kinda give him props.

We realize calling Marilyn Manson weird is akin to terming Britney Spears a train wreck these days. How much more obvious do we want to be here?

Nevertheless, you may not believe this recent piece of celebrity news.

Manson's keyboard player has filed a lawsuit claiming that the shock rocker squandered their band's earnings on "sick and disturbing purchases of Nazi memorabilia and taxidermy, including the skeleton of a young Chinese girl."

Well, okay then. Keyboardist Stephen "Pogo" Bier also accuses Marilyn Manson of splurging on a multimillion-dollar home, an engagement ring for Dita Von Teese, as well as the couple's lavish wedding in Ireland.

Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese filed for divorce earlier this year.

According to the New York Post, Bier accuses the 38-year-old Manson (real name Brian Warner) and his "musketeers" (his business manager, lawyer and the band's manager) of assisting Manson "in filching millions of dollars the band made over the years."

Somehow in there, he got tired of seeing Dita Von Teese nude. For her part, Von Teese, 34, is still recovering from the couple's very public split in January after a year of marriage.

Yes, that's Dita Von Teese nude. Marilyn is a moron.

Shortly after the burlesque star filed for divorce in January, Manson began dating (rather controversially) the 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood.

Von Teese says that she was disappointed that her ex chose to speak about the end of their marriage and his love for Wood while doing press for his new album.

"It was hard," a dejected Dita tells RadarOnline in an interview. "I never expected it. It's unfortunate to have my divorce exploited for record sales."

As for his take on the issue? In an interview with France's Le Parisien newspaper, Marilyn Manson said of Dita Von Teese:

"I was married to someone who wanted me to change. Become more adult, more responsible. I began not to like myself, not like what I do. I lost my identity."

Harsh! Radar asked Dita Von Teese if she thought some of Manson's frank remarks about their history were blown out of proportion by the press.

"I don't think it was the press," Von Teese said. "It was a matter of, ‘Hey, maybe you shouldn't drink absinthe and do cocaine and do interviews all at the same time.' ... It was drinking and interviewing."

Like everyone else, Marilyn Manson has to go through that awkward first meeting with his girlfriend's folks.

Except that when you consider we're talking about Manson and Evan Rachel Wood, this rite of passage seems more, well, shocking.

The Hollywood Gossip believes these family talks must have been a much more amusing exchange than anything that happened in the film Meet the Parents.

The 38-year-old rocker, whose divorce from the sultry Dita Von Teese became final in May, is already deep into a very public relationship with Evan Rachel Wood.

The petite actress just happens to be 19.

In fact, the couple recently co-starred in an erotic video for Marilyn Manson's new song, "Heart-Shaped Glasses."

It's a little weird. But unlike Hayden Panettiere, she's legal. So back off, haters!

Marliyn Manson sat down with Rolling Stone recently to discuss his music, Evan Rachel Wood, and what their parents think about their relationship. Below are a few excerpts...

On Evan Rachel Wood's appearance in his, er, violent and sexually explicit music video for "Heart-Shaped Glasses" ...
"I had to have a drink with Evan's mother and father. The thing that needs to be established is that I might share my life with her, but that doesn't incriminate her in my behavior."

"I found a strange, ironic similarity with what her father said to me, and what my dad said to Evan, which was, 'If you break his heart, I'll kill you,' or something along those lines."

How Evan Rachel Wood compares to other women he's been with:
"Evan was a real catalyst to help me realize that I wasn't delivering the message that I always stood for. And if you were to speak about her talent and personality, she's the most unique, stand-alone person who doesn't need a relationship with me to further her career. If anything, I could only take away from it."

THG NOTE: How does she stack up with Dita Von Teese nude? That's a question that will have to be answered another time. And sadly, not by us.

Regardless, it's nice that Wood is not a publicity-crazed, alcoholic train wreck such as Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, the latter of whom Marilyn Manson saw naked at least once, but did not hook up with. Which sounds absurd, yet somehow makes perfect sense.
